Congrats on the new squat PR! The greatest PR to make in my book, maybe tied with deadlift. Both of those are the most satisfying, and essentially tell the world the sum of your overall strength...

Wow, that wood piece is really cool! Is that really the natural color like that?? Also, killer PRs! Making me look like I'm using baby weights. Literally just mogged me. [emoji38][emoji28]

awesome PR!! this has been my struggle for nearly a decade! Wife had a huge tree, like 4ft+ diameter dropped before I knew her and it always killed me that I didn't have the ability to mill it...

Was very difficult to keep the saw cut straight. It’s definitely not perfectly flat. I did level it out a lot with a grinder and the sanding pad.

You did a good job….that’s not easy with a chainsaw. I did that with about a 24” diameter Polplar tree we had down, a few years ago. Took a chainsaw and cut 4 slabs varying from 2 1/2” to 3”...

it is crazy what that stuff costs, live edge slabs can go for BIG money out here. we were shopping them for bar seating on our deck and the local places wanted up to like $800 EACH (we needed 2 or...

Yeah that is a bummer, I had no idea prices of wood slabs would be that high. It definitely is a lot of work to it, I used 2 chainsaws because I didn’t want to overheat the bar’s. A long cut on...

Congrats on the PR! Also, what in the Multiplicity do you have going on over there, getting all of that done while working full time. and what work do you have the dumbest one do?

Oh for sure man I have been drawing out and planning in my head for this at least a year now. If you can build it yourself definitely cost savings for sure!

Well let me tell you my timing is so perfect it’s hard to match. Let’s decide to build a house when prices on everything are running to all time high 🤣

I have taken deloads that essentially had no barbell. I've skipped deloads entirely. Its like a three bears situation trying to get this thing juuuuust right.

roger that, noted. I think I have carried some confusion on the expected deload volume. I'm rereading the 7th Week Protocol though, so i'll get some checks and balances in for tonights session...

This is way too little work. Even fully skipping BBB, this isn’t enough comp bench. You aren’t getting enough skill work or volume to sustain your muscle base. I would still do a first set last...

I agree, I learned this the hard way for sure. My output on those 3 weeks has been much more intense, the deload far more necessary. its a mental shift, makes me look forward to each week in its...

@Hyde do you have thoughts on this weeks approach for my deload? More volume, less volume, etc? My thoughts this week are to maintain the below approach, squat like 315 for a great single...

Exactly. Some people will tell you deloading every 4th week is losing 25% of your training time. I will tell you that getting hurt loses WAY more time. If you are loving the program as is and...

As of right now I have really liked taking PRs in training vs attempting to peak. I don't want to change whats working, yet, but I see the pros to his 3/5/1 approach allowing jokers on weeks 1 and...
