As a tax paying citizen working 150 hours a week between my wife and I year around, have donated to St Jude and Wounded Warrior project monthly for the last 15 years it seems our local and federal governments have it all figured out!!!!

I can't take my kids to a Wizards vs Celtics game on 1/23 because we aren't vaccinated. As of 1/15 DC is on lockdown. These tickets were purchased back in October.

People do recognize that minority populations have statistically much higher violent crime rates in certain areas. In NZ, Maori and Pacific Islanders make up a statistically much higher percentage of violent crime than other nationalities.

The answers are far more obscure, but people are slowly recognizing how to even remotely address the issues.

In NZ, after Europeans settled we basically stripped Maori of their land, culture and identity and forced them to speak English and adapt to our customs. It's not isolated to NZ, and countries colonized by Britain (the US, Canada, Australia etc) have similar trends with their native populations. In the case of the US, it was taking people from their homes in Africa and forcing them to work while stripping them of their entire heritage.

Flow on from that, when you force populations into Ghettos, reduce their access to education and job opportunities, the outcome is that gangs are formed and poverty runs rampant. Drug dealing and petty theft become ways to survive. Over time, the sons and daughters learn these behaviors and continue the trends.

Hundreds of years on we now just say "oh they're all so violent" because we have forgotten who made them that way.

If you want meaningful change, you have to somehow undo decades of harm.

i cannot honestly comment on issues in NZ because i don't think just reading about NZ on the internet qualifies me to make anything other than generalizations, which i am well aware do not tell the whole story.

i read stories about what it was like in the 60s and 70s and those stories don't connect with me about the reality of having lived it--stories and history are usually wrote with bias and agendas---the japanese have a completely different story of pearl harbotr than the story i read in high school history books---and today modern historians are painting a different history than what was taught in my youth...even busing is told thru a different lens, and look at how long politicians tried to put censorship on what really happend in mental institutions...just look at how the media recently portrayed looting and rioting as 'mostly peaceful' demonstrations, while buildings burned in the background.

This afternoon she still had a nagging headache and advil not working, and I told her let me make her a Nespresso cappucinno and that finally cured it!

We have have socialist government here that spends billions on healthcare, so they drain the system and healthy people that do and have done their part all their lives have to pay for other people's irresponsible choices, and if your a healthy lifestyle person who makes average income you have less purchasing power to make healthy choices such as buying higher cost organic veggies as an example.

One thing China did early was dominate the mass production facility market early. Basically anything that runs off a production line is manufactured I China.

It makes sense too, ever seen how the majority of those things are run? If you want a toy put together, one person's job is to attach the left leg to the torso everyday for years. That's their one job, and they probably work in that factory 16 hours a day.

Most Western people would never do a job that tedious voluntarily.
