Donald Trump running for president

I heard China is putting extra scrutiny/restrictions on research into how this virus started/originated/etc.

And speaking about restrictions, keep in mind they completely cleaned up the "crime scene" and the meat market before anyone in the global community had a chance to investigate. I mean yeah, you want to clean it up but with the power of the CCP it would have been easy to quaranteen that entire meat market and its surroundings until further research was done. Then of course, person "0" later had nothing to do with the meat market so whatever ..... They make crap up as they go along thats for sure.

Yeah. It’s been around forever. Since 2012 according to the internet, which makes sense, I think I played it in ~2013. You make a “plague” and build/adapt it to wipe out humanity.
surprised you didn't get a 'virus'...on your computer.

good wholesome family fun-eh?:geek:

Pretty sure I played it in school; web deign class maybe? We also played Halo and Unreal Tournament in that class when we had subs. Someone brought them on a USB and put them on all the computers. Good times.

My graphics team played unreal on the network in our graphics lab. 9 of us using a billion dollar company network to play a network based first person shooter.

It was glorious. Also. Someone happened to download several terabytes of music onto that server from Napster before Lars screwed that ip for everyone.

we just shot spitballs at subs when they were writing on chalkboard...aint technology great?

Yea... l have big problems with what he said today. I guess thats what happens when you give a lifelong raging narcissist tons of power. I dont see how anyone who appreciates the constitution, right or left, can support what he said.

"When somebody is president of the United States, the authority is total."

No fukking thanks, bud.

He was talking about overriding the stupid decisions of some governors right?

IIRC, he said it when asked if some states wouldn’t lift/reduce restrictions as early as Trump wants them to. Not sure how that’s inherently a “stupid decision.” Especially considering how different each state can be impacted by the virus; one state may not be hit at all, while another may have major issues, and a single, universal “reopening” of the entire country seems like an unnecessarily “one-size-fits-all” approach. Hell, even beyond a state level, local municipalities have their own restrictions at times; suggesting that the ONLY rules we can have come from the federal government is somewhat alarming TBH.

Here in NY, its not even a "state" issue. Its a "tri-state" issue and the economy and life is heavily connected to New Jersey and Connecticut. The 3 Governors are collaborating a alliance to do everything together such as opening up schools, restaurants, along with other things. They dont want a mass of people crossing state lines if one eased up on life over the other.

Like all the people swarming to Florida from NY? And Florida politely asked them to self-quarantine for 14 days lol.

Well we have Dump swarming back and forth playing golf and hanging out in his Dump Tower, thats already too much for NY. He should just stay there!

He was speaking against states' rights, something that Republicans supposedly are for. He also never declared a federal shutdown, so how is he supposed to end something that he never started?

I remember him saying last week that he leaves things up to Governors and there is something called the US Constitution almost in those exact words, and now all the sudden he declared himself as Idi Amin.

Exactly. And you also have people in this forum who claimed this disease was a hoax and wasn't as bad as the regular flu, but now that Trump has switched views, so have they.

You see, it’s “States’ Rights” when you agree with the decision of said State, but it’s the State being idiotic when you don’t. Simple really. ;)

I hope that didnt come from me, not exactly. I think (at least now, maybe a month ago I felt different) this appears to a bit stronger than the flu but worse off its far more contagious. At the same time Im trying to put things into perspective as I feel that things went way to extreme and overhyped with the potential of long term sacrifices that consequently may be worse. That being said Im all for supporting the medical community to deal with this as I know they need help and being proactive in other various solutions.

And it's "we have a Constitution" when it's time to justify kids getting shot in the face, but not when a news reporter hurts the fragile feelings of the dotard in chief.

No, not you at all. You were skeptical, but only in a "we still can't tell" sort of way, because at that time we couldn't really know for sure until it happened.

Im glad Im not the one making the decisions right now to tell you the truth, even if I think whats going on right now are so wrong on some levels.

My big concern now is what if there is a 2nd or 3rd wave, how much more can we possible shut down society like this? They tried to prevent a crisis by creating a different crisis and Im not sure what a 2nd or 3rd would do...its not the last virus. I do think this is an opportunity for all the entrepreneurs to figure this all out on how to run businesses and keep a degree of safety when another alarm sounds. If they dont figure this out now and show big poppa executive solutions its certainly going to haunt them more the 2nd time as there is no guarantees trillion dollar bailouts can be pulled off again without collapsing the dollar completely

He was talking about overriding the stupid decisions of some governors right?

He said it in response to state’s governors forming committees (Cali/Washington/Oregon & NY/Conn/Mass/a couple other east coast states) to begin discussing procedures for how & when to lift the stay at home/social distancing order. This is something they have EVERY RIGHT to do constitutionally.

Also, i really wouldn’t give a damn what he said those words in response too. It’s still scary as shît to have a president say “the authority (of the POTUS) is total” and know he truly believes that.

He basically just declared himself judge, jury, executioner, king, imperial ruler, furor, whatever other title you want to give him.

To hell with that. Presidents with that kind of attitude are the EXACT reason why the 2nd amendment exists. Its going to be ironic to hear 2nd amendment supporters (which I am, btw) try to defend the words he said.

He’s going to try and blackmail the Democrat Governors. That’s what he said basically. “They’ll come around just watch.”

He’s a scumbag grifting blackmailing piece of garbage. Has no understanding of anything he reads and has zero empathy. If he were an animal. He’d be a shark. The very thing he fears most.

Ha. You’ve got that right. But I definitely wont be voting for Biden either. So just another election’s vote gone to waste.

I knew you weren't a trump fan...at least you won't be voting for a guy who doesn't even know what office he is running for. I can respect that!!!

Admittedly I dont like 95% of political candidates. I generally think most (ehh...maybe 50% lol) get into it for the right reasons early on but by the time they make it to being able to have a decent shot at the presidency theyre just hungry for the power and have lost the desire to improve life and liberty for Americans (namely blue collar Americans). I dont see Trump as any different from those who are only in it for themselves and also think the way he carries himself is a complete embarrassment to our entire country and it’s citizens. I dont have a huge problem with many of his policies, its him as an individual i cant stand.

once again, I can respect this.

Voting for either of them is the biggest waste, but both them and their cults would like you to think otherwise, thats how they formed the single party duopoly.

He is running for Captain of the Book Club for the Weston Senior Living Center in Delaware.

And the 10th! Trump supporters don't defend, they just deflect. They'd rather still complain about what Hillary might have done, than what Trump has actually done.
