(O.T.) Explaining supp spending to wife

I had a bit of dejavu,Ive had the exact same conversation with my wife and i tell her you can't put a price on your health and as you get older it gets more expensive to maintain your health.hang in there it sounds like your handling things ok

My ex wife used to complain all the time about me purchasing supplements. I too had a cabinet off to the far side corner of the kitchen. I laughed at you comment about your wife looking in there and what she would tell you. My ex would do the same. LOL!

She came out of a bag on me back in the day when I came home with the latest and greatesat from EAS "Phosphegen" The big size! Oh yeah, and a big box of meal replacement shakes.

It doesn't happen anymore.

This is one of the best post I've seen in a very long time! My wife and I are going on 7 years. The first two years it was "what the hell are you taken now" or "how many bottles of whatever you bought could fit in that huge box".

Now, I have my own closet in kitchen, have her taken sups and she doesn't even ask what's in the box... it's to funny cause when they come she says "this one's going to make you HUGE right?"

All-in-all, she's cool with it now... as long as nothing makes my junk fall off

Then we both laugh!

My cabinet is going to be even fuller in a couple days. I just ordered 100g of Beta-Alanine and NutraPlanets Bulk Ultimate mass stack (100g Arginine EE, 100g Creatine EE, and 100g Citrulline malate for $19.99). I might have to take over another cabinet.

Your wife sounds soo much like my wife. Now you have me thinking, is she over at your place when she's "working late"? Now I'm sad.

The only thing that will cheer me back up is if you give me your bottle of 3AD.

Easy solution here:

Ok so you earn your total income per month, then you both say "we each have $300" or whatever to spend on whatever we like that month.

That way you can both spend it on whatever you like, or save it. You can spend your whole $300 on drinking or video games, or your wife can spend $300 on clothes or shoes, whatever you are both into.

Setting a budget and sticking with it is the best way. On the odd month where you may need more, you simply tell her, and she knows its only this month for such and such reason. Same applies for her, if she has say a $100 top she wants but already spent $240 this month, you can both agree she can buy it this month as its a "treat".

Works great.

Dude I can relate to you, I'm sure we all can. I'm not married but I have a 3 year girlfriend. Whenever she walks into my room and sees my new supplements(i like to display them on my cabinet... you know...) and she says "Oh my god again?" or the worst is "Your buying more steroids?"........steroids? I didn't know supplements were steroids. I hate when people make that comparison, so stupid.

Anyhow just deal with it or shrug it off. Could get dangerous while on a cycle, aggression goes up and she says something to tick you off, that's the challenging part. But you guys shouldn't arguing about something this small. It's your "HOBBY" and I'm sure she has hers(shoes, skin care products, clothes) so it balances out. Good luck and make funny comments when she says stuff like that like "Why you so interested, wanna bench 300 lbs too?" Just shrug it off because if you make it serious it'll turn into a fight hence no pu$$y that night.

We really don't fight about it. The comments are just a little annoying. I knew that this had to be something that everyone dealt with and I just wanted to hear everybody else's situation. It turned out to be more entertaining than I thought. It seems like 95% of the people here have dealt with this to some degree.

Besides after a 9 year relationship we know by now that arguing isn't going to help anything.
