    Sometimes, people forget that there is more involved in the upper arm than just bicep and tricep, there is also the brachialis muscle which makes up a good percentage of the arm muscle. Perhaps you are not working that muscle as hard as you should? Maybe try some hammercurls to remedy that....

    BMI is meaningless to any decent lifter/bodybuilder. If you have decent muscle mass your BMI is going to be out of whack. When he was heavyweight champion, Mike Tyson was,according to the BMI charts, obese. Ronnie Coleman is by the charts, morbidly obese.

    Personally, I have found the members here at AM to be a remarkably centered and well rounded group. For the most part, they are free from the insecurities that cause so many people to act like fools as far as relationships go. I would definitely consider their advice if I was in need of it.

    I was always 100% free weights. But I recently bought a machine and I like it a lot, i start off with my free weights and then when fatigue sets in i hit the machine for several more sets than I would have normally been able to do. So I think a machine can be a valuable addition to your workout...

    Its always been my understanding that higher blood pressure is a fairly common side effect of using gear, but perhaps someone with more experience with it will correct me if I'm wrong.

    I am 52 now. Never taken a PH or aas in my life, and i am stronger now than I have ever been. My secret is simple. I lift very regularly. I use proper form and I eat right.

    Personally, morning workouts are best for me, but thats just because of my schedule....I think the best schedule for lifting is whenever you have enough free time to do it.
