In Tennessee anyway, the infrastructure in rural areas is almost non-existent. You have NO choice but to drive if you live there. Groceries, jobs, everything is so spread out that it is virtually impossible to get around without using gas.

Relocation isn't always easy, either.

Oh yeah, I understand. As you know, once Im president, I would release those documents...in the meantime we should have enough storage of oil hidden in Montana to not only supply Americans with cheap fuel until about 2045 or so, but to also enough to completely erase the 20 trillion dollar deficit.

I want people such as in rural area's of Tennessee have access to cheaper fuel.

Now, as far as the gas tax goes if we were to implement it, I would assume rural area infrastructure would be significantly less than area's such as southern tier NY. Of course, gas tax should be localized and designed to help local people directly so the tax would fluctuate depending on localized needs and economy. Object is not to hurt people, but to pay for things to help people.

you should listen to your dad!!! I didn't say a basic high school education isn't necessary, but at the same time we learned what we needed to know in high school back then....
let me ask you a question-why are all these vocational schools becoming so popular?

I propose that instead of young people[and older people]spending lots of money on technical/vocational schools, the government offer an incentive for companies to teach workers job skills while earning a paycheck....I keep hearing companies complaining about not having enough skilled workers-well then train them you f'ing retards, lol!!!

I honestly think that many things that people do today could be done more cheaply and less dangerously through automation.

I don't want to displace people from their jobs, but I see places like UPS (where I work part time) easily replacing workers with robots, leaving people to do more intellectual and creative work to improve the world.

I know it sounds crazy, but things like that would require more education.

I know, not everyone wants to go to school. However, if we were to change things in such a fundamental way, maybe more people would be interested in higher education.

This is pie in the sky thinking, I know ;)

I evolved in the box making business. when I started around 30 years ago it was a very physical job. you had to use allen wrenches to loosen and tighten all the moving parts for set-ups. then you had to load the feeder by hand, this sometimes required 2 people depending on size of sheets, plus you had to stack by hand. along the way we got more automated....by the time I was laid off by international paper set-ups were done by computer program, we had computer programmed pre-feeders and load formers for stacking.


every time a new innovation was added technicians/installers would come in and install the new machines/updates and then technicians would train us on how to operate machines....I am not talking simple machines, I am talking about multi million dollar very sophisticated machines. I don't think many machine operators had a college degree, if any!!!

even the maintenance crew learned on the job and were able to repair and maintain machines with mostly on the job training!!!

on the job training works, I have personally experienced it.....I bet someone unfamiliar with operating a flexo folder gluer would be lost on how to even start the machine-even with a masters degree, lol!!!

Whats the difference between a mother dumping a 1 month old baby in the trash can or allowing herself to have her 8.5 month old not yet born baby have its head pushed out of her and then the baby's neck is snapped and broken so it dies?

We have to draw a line here (more specifically above example), to me thats murder both ways that a woman should be charged with.

The thing is based off one statement above, if its banned its banned. If I break the law why cant I get a get out of free jail card? Thats not fair.
 
If there is one letdown on Trump is the actual reversal of his stance. I dont mean any reversal, we all change but the sudden reversal seems rather phony de-legitimizing what made him special to people.

Doesnt mean I support the regulation, its just the law. Such as its against the law for me to have a concealed carry on, I dont break the law as much as I despise it. As much as I despise the atrocities of income tax laws as tyranny I still pay my taxes.

As far as regulation, I support individual rights and liberties of all. The whole debate here is weather an unborn baby is a human or not....I would at least at minimum protect a baby that is close to birth and declare it a human who has all Constitutional rights. It just bothers me if there is a pre-mature labor at 7 months, doctors will save its life and we have a precious human born into the world for years to come, but a 8 month old they just snap its neck and sell its bodyparts. That to me is murder. Early stage pregnancies Im not so emotional about.

But even more farcical are Cruz and Kasich's positions. If they both as they claim really genuinely think abortion is murder, how can they possibly then argue that a woman who willfully and intentionally goes to an abortion clinic to pay a doctor to murder their unborn child is not at the very least an accessory to such? Really? You consider the woman to be a victim of the murderer they hired?

Most ridiculous of all however had to be Chris Christie's assertion at one of the earlier debates that while all abortion is murder, abortion in the case of rape is actually just killing in self defense.

Trump talks without thinking on issues like abortion because unlike his religious ideologue counterparts in the GOP, he doesn't actually give a **** about abortion, he just has to walk the walk in hopes of keeping the GOP base in line and voting for him.

Many of Trumps policies are ridiculous, but the GOP should frankly be thankful that he's the front runner and getting all of the media attention. The policies and views of his opponents are shockingly even more fanatical and devoid of common sense than his are.

Ted Cruz is the guy that tried to torpedo our national credit rating and default on our national debt.
Ted Cruz is the guy that led multiple attempts to shut the government down.
Ted Cruz fundamentally ignores the establishment clause of the first amendment and doesn't believe in the separation of church and state, which should be more scary to Christians than the opposite, because if you remember correctly, the pilgrim colonists were fleeing their homeland specifically because of a lack of separation of church and state.
Ted Cruz has openly stated his intent to violate numerous binding international agreements we are party to.
Ted Cruz has openly expressed his desire to commit genocide by carpet bombing entire cities in ISIS territory.

The best possible outcome of this election for the GOP is that it results in the complete destruction of the GOP and re-establishment as a party that would actually be capable of running an effective government, because the GOP jumped the shark way before the Trump Train rolled into town.

But in all honesty, our earth can't support our current rate of growth. We NEED population control everywhere. But the US is definitely the center of the worldwide idiot populace, we could use it here.

I personally choose to never have kids. If I do, maybe 1, 2 tops. Everyone feels such a ridiculous need to breed, we're expanding the populace beyond control. This would also be an easy answer to world poverty and unemployment rates.

We can support population control without all the abortion stuff, not always bad.

What I mean by that is I believe modernizing nations causes decreases in population growth, so not always so bad. Def not a supporter of Obama's white house science czar's programs or what China does with forced abortions and heavy penalties.
