I do. My team typically does heart rate focused training about 3-4 times a week. I've found it's been a good way to increase my capacity during short, very taxing workouts. I have one of the OG Polar monitors.
I had the Polar FT7 for a bit and received the Polar M400 recently. Both are fine but the latter is able to upload data to the computer for spread sheet type record keeping if that is your preference. It is mine.
I use it even for anerobic workouts as well. I just pause the recorder during rest periods.
I've been using a Polar FT80 for 3 years and love it. It was rated the best for weightlifting. It also has a replaceable battery. Some Polar models require you to send it to them.
