Getting better at deads, I think my long break hurt cns capacity a bit because I don't think my muscles really gave up but it just sort of seemed like I was done and couldnt pull it off the floor anymore. Working set was 5x310, warm ups 10x225.
I am set on moving gym to the morning, tomorrow will be legs @ 5am. Woot! Also, thanks GMG for the inspiration on your squat post, good stuff!

new toy started this week, melanotan II. trying to cut back on tanning bed use during winter, we'll see if this fades slower than natural in a few months.

summer is about over, time to get back into the death of an insane amount of calories. the summertime and the flu was good to me, lost a lot of bloat that i had- and managed to get my step brother to get his sh~t together in the gym finally. i think my aim for this next anabolic minds year for myself, is going to be more in the area of diet/nutrition. that is my main sticking point at this time, so let's kill it this year!
hope to catch my old friends around here and make a bunch of new ones. talk to you guys soon!

i finally stopped going to the local gym. with my schedule, it just doesnt work out and i grew tired of doing the same old thing. i began a new job last year, and turns out i work with another AM member. as a result, we've been doing the basement gym thing a few days a week, as we find time.
looks like i left off doing 175 max on squats, and we have that bumped up to solid 260 during week 5 of growth phase, so im happy to be making some good progress. plus there's a lot of violent screaming and general craziness going on the entire time.
all natty baby, screw PH.
time for more food, holla!

i know fitday is the common mantra, but for those of us who dont like being strapped to a computer all the time, i recommend "daily burn", almost entirely for the iphone app itself. i can search for the random food i've just eaten, and it will pull all of the stats from online and add them to what i've eaten for the day.
at my last job, i was able to keep track of everything with an excel spreadsheet, but now days that's just not happening, and this has been the answer.
and the real kicker is that, like any real iphone app, its basically an extension of a really WELL BUILT website, meaning you're not strapped to the stupid phone either.
someone out there has been tapping the collective mental consciousness and came up with this thing, its absolutely stellar. and we all know that when we're tracking, we're gaining. workouts, food, etc.
come to think of it, the only thing i dont track these days is sleep

well the short story is i lied! three is an iphone app called "sleep cycle" that graphs your sleep and measures the amount of time spent sleeping. the actual alarm time is based on when you're most likely to be coming out of REM (so could be a little earlier than the alarm).
the idea is to actually be well rested, instead of forcing yourself awake in the middle of a cycle. you probably already know what that's like, getting up an hour before you intend to and being awake- just to fall back asleep and then struggle to get up when the alarm does go off.
so yeah, i lied- now im logging sleep as well!

Found my old calipers while cleaning out the living room, measured just over 12% bf. I've noticed it creeping up over the past few months- I used to intensely play drums for at least 2-4 hours a week and they're in need of some new heads so I can get them back into action. I also never do "gym cardio", and sit at my desk all day for work; that's going to change starting today with at least 5x a week. Nothing insane, just moderate for at least 2 miles in 30 minutes.
