Does anyone know how much or the max amount of idodine one can take in supplement form to support thyroid functioning, as either pure iodine, and in the form of sea kelp, and is it safe to take perm ? (excluding iodised salt)

  2. Follow the recommended dietary guideline on the pack its what the FDA or other food authority will assume your lacking in a well balanced diet but i think the upper limit would be 1 gram total supplement including diet. Use the Iodine salt over the kelp if you want a more accurate dose. Don't forget though its the t3 you want your thyroid to start producing properly and that can only happen with selenium. If you have that supplement already im interested in what brand as im on the hunt for a good thyroid/adrenal support combo.
