Fitness enthusiast for my whole life. I grew up with my dad as a power lifter and mom as a marathon runner, so fitness has always been a huge part of my life. I decided to start power lifting a couple years back, and did it for about a year and a half. I got pretty strong pretty quick. My dad benched 650 and I was working to beating him, but decided I would rather save my joints the stress. Also having shattered my heel when I was younger and never taking care of it, the heavy squat and leg press workouts wreaked havoc on my heel.
I was a personal trainer throughout college and for a couple years after. Decided I didn't want to deal with people complaining about how they couldn't do the workout, even though they were getting stronger, more fit, feeling better, etc. I went into sales, and just recently started my own company. www.socks-inabox.com
I am now at the gym 5 days a week doing weight training, and either walking or running on the nice days here. Yes...I know, nice days?
