Donald Trump running for president

It literally says nothing about BLM in the video or in the description on youtube. Show me what I'm missing.

You are missing nothing. Like I said, it must have been some other random protest that sprung up at the same time BLM was protesting.

Just a big misunderstanding.

Ahh ok, I completely misread your post as sarcastic and thought maybe I was missing something.

So these two geniuses show news media clips to prove that these stories were never covered by the news media? What is it about BLM's message that scares or bothers most of you? They have never once said that whites don't get shot by cops. They've never once said whites can't have a rough life. All they've said is that this is the issue that bothers us and we want it to change. A breast cancer fundraiser doesn't mean they hate people with prostate cancer. Seriously, some of you are so fragile that if a group wants to do good and it happens to not cover you, you see it as an attack and it's pathetic.

What do these people think if protestors across the street start a white lives matters movement? Let get real, can we say that almost and each and every one of the BLM side automatically conclude that the people across the street are kkk nazis who hate black people?

I dunno, to me if you want equality consider "American's Lives Matters," thats how we get unity and equality, not by picking and choosing what color people are born with. We are all Americans, racism and oppression exists for all of us and we need to unit as Americans to solve these issues. A typical BLM guy isnt my enemy though, I just oppose their political and social positions as a whole and want to win them over to my side which will benefit theirs, in my opinion of course.

Nonprofits can't fund political campaigns

They are just the Hodge Twins...if you remember them from when they used to do all the bodybuilding and supplement podcasts, you dont watch them to learn scientifically from them, they are just fun to watch and they do get a point here and there across.

I actually didnt know until a few days ago they got into politics and travel around to do comedy shows. I hope they come my way, when its legal of course :)

How do you become a member or get up in the ranks? Are white people, Mexicans or Russians allowed to join or become President of BLM?
The majority of BLM protesters ive seen, are being held by white skater kids in skinny jeans...

So if they called it “Black Lives Matter TOO,” you’d be cool with it?

From what I’ve heard from a few articulate people who support it is that they aren’t saying that black lives matter MORE than white lives, only that they feel that black people are often being treated as “less than” in America, especially by law enforcement. And they want EQUAL treatment under the law and by police officers.

I’m not weighing in on the topic, just trying to clear up some potential confusion.

Granted, if you just increase police oversight in general, it’d be harder for them to abuse their power and harass ANYONE, black or white, so police brutality is more of a police issue than a race issue IMO. Police shouldn’t be allowed to abuse their power to anyone, black, white, green, purple, etc.

"There is no nice way to arrest a potentially dangerous, combative suspect. The police are our bodyguards; our hired fists, batons and guns. We pay them to do the dirty work of protecting us. The work we're too afraid, too unskilled, or too civilized to do ourselves. We expect them to keep the bad guys out of our businesses, out of our cars, out of our houses, and out of our faces. We just don't want to see how it's done."

And putting your knee on the neck of a handcuffed man for 8+ minutes is “how it’s done?” Pushing an old man down and leaving him to bleed out is “how it’s done?” Having sex with a woman in your custody is “how it’s done?” Conducting a no-knock raid on the wrong house is “how it’s done?” F**k off...

Also, that quote dates back to at least 2008 based on a cursory google search, so should NOT be used to try to defend what some officers do in 2020.

I didnt say it had anything to do with the murder of Floyd, or that stulid old man...

The quote addresses law enforcement as a whole, and the general publics feeling towards them. Please don't curse at me...

And I’m saying that people are rightfully upset at the multiple clear instances of police nationwide abusing their power, and they’ve gotten away with it, aided by their departments covering it up, for a long time. That’s what people are upset about. And the police who are shooting rubber bullets at people on their porches during curfew, or pepper spraying someone in their window for insulting them. Or bumping into peaceful protestors in the streets so they can arrest them for assault.

Ok, buddy.

Ok, buddy.
What, you don’t think those examples are messed up? You don’t think that there could be some basic level of police reform? You think we should just say “well, they have a dirty job, so it’s ok that they’re extra dirty?” Maybe give some context to your quotes like an adult and explain it, how it relates.

Also, that old man was probably a paid "fall guy." He shouldve stayed out of their faces...

I dont paint law enforcement with a broad brush...you want reform? Become a cop, and show others how you would do the job.

What size tinfoil hat do you wear? Also, are you saying them pushing him and then leaving him to bleed out was justified? You did just say “he should’ve stayed out of their faces. Did he make the smartest decision? No. Did the police far overreact and then handle their overreaction poorly? Also yes. Should they be held responsible? Again, yes.

So if I think that Catholic priests molesting kids is bad, the only solution is for me to become a priest myself and set a good example? That’s beyond asinine.

You DON’T think we should have laws making it illegal to have sex with people in custody? How would me being a good cop and not doing that stop idiot cops from doing it and getting away with it if there’s no law against it?

Furthermore, passing laws making it harder for bad cops to be bad cops wouldn’t at all harm good cops, so what’s the problem? Making it illegal to have sex with someone in custody won’t at all impact 99.999% of officers, so why not implement it? 99.99% of officers won’t beat an unarmed man, so why not make it so that you do get in trouble if you do? You can have police reform to get rid of the few bad apples and not harm the good officers. Why would you be against that?

Lol that cop barely touched that dude. He should have stayed home...

I think people should treat others similarly to the way they want to be treated. You want a black college? Fine, but how would these people react if they open a "white" college tomorrow. I mean, if you really want equality just open a freakin college and make all applications based on a coded # and entry level based specifically on qualifications rather than what color someone popped out of mamma. Ok, so your community has trouble going through to that college because your school system is getting less public funding per-student than a middle class community. Totally fair lets address based on the communities issues and figure out how to equally distribute funds in "public" schools, but dont say your getting less money because people are black, because its not due to that. This isnt the 1950s anymore.

As far as police goes, they are dehumanizing people that go out and protect the very people your standing up for as a whole. There are two things here, saying cops are racist out to hunt down black people is racist in a way. Your pre-judging all people based on the badge, which happens to include many people of the same color of skin your standing up for. This should be more individually targeted on a case by case basis, just because a police officer killed someone doesn't automatically make it a race crime. The problem is people want justice, we all do and cops are getting away with murder so we should all stand up for reform and better accountability of these crimes. Thats as in we as Americans.

Another problem with clinging to skin color is there are many people with the same color who cant stand that group. BLM is not the voice of "black people." Im not sure they are claiming they are, but it appears to be. If they are, they are being racist again and assuming that people both inherently share your issues along with the solutions to those issues which isn't the case because all people think are individuals at the end of the day behind a stupid skin color. I think its better message if they come up with something community rather based on race, or calling out a specific police precinct and local judicial systems. Yeah, nobody speaks for everybody in a community, but I think it comes across much better when addressing these types of issues.

I think at the end of the day 1 extreme is going to fuel the other extreme, people get a tribal like mentality and the people of the country becomes like a prison system.

I dunno, like a said, BLM arent really my enemies, I want these passionate energy people to jump my side and join my team, I have my own agenda to help them lol!

America has failed black people from the very start. And that was followed by centuries of white people telling them what was best for them, like you're doing now. You keep saying that racism and oppression exists for all of us, but that's complete bullshit. You've personally done nothing but mock BLM since it started, but feel free to show me how you've tried to learn what they actually stand for or somebody active in BLM that you've spoken with. If you don't understand a concept, you basically have three options: learn and then make up your mind, keep your mouth shut, or keep spreading misinformation and lies.

Black colleges were started primarily because "white colleges" were just called college. Are you serious with this? So those colleges today obviously have a historical meaning to black students, but they don't ban white students from attending.

I think it's because a lot of people hear "Black Lives Matter" and hear that means that somehow white lives don't matter, or black lives matter more than white lives, when they're really just trying to say "Black Lives ALSO Matter," or "Black Lives Matter TOO." Could some groups perhaps explain this better when it's brought up? Sure, but that's one thing with BLM; I don't really think it has an organized hierarchical structure, or any actual official "spokesperson" from what I've heard, which means that some member/groups can be peaceful, some may not, some may be very good at explaining their views, and some may not, etc.

Of course police shouldn't abuse ANYONE, white, black, blue, green, pink, purple, etc. but people saying police shouldn't abuse black people doesn't mean that they're saying it's OK for them to abuse white people.

Just like if a Jewish group tried to get laws passed to prevent/limit Antisemitism, that doesn't mean that us Jews think that people should be allowed to target/harass Muslims for their faith. People just tend to focus on themselves and the groups they belong to and/or associate with. It's really that simple.

They are a political organization, every political organization tells society whats best for us and I will forever mock each and every one of them, lol

America has failed all races from the start, and all races have both failed other races and their own race. Its all bullshyt, people fail people, people fail themselves.

Im not telling BLM whats best for them, but only what I think is best for them. What I would want to persuade from them the government dependency is a failure and that individual freedom and self dependency is their best setup for their future prosperity.

Ill never shut my mouth, and I would never want BLM to shut their mouths and defend their rights to talk.... but as long as BLM is a political organization they need to put up with opposition and different ideas to solutions because as far as I have heard all their solutions effect everybody else as a whole with their big government socialist and racial engineering programs.

Speaking of BLM spokesperson, can a Native American be their spokesperson or do they racially profile their organization. Are they open to diversity? I mean real diversity in their rankings?

You see my whole point all along is they are part of the problem, not the solution.

Does it happen though with other groups? I don't think that it does or at least not to this extent. It's telling that saying black lives matter causes such a knee-jerk reaction. People want to pretend that racism doesn't exist because they place the threshold for being racist as people who go out lynching.

For now on I'm just responding all whatever matters. Your dog died? All dogs matter. Your grandma has cancer? All grandmas matter. Merry Christmas? Too bad, happy holidays because all holidays matter.

Yes Im serious, its time to move on with this black college baloney and just call it a college. Name it after a person like MLK if they want, not his skin color. Thats just a suggestion, not a demand.

Some people arent pretending it exists, they think they are contributing to racist. Can a white guy be the president of BLM? Really? They are part of the problem.

They. Are. Not. Speaking. To. You. Are you black? Are you a cop who participates in police brutality? No, so you should look deeper why you're so against them or against learning what they actually stand for.

It's not actually named Black College. You do realize that, no? There isn't a college named after a skin color. They are historically black colleges that allow everybody in.

That’s what they usually refer it it that’s what I meant. Has Howard U ever had a white president or do they racially discriminate against whites? Can a Chinese be president there? I haven’t looked into this but I can guess.

I just think they are part of the problem they are trying to solve.

Im not “so” against them, just against them because they come across as racially divisive to me.

I look at them as my fellow Americans not black people, but they can identify themselves any way they want.

and they will, regardless of what you think...and that's the way it is, lol.

I just want to oppose racism that’s all. Judge by character not skin color. If there are racist maggots out there let’s crush them together. Let’s be fair though about it.

The only groups you've spoken out against are those that were created to fight racism. You'll spend all day mocking them and spreading false information, but won't take five minutes to read their clearly stated mission on their website.

Not if the person actually believes that, but most that use that phrase do not. The type of people like yourself that suggest going to the projects to help black people because that the first thing that comes to their mind when they think about where to find black people that need help.

Ok I will do just than when I get home, but there always is written agenda and then comes everything else.

I’ll judge what’s written and give my thoughts in a bit.

there isn't anything fair about it...if you don't think the way they want you to think then to them you are a racist-plain and simple!!!

hell, i've been called a racist in this thread and i have a brown wife and children, lol....yup, i am a white supremist, lol.

I’ve never heard someone supporting BLM saying a white person isn’t welcome to support the cause. But maybe your experience is different? They don’t have any official spokespeople from what I’ve heard? Just people claiming to represent it, which is why sometimes it sounds like you hear mixed messages? But please correct me if I’m wrong, maybe I am? But you really wouldn’t want a non-black person as the FACE of BLM, right? Any more than you’d want the FACE of a Jewish movement fighting antisemitism lead by a known Catholic. It just seems silly. That said, ANYONE should be welcome to support/join the movement.

didn't obama invite representatives of blm to white house?

So the first thing I ran into was the George Floyd defund the police campaign, they claim that police are out to kill black people which I think they are very wrong with that. It was a specific incident by a group of 4 police and there is no evidence it was racially based. It was a incident of police brutality and murder on an "American Citizen."

So right there they are immediately race bating and discriminating against police as racists as a whole.

So anyways

"About"
#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Foundation, Inc is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes. By combating and countering acts of violence, creating space for Black imagination and innovation, and centering Black joy, we are winning immediate improvements in our lives.

Ok so you strt with Martin and go on to eradicate white supremacy immediately in the next sentence, but George Zimmerman was Latino RRROOOOOFFFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

On top of that, it was not a incidence of white supremecy on Martins murder, it was George Zimmerman the American murdering Martin.

Ill be back.

But you really wouldn’t want a non-black person as the FACE of BLM, right? Any more than you’d want the FACE of a Jewish movement fighting antisemitism lead by a known Catholic. It just seems silly. That said, ANYONE should be welcome to support/join the movement.

Yeah, why not...what an example that would set, show diversity and set an example of equality by picking a white person to be the spokesperson of your race.

Im serious, this is how we break racial barriers....set an example, this is real leadership not from the top but from the entire community.

Religion is an ideology...in a way, these people in BLM have their own political ideology, so naturally you would pick a white person who leads the black community with a similar ideology.

Catholics should fight anti-semitism as much as Jews do anyways.

no...they call you racist if you say ALL lives matter.
So if they changed the BLM to BLMT (Black Lives Matter Too), or to BLAM (Black Lives Also Matter), you’d never have to say “well, ALL lives matter.”

If I, a Jew, start a group to fight antisemitism, does that mean I think abuse towards Muslims is OK because I’m only focusing on discrimination against Jews? Do I have to advocate for EVERY group? Is this my showing “Jewish Supremacy?”

PS: I think BLAM is a MUCH better acronym than BLM anyway!
