I would guess that the majority of prisoners are inside due to victimless crimes established by both Demicans and Republicrats and they would be voting for Jo Jorgensen, especially if Dump and Groper werent such horrific cowards and allowed her on the debates so her voice is her on a national stage.

bullsyht...they give plea deals for everything these days....give me some stats on this, i think only the most heinous crimes get serious prison time and even then they get out way to soon...

i get disgusted seeing the light sentences criminals get these days---pre meditated murder gets pleaded down to manslaughter and out in 10 years or less.

ecomomists estimate $6 a gallon gasoline if biden is elected---only a moron thinks that this kind of increase in gasoline wouldn't cause a dramatic skyrocket of overall prices on everything.

If you’re referring to drug charges as victimless crimes, their not. Substance abuse tears families apart, damages the emotional growth of children and drains healthcare. I agree that not all drug charges should result in confinement. Mandatory in-patient rehab would be more beneficial but still doesn’t always work.

rehab doesn't work all that well even when it's voluntary-i know this for a fact as a member of AA for over 20 years and a graduate of VA in house drug and alcohol rehab --and mandatory rehab has even less success.

i want to see statistics on how many non-violent offenders are actually doing prison sentences, my bet is it's not very high.

Wrong....very few crimes are actually "victim-less"...especially those warranting prison time ..

I’m glad you’ve been sober for a while bigT! Congrats on that. My opinion on rehab is there has to be something to lose for the abuser to truly start to buy into it. A close friend was a functioning heroin junkie back in the 80’s and got off around 1992. Hasn’t used heroin since BUT is still on methadone. One addiction to a controlled addiction.

There’s not many non-violent offenders in prison. If you consider a burglary of an unoccupied home non-violent, then that’s about the only one you’ll find.

your friend is very lucky, even if he is still on methadone-the guys who i went thru rehab with who were there for heroin addiction said they didn't get the 'cartooning' effect from methodone that they got from heroin.

i went thru a 6 month in house rehab and out of the 53 i was there with only 15 made it 3 months, and i only know of 1 other who has like me maintained sobriety. the VA has done away with that program because the success rate was so low for such a VERY EXPENSIVE 6 month in house rehab.

i say prayers everyday thanking GOD for my sobriety...anyone who has beat addiction should feel blessed because the success rate is very low. even in AA i have seen members with as much as 10 years sobriety relapse.

Its a medical issue, and what tears families apart more than anything is the war on drugs which doesnt and never will solve the issue both you and I are concerned with, which is drug use.

If a drug user directly harms another or someone in the family, then of course they violated the rights of someone else and that is certainly 100000% a crime that should be punishable with prison time if severe enough.

i will take it a step further and say i bet very few are locked up for non-VIOLENT crimes...it seems it takes a really bad crime to get prison time these days-what would have been felonies back in the day now get reduced down to misdemeanors these days with probation/house arrest or jail time of less than a year.

Using, growing and/or selling drugs, gambling, prostitution, keeping your earnings from the government, owning a shotgun under 18" and many other firearms, walking around NYC with a knife in my pocket, whistle-blowing or reporting government run crimes, and so on are all some examples of victimless crimes.

Now here are some stats, its from '09 but its a start.

get fucking real...the only medical issue is if a person od's or fucksup their body by abuse. the medical profession has no answer for addiction....once a addict is truly a addict crime will follow 1000000% of the time if they don't make the choice to get sober and do a whole lot of praying---i would be willing to bet i know a hell of a lot more about this subject than you do-wanna bet? :D

I just need to clear this, Im talking about victimless crimes, not non-violent offenders. If someone steals something from somebody or a store, there was no act of violence. There is a victim involved with this one, therefore=punishable by fine or prison sentence depending on severe and if multiple offender.

You’re exactly right. I see so many repeat offenders in and out of jail for major felonies. We kicked a door about a month ago on a guy that was selling heroin. On the kitchen counter was paperwork showing where he had been charged two other times for selling heroin both within two weeks of the day we kicked his door. He was out on bond. With bond reform, liberals have looked at it as punitive and seeing racial disparities in bond amounts. I call bullshitz on it because bond amounts have always been determined on the defendant’s record, the likelihood of showing up for court, and the risk of injury to others. Color has nothing to do with it. It’s nobody’s fault but the offender and I can’t help if more people of one color or race commit more crimes than others. I’m fed up with no one wanting to be held accountable for their actions and no respect for rules/laws and authority.

If they have an addiction and they are multiple offenders in violating offenders then they need to be behind the bars.

People are responsible for their own lives and bodies.

the thing about criminals is that they escalate...they see they can get away with small stuff they move on to bigger and bigger things!!! not always though, thank GOD.

Im not soft on real crime here like libtards are these days.

If a drug dealer went to collect payment from someone who owed him and threatened him, and or used a weapon to get his money then the drug dealer is violating a severe offense. The only thing I would agree in this situation is taking the drug user to small claims court. I know it sounds strange to many but Im serious. I believe in rule of law and following certain protocols in situations like this.

Most people are absolutely useless at using Google. They just type phrases and expect Google to find exactly what they want. Sometimes itll work, but simply using quotations around text, or AROUND() can really make differences to your search results.

Also remember Google does not index the deep web or sites which the robots.txt file explicitly excludes crawlers. Some sites do not want Google to index them in their entirety, and some sites which are indexed and specific web pages you definitely do not want crawlers to access - I.e. password protected or special access
