Hello, here my my past left inner elbow history(also called Golfer's elbow)

due to a nagging golfer's elbow(inner elbow pain)Golfer's elbow - MayoClinic.com I've been having a situation with it on and off for two years intill it got so bad I had to see a specialist.I cannot do Chest, triceps, shoulders, biceps forearm or back width. I can do Deadlifts, Leg exercises, hamstrings, calves, traps, and the lateral shoulder machine.

I've tryed Cissus months ago, and fish oil which seems to help some; recently though it's been hurtful pain.

Ive been taking Bromlain .5 -2 grams a day-2400 gui's per 500 dose, whicb is strong stuff by NOW foods) Ive been doing this a couple months now

Flexall 12 % menthol before bed(before bed) Im replacing this with Lg science formula.

Exercises for it from Physical therapy. I stretch and do the Pt exercise's once daily.

I'm on Controlled Labs Orange Triad which has MSM, glucosamine, chondrition, and hydroluronic acid.

I was taking naproxen (Doctors perscription for forty days) that is over and mega dosing fish oil 10-20 per day) I now do six per day.

I have been selected as a tester for LG sciences/ Thank you LG!

Right now I'm in pain on even little movements like flexing my wrists. Turning my wrist. so in order for me to progress working my way back up to , lets say Incline bench press, I'll be testing whether or not these little simple movements are completely out of pain. Than I can test if the bigger movements are painfree(chest, shoulders i.e. the bodyparts I have not been working) The best way to let the injury heal is to rest it and do exercises that don't aggravate it. I feel since I stopped lifting my elbow is feeling slightly better. I'll be training Legs, deads, won't post these because the point of this log is to heal my Elbow so I can get it back to normal(healed)

Today I rubbed on my elbow and I'll be rubbing this liquid on twice everyday. Hopefully this stuff works. I'll be posting honestly and objectively and will be gauging by doing my exercise's and gauging pain tolerance. I'll be updating my experience.Thank's you for tuning in.

Im in bro goodluck!
thank you! and Thanks to everyone!

I just did my daily exercises which are:

heating pad warm up five minutes
stretch 30 seconds, over, than under
Light eccentric exercise thirty times(I use cans, when a campbell's can is not hurting Ill move up to a natty peanut butter jar, and onward, eventually I might can use five lber's , ten lber's etc)
Squeeze a squishy ball thirty times I can only squeeze it at about 60 % of my strength, farther than this and it hurt's
Wrist flex downward(no weights) thirty times (again I cannot flex hard or pain, light and very light motion)
Ice 5 minutes

pain got up to about a 3-maybe 3.5 on a scale of 1-10

When you mention "not much pain", how much less is that than before you started the treatment with lg's product?

EDIT:

On a scale of 1-10(worst) when starting compared to today?

Hey bro i had the same type of problem,i had the tennis elbow instead, and i try alot of things that dind't work and i finaly came accross a natural supp from the company "newchapter" the product is called zyflamend and its an antiinflamatory and it realy works after a month i was feeeling alot better and everything is ok and i aint takin it no more...Made out of 10 plants..And by the way they say in there literature that almond, red meat and some type of fish can aggravate the inflamatory problem,so i would be carefull with ur fish oil....Good luck!

ok two days ago the squishy ball exercise I could only squeeze 20 %. Any more and I felt pain . Yesterday I could go to about 80 % with no pain.

also the wrist flex exercise there was less pain and the ability to flex a lil harder.

I always thought fish ooil is an anti-inflamm by blounting production of pgf-2(which also compremised musclegrowth- esp in excess doses)

and Aronaic acid is a pgf-2(or some kind of prog)that is a pro-inflammatory and also better for muscle growth.

Btw this is the second time Ive heard fish oil may be bad for joints in there past two days, and I have never heard this before in all my five plus years into weightlifting/Bodybuilding Community. Would like to know where this information is coming and the references/research studies for it.

Like i said i had a brochure from newchapter company when i puchased there product:zyflamend(an anti-inflammatory made of 10 plants that realy works)and in the literature of the "brochure"there talking about certain red meat fish and almonds being bad for the inflammatory of joints etc...Check it out on there website the company's calld newchapter and the anti-inflammatory product is called zyflamend,

Because it no longer works....it's nothing new, it happened a year or more ago. I had to come off for a while to get the benefits back. That's basically normal for me and others.

from what I have read, you are suposed to cycle it anyway, I think 2 months on and 1 month off was something like the protocol I read...oh and the other I saw was for use during PCT only....still, did you cycle on and off?

Cissus works similar (or maybe the exact way) of fish oil,Fish oils and flax oils (omega-3's) lower prostaglandins and PGF2a
Omega 6 raise prostaglandins and PGF2a
N-saids (Ibuprofen, aspirin etc) blunt block prostaglandin production and in recent studies shown can halt MUSCLE HYPERTROPHY completely! (think about that next time you pop a Bufferin or Adv. that is why AA(X-factor) and contained in red meats and eggs, is pro PGF-2a, and has pro-inflammatory effects. It's really very simple , if you look at the science. So many people over analyze.

Went to my specialist today. he said to give it one more month of no use than try the exercises. If they hurt we'll go to the next step, which may be more layoff time. Hopefully It'll be healed and I can at least do chest press exercises. I can do laterals for shoulders(even though Id rather do heavy presses) and I can cut bi's and tri's and forearms. Time will tell. I know time off will heal it. Just how much time is the question. Being a bodybuilder it is hard to just watch your chest(and other body parts) not grow for any time alone.

I found a way to work my chest without pain I flex it as hard as I can. At least In getting blood in their and it feels intense.

Ive been using mustard that has t uremic in it.

light eccentric
squishy ball this is getting better; however, pain. got up to maybe 80 % today
wrist flex-ouch pain .
icing five minutes

Elbow has gotten better, although not healed. again to reinforce It'll take time, and I'm willing to give myself time because it is worth it in the long run.

I tested my Incline bench today with only 135, would have went up to 185 , no spotter. I warmed up with the bar, than 2(25's), then 2(45's) did it ten times without any straining of any kind. Very smooth light and easy, virtually pain free. The only time it did hurt is upon lift-off at the top and lockout. I had to get a spotter on the 145 to liftoff and rack it for me. Other than that I'm going to slowly start trying exercises and calibrate. Very Happy about this.Something was popping on the eccentric, either shoulders or elbow.

I just received two bottles of the LG Juice today and was curious as to how you are applying it since its liquid? Pouring into hand and massage in? Applying to cottonball? Just curious what others are doing. How much to apply? Just a thin once over or several quick applications?

Update: have been using the liquid everyday.

Today did Deadlifts no noticable pain.

Also did my exercises

Heating pad 10 mins
Squishy ball squeeze, still pain about a 3
wrist flex-This waS OK
iCEING 5 MINUTES

Im taking it slow and easy, not doing any exercises that would cause pain. My specialist told me (on july 1st) to start trying my exercises again. so i tried Dumbell flys-60 lbs and I felt ssome pain)

Tomorrow I think I'll try a shoulder press machine at the gym. There is a Physical therapist in training at my gym who helps me out.

Today I tried an elbow press machine. I did 110 10x's with no pain. shoulders fleet a bit sharp on the warm ups so i did some rotator cuff exercises. I know it's small but its a giant leap for myself. I can start using this exercise hopefully.

Today i did Gironda Dips and no pain.(I only did one set) My elbow has healed alot; although, im not going to push it, Im going to keep trying exercises and working my way up. I was reading Arnolds modern ENCYL and he says pain is an indicator of how well the injury has healed.

yesterday i tryed Incline bench press at 30 degrees(kind of a fat bar than what im used to) It put strain on my elbow, esp more wider grip)

also did concentration curls starting at 3 lbs than 5 lbs. at 5 lbs pain a 3-4

Did overhand dumbell forearms curls up to 3 lbs 5 lbs 8lbs ten lbs for ten reps-no pain

Did my physical therapy. I might have stretched it too much or too long

Today I woke up and it hurt and has been hurting today more than the last couple days.

I didn't put it on today yet or last night. getting on it now

Fantasic strategicmove thank you.

Elbow is slowly healing I tried clean and snatches with my own weights at my house, felt slight elbow pain. also standing dumbbell presses with 35's.

It seems when I eat red meat my joints ache so I have reduced the amount of red meat in my diet. I'm taking omega 3's daily and staying away from anything that causes pain. I am trying exercises , which my elbow specialist recommends, to gradually do them and calibrate.

I'm going to try light biceps and forearm's today. and will report back.

i have been using wobenzym n, it is helping me a lot. try googleing it. if you aren't using digestive enzymes i suggest you look into them, that might help with the red meat thing too. good luck.

Yeah I use digestive enzymes. Bromalian(sp) , I was using now's super digestive enzymes , it doesn't work too well with me, so i just use acidophilus which works well. I believe they are important every so often, especially when taking in mega calories.

Today I did db preacher bicep curls 10 lbs extremely slight pain(not much), than 15 lbs caused pain.

also did one arm cable reverse curl -5 lbs cause pain

any questions that you have please ask. I want to make sure I'm answering your questions and providing the best log possible.

Some good news is I can flex my wrist decently without much pain(sometimes any at all) That's an improvement since the beginning of this log. Little stuff like this all adds up in the grand scheme of things.

Today I did

smythe low incline I paid attention to form elbows tucked in(kind up up because your almost forced to) 45-10-5 each side test paused , no pain

as a shoulder exercise barbell high incline 25-test paused(didnt write these down) no pain

arnold recommendation handle on pulldowns 60-70's each side-pain-cannot do this exercise in till farther healing it caused pain

rack deads 275-10, 315 5x's no pain

elbow has hurt since I did the pulldowns applyed a good amount of lg liquid on and it's feeling better

also have been doing the stretched which are most important(got this from a Pt friend)

Im not even going to try triceps because I cannot do biceps and my tris got worked and I don't want my arms too out of proportion(tri's are already a decent-good gentic part while bi's are poor-decent genetically). I heard this Metaliica song today and was going to turn it off because I m into positive thinking and whatnot and thought about my genetics(like biceps for example) and just started laughing. Sad but true

Today did my physical therapy and it seems not improved dramatically. i have been trying exercises. I tried the biceps preacher curl machine at 10 lbs and felt pain and stopped. didn't even bother with forearms. I think This creme has helped by blocking out the nerve pathways thus far , which over time i can see where it is beneficial. This is just my guess. Tomorrow Im going to try some exercises and report back.
