with the clamp down of prescription narcotics, many are turning to heroin....a large portion of heroin is coming in from mexico, not to mention cocaine. if what they are sayin on the news is true there is an epidemic of overdoses.

i don't know what the solution is to keep it out, but it seems we should be doing something!!!

For starters it would help if you put a halt on the US government growing it, using the military to help grow it and protect it from those that hate it such as the Taliban, and then importing it over here to the states via simply flying it all in. Maybe its crossing the border in Mexico, but Afghanistan is were 90% of the world supply comes from thanks to good 'ol US policy.

The war on drugs is a complete failure and Dump is wrong for supporting it. Its simply a medical issue. One thing Dump get right is that he did mention is more of a medical issue. You will never stop it, its impossible. Get rid of heroin and people will take something worse such as that flesh eating drug that ate Ms. Russia alive.

Trump's solution seems to be to build a wall and cut drug treatment programs.

I think that is far too simplistic to work.

Yes he mentioned that at his address to congress, and that would be great however he has been flip flopping on alot of issues lately and the swamp has been draining his cabinet real quick.

Your not going to get the other side of the story often on NYTimes, its total propaganda as we can see the way they acted during the Dump campaign and this whole Russian agent nonsense. We would have to dig deep into whats thinking and with the looming health care change on how that would effect and help drug issues. We have to wait and see how this rolls out of course if and when it happens, not as optimistic as I was a month ago though.

The passenger who was savagely removed from United flight 3411 is a medical doctor with a sordid history.

Dr. David Dao was charged in 2005 with 98 felony drug counts for illegally prescribing and trafficking painkillers. Prosecutors claimed Dao fraudulently filled prescriptions for hydrocodone, Oxycontin and Percocet.

Dr. Dao was also convicted on 6 felony counts of obtaining drugs by fraud and deceit and in 2005 was given 5 years probation.

Dao was also convicted for writing prescriptions and checks to a patient in exchange for sex.
In medical board documents ... Dao denied paying for sex, but indicated he accepted sexual favors from an associate in exchange for reducing a debt that associate owed him.

In February, 2005, Dr. Dao surrendered his license to practice medicine in Kentucky. In 2015 the medical board lifted the suspension and allowed him to practice medicine with some restrictions. Last year, the medical board imposed even more restrictions -- now he can only practice internal medicine in an outpatient facility one day a week.

Interestingly, and relevant to the United incident, one doctor assessing Dao's case said he had interpersonal problems, noting "... he would unilaterally choose to do his own thing."

David Dao, the doctor who was dragged off the United flight, made a killing on the World Series of Poker while his medical license was suspended in Kentucky.

Dao joined the poker circuit in July 2006 -- one year after his medical license was suspended due to Invalid Link Removed for illegally prescribing painkillers.

In 2009, he came in 2nd in a tournament and walked away with more than $117k.
His player profile shows total earnings of $234,664 in the Invalid Link Removed.

Some of Dao's competitors are starting to realize he's the same guy from the United incident.
 
it is possible it was a calculated strategy for a lawsuit....but the bumping policy of united leaves a lot to be desired!!!

He has done some good things...what Im really looking for is income tax reform that he had outlined during his campaign cutting taxes for lower and middle income people all across. Of course its only going to be another big shytfest in congress again.

I always wanted the trans partnership abolished, he deregulated coal and some "climate change" regulations, a bunch of companies increased confidence and moving jobs here such as Samsung, they are rounding up and kicking out criminal immigrants, approved pipeline, abolished foreign lobby including several years out of office, forcing two regulations to be abolished for every new regulation...

There was a bunch more. My big thing was him being friends with Russia and not intervening with Assad but that quickly changed.

Anyways that being said I did not vote for Dump and his policies are truly are not my cup of tea. He does not support the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights which is my big thing. Im just picking out things that are better than before.

He isnt going to do anything to protect our privacy as he supports the NSA and would authorize the assassination of our treasured whistleblowers without due process,

he isnt going to abolish the IRS and the criminal income tax system, he isnt going to abolish the Federal Reserve and restore the only Constitutional currency of gold and silver,

he isnt going to end the Patriot Act but watch him extend it, he most likely will not abolish the National Defense Preparedness Act which is also a clear violation of our Bill of Rights,

he isnt going to stop the groping of people at airports,

he attacked a foreign nation without the consent of congress and without a threat to our nations security,

he doesnt truly support the 2nd Amendment but only a heavily regulated version of it,

he supports the war on drugs,

Ill stop there I have more......but he is not a man of freedom and liberty for the people and most certainly does not respect the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Does that mean I cant find some positives about him? Of course I can,

But really there isnt that much difference between Dump and Obama along with liberal democrats when it comes to many big issues I quickly outlined above.

No doubt about the rampant overbooking. While getting ready to board our flight to Ireland a couple weeks ago, they said they needed 4 people to get bumped. They finally upped their offer to $1000 credit, so they got takers. We didn't want to waste most of our first day there, since we landed at 9:30am in Ireland, otherwise we would have taken it. Thus poor guy, they said he was bumped because they needed room to deadhead some United employees to another city. Paying passengers shouldn't get bumped for employees that are flying for free.

I could not believe he went the direction of Hitler in defense. His actions are why they despise him. That said, does media sway opinions? It most certainly can, and we have seen it with the 45 and older crowd here in the USA with FOX news and CNN for sure. You are not correct however with respect to how the world views us. They see how our actions and decisions effect them, and it's not very good quite often. I'm embarrassed at our leadership, and have been for quite a few years beyond Trump, but he is a spoiled child-man with no real days of work in his life of privileged and disconnect from the average American. He's a horrible representative of our values, or is he... I'm now questioning our values if I am incorrect.

Maybe it's time to find a country that is more in line with my values of respecting other lives.

He is only picking up where Obama left off....Obama created the whole Syrian civil war, overthrow of the Ukrainian government and civil war, continued the Iraq and Afghan war (ended the Afghan war in 2024 ROFL!!!,) destroyed Lybia, created ISIS....etc.....

I think you need to read about the Syrian Civil War a bit more. The Assad regime started in 1971 when the current Assad's father declared himself President. The Assads have had jihads declared against them since the 1980's. He nor his father were popular. The Civil War truly began when the current Assad put down protests with armed retaliation.

Tell me again how Obama started this?

Yeah ok great, Assad is a bunghole just like most leaders, nobody is denying that but who cares and why should that be any of our business?

Syria was a peaceful low crime country before Obama and Hitlery plotted the overthrow of Assad by funding and arming terrorist aka rebel groups.

Obama has given rebels and terrorists billions of dollars in weapons, training, intelligence, money to terrorist groups for regime change and the country is now destroyed.

500 million deaths the past 6 years, all the blood and genocide is on the hands of Obama/Hitlery/NATO supporters now, not Assad.

The Syrians were given BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN ARMS AND TRAINING BY THE USA.

Turkey are a bunch of globalist aholes, the CIA used Turkey to shuttle the arms and training to Syrian terrorists, this was reported and well know within my circles before the civil war ever happened and CiaNN started covering anything in Syria, at that time people were throwing tin foil labels and conspiracy slogans.

Sorry, I have been following the overthrow of Syria and Lybia before these protests even started back in 2009 when I knew of the CIA plots and just posting what I know. You can do your own research and decide whatever you want.

The truth is failed foreign interventionism by the Obama administration has left Syria into complete ruins and 500 million people have been slaughtered as a result of these policies.

How exactly do you know the CIA was there? Can you prove this?

I'm pretty sure if you had "evidence", that the CIA wouldn't allow you to have it. Do you think that you are one of the privileged few to have classified info or something?
