They have no reason to operate at anything below market rate, and their size and wholly owned end to end production from cow to tub of protein surely makes their profitability higher per lb. of protein than other companies.

Wow... that's incredible! Whey is more popular than ever, even sedentary folks are always asking me about protein shakes these days. This niche industry has surely gone mainstream (for better or worse haha).
