Mmorso Runs MST Cordygen-Nano2 and Runs (Sponsored)

Its not that bad except for the strength loss and lack of pumps.. it makes lifting weights less fun and I lose a little motivation

Are you seeing your own red flags/
if your not.. step back and look at what you are reading..
Strength Loss...
Lack of Pumps..
Lack of Motivation

Why are you weightlifting if your not having fun? This is defeating the purpose of a hobby
do people play the guitar because they hate it?
Do people hike the wild just cause they are bored? no....

Look man. If your not seeing that everything your saying is counter productive, then you really need to sit down and evaulate your goals and what you are doing.

I'm just trying to drop a little BF. I'm in a wedding in 6 weeks and will be seeing family I haven't seen in a year and want to look good.

Then I'll go back to chasing strength and size gains

Bob has a good point. Maybe do what we were talking about last night.

Your already dropping some bf I see. Nice

Its not about chasing strength and size gains man.
Listen to what your saying.

I can't get a pump
I am losing strength
Losing motivation

If you were excited about lifting, if you were excited about losing this weight. its a different story. Everything you are saying is 100% different then what any gym goer should be saying about a hobby. If your losing interest, not seeing results, losing muscle Your not taking the right steps to approach your dieting process.

Definitely seeing some progress here. Keep it up, man!

Use that Cordygen to power up some cardio and you'll be golden!

Yeah I actually should apologize for not discussing this product enough. With diet and training changes, as well as getting sick, it's been hard to pin point what it's doing.

I'm thinking of changing gears as The Solution has me rethinking my approach... I've just only ever been successful cutting fat through the ketogenic diet.

I might go back to carb cycling and do fasted LISS cardio in the AM (20mins on elliptical training days/ 30min walk on off days) and resistance training in the afternoon.

I will take the Cordygen before cardio with Yohimbine and caffeine.

After cardio meal will be BCAAs, Greek yogurt, berries, and a bowl of oatmeal.

I'll go back to 3 days of ~200g carbs then 1 day of ~50g carbs

Does this look like a better plan?

There is no answer for "Better" it comes down to HOW YOU PROGRESS. Anything can be scripted on a piece of paper, but in the end its just that. A workout plan or for a lack of better term "Diet". Everything is individual.

What are the other 3 days if 3 days are 200g of carbs and 1 day 50g? I personally would just keep it simple. Workout days X/Y/Z p/c/f and non-workout days just drop your carbs and have a bit more fat.

If your around 180 i would do
180g protein
20% fat
Rest Carbs

non workout days raise fats to 30-40% and drop the carbs and overall calories by about 200.

Best thing and advice for cutting.. Keep calories are carbs as high as possible while still losing.
How much cardio are you doing? What types? I personally would do 2-3x a week fasted LISS with Y for 20-30 minutes and then crank up 3-4 days of 5 Intervals post workout (HIIT). That will help with EPOC , raising metabolism, and also getting the best of both worlds.

I don't like to step on toes and do things (because other clients of mine do pay me), but I can get you going in the right direction.

No need to apologize, brother. You just gotta figure out what works for you! The only comment I have is that there is some evidence that caffeine could weaken the effects of Cordygen, so you might want to leave that one out.

I've kept the cardio down to a minimum this week because I've been losing so fast. I typically walk 2 miles in the morning or evening, taking about 30 mins... On off days, I've been doing fasted cardio on the elliptical for 30-50mins at a jogging pace. My elliptical is broken so I have no idea on speed etc...

Before doing keto I would add in an HIIT session directly after lifting 1 day a week. This would be performed on the elliptical and I'd do 12-14 mins with only 5 or 6 rounds of sprints (20:40 ratio). I was trying g to work my way up to 8 rounds with 30:30 ratio

No worries on stepping on my toes brother. I post my macros and training to be able to get some feedback and appreciate all the help I can get

But it does enhance Yohimbine.
Yeah, valid point. I'd suggest trying it both ways and figuring out what works best for you mmorso. I personally haven't seen a little caffeine causing much issue with Cordygen. But I wanted to put the info out here since this is a log for Cordygen, after all. :-)

So your doing cardio everyday? That is quite a lot of cardio which is over 210-250 minutes of LISS a week.
I would drop it to 3x 30 minutes LISS and 4x5 HIIT intervals (post-workout) and see how that treats you
Especially with adding carbs back in.

Workout: (2000 kcals)
200g Protein
45g Fat
200g Carbs

Non-Workout (1715 kcals)
200g Protein
75g Fat
60g Carbs

Refeed 1x a week (2500 kcals)
175g Protein
35g Fat
375g Carbs

Thanks Bob that looks like an awesome blueprint! I'm going to give that a try after I sit down and plan meals. I also already ate 27g of fat for breakfast lol

I'll take Cordygen in the afternoon before weights and HIIT

Appreciate that post Bob. That is practically my carb cycling plan except I am taking in more protein and slightly higher off day carbs because my body is pretty efficient with them.

Sounds good. Cordygen might not do much for you on weight days unless you're crazy like me and do circuit or supersets. I think you'll like it most with the HIIT.

Day 10. Weight 178. 40mins afternoon lifting

Legs

Squats: 135x12, 225x8, 225x8, 225x8, 225x8, 225x8

Deadlifts: 315x5, 325x4, 335x3, 345x2, 355x1

I'm still out of keto from that cheat meal 2 nights ago and have been feeling pretty good today.

I notice the Cordygen most on leg days!!! Like I said earlier, when I squat above 2 plates I get winded by the 5th rep. Today I didn't get winded at all through my squat sets, although 225 is feeling slightly heavier and I really had to fight to get 8 reps the last 2 sets.

I'm going to continue the keto diet through the weekend and will carb up on Sunday night... it's my wife's bday on Sunday so I'm gonna cook us a feast.

Monday I'm going to start carb cycling following The Solution's macro and training suggestions. My new split will be:

Monday: fasted LISS AM; Chest/Back/Abs +HIIT in the afternoon (Macros: 2000kcals 200p/200c/45f)

Tuesday: Shoulders/Arms +HIIT (Macros: 2000kcals 200p/200c/45f)

Wednesday: fasted LISS AM; Legs (Macros: 2500kcals 175p/375c/35f)

Thursday: Off (Macros: 1715kcals 200p/60c/75f)

Friday: fasted LISS AM; Chest/Back/Abs +HIIT (Macros: 2000kcals 200p/200c/45f)

Sat: Shoulders/Arms (Macros: 2000kcals 200p/200c/45f)

Sunday: Off (Macros: 1715kcals 200p/60c/75f)

I will take 15mg Yohimbine HCI with caffeine before fasted cardio and will take the Cordygen later in the day before my HIIT sessions. I'm also taking 50mg of Forskolin twice a day, in addition to my staples (creatine etc).

That's the plan I'm sticking with...

lets look at your context here again.

The last 3-4 days on keto. you talk about energy lacking, gym sessions a struggle, losing muscle.. etc
Today you claim you felt great from all the carbs.. If the carbs are making you feel better, and you operate better on carbs. Just switch now.. Why wait on progress or making your training more "optimal"

Think about what you saying here bud... It is pretty clear that the keto you are running is not providing you good training sessions or optimal results. Why waste a few days?

Day 11. Weight 178.8. Rest day

I woke up with his morning and was exhausted after multiple cups of coffee... I had planned on lifting this morning and took some Slinmax with ~50g carb breakfast... within 15mins I started feeling DOMS in my legs and the fatigue increased. I decided to call the gym off

And Lol

Yeah my body doesn't know what the fck is going on with this in and out of keto ****.

I feel like fcking garbage. I'm done with the no carb sh1t.

Also psychologically I'm fatigued... my dad is in the hospital with an abscess in his liver (cancer battle/long story)... I might have to fly out to Chicago in the next couple days

So my body and mind are drained. I'm going to chill out and maybe have a few drinks today.

I couldn't do it. I would die.

When is the last time
You took total time
Off the gym? Like 3-4 total days off in a row? Sounds like your whole body is jacked up and over fatigued

Great advice when I sluggish in the gym or stalling in the gym and take a week off I usually come back literally stronger than ever

Glad to hear your dad is doing better, bro! As for keto, I can't do it either. It's a way to drop weight fast, but I've found that I feel so crappy that overall it's just not worth it. I'd rather feel good.

See once I become keto adapted I feel better on it. My mind is sharper, I have more mental energy, , crushes my craving, less anxious, and I just feel good in keto. Although I can't makes progress in the gym while keto, ruins any pump, strength tanks hard, I do at times feel like I have been walking all day while keto even if I'm not overly active, I find I lose weight better with a moderate carb diet(even with same exact workouts, total calories, and daily routine), and the 7-14 days of trying to become keto adapted is fuking hell!!!!!

So keto is a give and take with me as I don't know what to think as some areas it is amazing for me and others it hurts me.

Although as Spurfy mentioned fasting is great for weightloss, just try to become keto adapted before you start or it will be torture!!! You can lose significant amount of weight in a 14-21 day fast. Lose little to no muscle, assuming you continue to workout. As soon as you reintroduce food; especially carbs almost all gains(strength and size) immediately comeback. Not to mention it is almost spiritual (and I'm non religious). What the fasting does to the mind and gut is nothing short of astonishing. The amount of endorphins the body releases when you are keto adapted and in a fast is massive!!!!!There ares some massive drawback to it though, for sure.

If performance, pump, and optimal training is in the tank. Keto is not going to be doing you any favors as a FYI
You can diet, but if you lose strength and have horrible training sessions you are just asking to lose muscle and not make any progress.

Totally agree although, for me, keto is about more than gym and how I look. It's about my life out side of the gym. As a sufferer of clinical depression, anxiety, and social anxiety, keto is nothing short of a miracle for me(once adapted). As I said it a give and take for me.

Tbar Rows: 90x15, 135x10

Awesome workout today!! Weights felt lighter and I got a good pump. I drank some whiskey last night (over half a pint) and woke up a little dehydrated. So here is my discovery:

Cordygen is a hangover killer! No joke... if you want to evade the consequences of drinking to excess and still get to the gym, this is the sup for you!!!

It would be perfect for a guy like ChocolateClen if he was getting the most out of his college experience rather than just eating rice and etc...

Anyway, I definitely see how Cordygen improves recovery...
