what are the best exercises to build stronger wrists.. As my bench goes up the bar starts to hurt my wrists
Your most likely benching wrong. You don't want your wrists bent back during the bench. You want your wrist and forearm to be in line with each other. Refer to the first picture in this link to see how:Bench press technique
Use dumbbells for a while and don't use gloves/wrist wraps. Won't happen over night but dumbbells work wonders for those smaller muscle groups.
