On Monday April 7th I will start a four week cycle and log of 11-oxo (aka andrenosterone).

I will begin the cycle with 300 mgs. of 11-oxo daily, and will make any increases or decreases based on how I feel/results. However, this will not be an 11-oxo megadose log.

After the 11-oxo I will run AX's aPCT for four weeks.

I will run the 11-oxo along with:

Fish Oil 9-12 grams daily
Vitamin C - 2-3 grams daily
Glucosamine/Chondrotin/MSM (recommended dose)
ON Whey Protein
Muscle Milk before bed

I will be stopping my current regimine of Creatine Mono and Beta Alanine to run this cycle.

Stats:

Age - 29
Weight - 269
Height - 6'1.7"
Training Experience - approx. 7 years

Goals:

My goals are simple enough, lose fat while maintaining muscle. The reason I started training again in the first place was an attempt to rehabilitate my spine via strengthening my muscles and taking some strain off my back. I also wanted to lose some weight figuring that would help my back out as well. Thus far my training has helped my back pain, but I have managed to gain 19 lbs. in the process. Most of the weight gain is water and muscle, but my pants are fitting a bit tighter so its not all good.

Measurements

I don't know what my BF% is, I would guess its in the mid 20's, so I will have to gauge my progress based on measurements. My cold measurements are as follows:

Neck - 18.2"
Chest - 47"
Gut (at the fattest part) - 47.5"
Upper Arms - 18.8"
Forearms - 14.2"
Thighs - 26"
Calves - 16"

The vast majority of my bodyfat is stored in my lower abdomen, and it is an absolute ***** to get rid of. Granted, right now my stomach is bigger than it should be, the thinnest I have ever been was a 34" in the gut and I usually hover around 38-40"

I will try and post some pics for before and afters.

Training Program:

I train high volume, high intensity, and compound free weight movements are my bread and butter.

My split will be as follows:

Monday - Chest & Tri's & Forearms
Tuesday - Legs
Wednesday - Off (cardio)
Thursday - Back & Bi's & Forearms
Friday - Shoulders & traps
Saturday & Sunday Off (cardio)

I live very far away from the nearest gym, so I train at home. The only place where this hinders me is with cardio since it has to be done outdoors.

I don't know my 1 rep max on any lift, because I am injury prone. I will gauge any strength increases or decreases based on the amount of reps/weight I can get on a given exercise.

This is my first log, so I welcome advice/criticism in order to make improvements where necessary.

I'll be following. I like seeing the lower dosed adrenosterone logs since it is so damned expensive that's the only way I'll ever be able to run it...

Not just the expense (and maybe I am wrong here), but it seems like there are much better mass building compounds out there than 11-oxo at 700-900 mg daily. If my goal was to build more mass the PH/PS route I would either wait for 3-AD or go with the tried and true Epi compounds.

Since it takes over 6 weeks for creatine levels to return to baseline, do you think it would make more sense to just maintain your normal creatine regime as opposed to letting your creatine level to slowly taper off during cycle?

Day 1

Today I took my first 100 mg dose of 11-oxo with my breakfast. Within about 40 minutes of taking the 11-oxo I did notice a slight euphoric feeling, which is still lingering around. Its only noticeable when sitting still.

Todays workout was cut short by an unsettling pain in my left pec during my 3rd decline bench set. I had the same pain last week in the beginning of my chest workout, I attributed it to being not properly warmed up, but today I was definately sufficiently warmed up. Suffice to say the pain cut my chest work short, and I will take it very easy on chest for the next week or two.

My workout went as follows:

Chest

Incline Smith Press:
1x12 135
1x6 185
1x6 185
1x5 195
1x5 205

Decline Smith Press:
1x14 135
1x6 185
1x6 205 (on my 6th rep is where the pain set in)

Triceps (due to the pain in my pec I was unable to perform my usual close grip bench for tri's)

Skullcrushers:
1x10 85
1x9 85
1x8 85

Ez bar overhead extensions:
1x25 45
1x12 75
1x10 85

Forearms:
Palm up followed by palm down 1 set of 20 reps each

Reverse curls:
1x10 75
1x10 75
1x14 55

Other than the pec issue my workout went fine, and I felt really good. I kind of anticipated being a bit sluggish due to my coming off of beta alanine as a pre workout supp.

I had a good pump during and after the workout, but I cannot definately attribute that to the 11-oxo.

I will enter another log today if I notice anything worth reporting with my subsequent dosing of the 11-oxo.

Tomorrows log will come a bit later in the day as I will have to workout in the evening, other than that most of my logs should be ready around this time of day.

not to nit-pick or anything, but it is unlikely you took 100mg. looking at the bottle in front of me, 3 caps=225mg which=75mg per cap. log looks good though.:head:

I bought 2 bottles of Fast Action Pharma 11-test, its 11-oxo dosed at 50 mg per pill, and 1 bottle of Ergopharms 11-oxo which is likely the one that you are referring to.

Yeah my boys like it too, and of course their favorite character is Bender. They just recently released a new Futurama DVD called "Bender's Big Score" they are also slated to release two more DVDs. Afterwards they are slated to air these new episodes on either Cartoon Network or Comedy Central I can't remember offhand.

I haven't had the opportunity to work out yet today, I should be able to do so within the next couple of hours. After I do that I will update the log with how it went.

There are three things that I want to report on for the sake of being thorough:

I did not get a very good nights sleep last night, it was like I couldn't turn off basically. I cannot say for sure if it was the 11-oxo as I did watch the new Bond movie right before bed.

I also noticed a bit of hair in the sink this morning. I am almost certain that this is due to my being hyper-paranoid about this, but I am logging it just to make sure.

The third thing is that I did get a bit extra aggitated this morning about having to take an unexpected detour. However, this was probably due to my not getting a good night's sleep and worrying about my hairline  .

Again, I will return within the next couple of hours to report on my Day 2 workout.

Day 2

Today was leg day. My workout was as follows:

Squat:

1x25 135
1x20 185
1x20 195
1x20 225

As I noted earlier I work out at home, and as such I have had to improvise on some movements. The leg press is one such movement. I cannot afford a leg press machine, so I utilize my Smith machine to perform leg presses. This is probably not a good idea, and I don't recommend it for you. I will refer to this movement as the Smith Leg Press.

Smith Leg Press

1x15 205
1x15 205
1x9 255
1x9 255

Calf raises

1x30 205
1x25 255
1x25 255

and I finished up with numerous unilateral calf extensions that I don't feel like logging

I didn't notice anything different during my workout, but leg day is a tough day to judge because its always ends with my wanting to die every time I take a step.

I did notice that I couldn't finish my lunch today, and I haven't been very hungry since. After I finish on AM I have to go fix my meals for the week. Once I have my meals organized it will be easier to determine whether or not my appetite has been affected one way or the other.

My tentative plan is to run one entire bottle of 11 test at 300 mg daily to guage effectiveness and dosing. So that will be my first 10 days.

If I stay at 300 mg. I would like to try the 11-oxo at two 150 mg doses throughout the day for a couple of days to see how that works out. If everything is going well with the cycle and I decide to increase to 350/400 mg I will likely dose it:

11-oxo @ 150 mg twice daily
11-test @ 100 mg once daily

or

11-oxo @ 150 mg twice daily
11-test @ 50 mg twice daily

Today is a rest day for me, so no weights for me. I also will not be getting any cardio today as I have to help out at my parents house.

I slept very well last night, so it probably was "Casino Royale" that made it so difficult for me to sleep the other night. I am also still in possession of my pre-adrenosterone hairline

I am going to work with the AM diet tracker at some point during this log, but today I just don't have the time.

So far today I ate 1/4 lb. sirloin burger, no bread/bun, and for my second meal I ate a pepper stuffed with ground round. I am keeping things high protein/mod fat/low carbs.

Everything's cool so far, I am definately looking forward to seeing some results in the coming weeks.

i believe from reading logs, that 11-oxo kicks in fast compared to other ph's. i bet you will be seeing a decent increase in strength the first week or so. stl, posted his strength peaked at 2 weeks in. this should be good news, i am on day 11 of primal male and still waiting.

Looks good bro. I ran 11oxo @ 300mg ed and had great results. I leaned out really well. I did notice a peak in strength about 2 weeks in and then the gains just seemed to taper off. After the cycle was over I ended up losing 2 pounds and leaned up really nice. I believe that you will like this cycle, I did. The biggest thing I noticed on cycle was that I was constantly hungry. I couldn't get enough to eat and I still lost 2 pounds over 30 days. I know 2 pounds doesn't sound like much but it was very noticable looking into the mirror. Good luck. I will be following.

Day 4

Last night I went to sleep at 11pm, and was wide awake by 3:20 am....and that was all the that I managed to get. That makes two days of insomnia since on cycle, and I haven't had trouble sleeping in years (the only sleep trouble I ever had in my life was the year following my spine injuries, it is very hard to sleep when you back is hurting).

I gave this some thought, and I really didn't want to do this, but I really have no choice. I have to add another supplement to this cycle. I had a bottle of Powerfull that I was saving for a future RPM/Drive/Powerfull stack, but I started the Powerfull today. I will use it to get some rest tonight, and try not using it tomorrow. I really want, and I know you all do, to see what 11-oxo is capable of on its own. However, if I am not getting any sleep then I am not going to see much in the way of gains anyway.

Needless to say I had a rough workout, and I had little energy going into it. I felt strong considering just how tired I am, and I feel pretty confident in saying that I would have had a great workout if I wasn't so tired.

Workout - Back & Biceps

Deadlifts

1x10 135
1x6 205
1x5 255
1x4 255

Pullups

6x7

Reverse Grip Pulldowns

11x165
9x165
7x190

Biceps

Barbell Curls

1x11 55
1x10 65
1x7 95

Concentration Curls

2x7 30

Hammer Curls

2x11 30

I have a couple of photos to upload to this log. I took them today, I figured I better get them in before I start seeing results.

I want to lose fat while maintaining the muscle that I have regained since taking up weight training again. It is very tough for me to lose weight without giving up muscle, so andrenosterone is very attractive to me.

As far as working out at home, right now I do it as a necessity as the nearest gym is just too far away. Now I would much rather belong to a good gym, but I would rather work out at home than some craptastic fitness club.

For the most part working out at home is pretty cool. There are no dumbasses to deal with, no waiting for machines, and my music does not suck. The downside is that I don't much room to work with, and I need some more dumbbells. I primarily stick to free weights, but when I do need to use my smith machine or cable attachments they aren't nearly as good as what you would find in a commercial gym.

I followed your log, it played a part in my deciding on 11-oxo. I have been in and out of your new log, how are you liking LG's MMv2 product?

I am already contemplating what I will do next. At some point I will run:

an Epi compound( I am going to get this soon, even if I wait a while to run it)

I am torn between trying MMv2 and 3-ad next. I am always up for cutting , especially now, but I am still nowhere near where I want to be right now strength wise.

Decisions ,decisions

how long have you been training?
About 5 months now, but I am coming off a long layoff.

I started working out when I was 15-16, and was mostly self taught. I joined a small local gym when I was 18 and befriended the owner who was an ameature bodybuilder/regional bench press champion. He taught me how to train and eat properly, and I trained with him until I was about 22.

Once I started my career I stopped training consistently, and eventually I stopped training altogether. Then I hurt my spine and stayed layed up for a very long time.

I started training again around Christmas of '07 (with my Doctors blessing) in an effort to help eleminate my back pain. I started out really slow and easy, as not to further aggravate my injuries. Not only did the training help the pain, but I started rebuilding my muscles a lot quicker than I had anticipated.

I am still nowhere near where I was size or strength wise, but I am definately feeling much better.

Day 5

I took some Powerfull before bed last night, and I slept like a champ. I woke up feeling great, and it set the tone for the rest of the day.

I noticed today that my muscles are fuller, not so much pumped, but fuller. Anytime I eat a lot of red meat, which I am doing right now, they are a bit fuller, but today this is much more pronounced than usual.

As far as sides go everything is so far so good, no pimples, no shedding, and just a mild change in my temperament. I am a little more easily agitated today than usual.

On to the workout:

Shoulders & Traps

Hang cleans

1x7 95
1x8 95
1x5 115
1x5 115

Upright Rows

1x7 115
1x7 115
1x6 115
1x6 115

Standing Barbell Shoulder Presses

1x8 115
1x7 115
1x7 115

Shrugs

1x20 135
1x10 205
1x10 205

Todays workout was amazing. I had what I can only describe as "intense focused aggression". Its like I was pissed off at my weights and I wanted to eat their children (as Mike Tyson might say). I always make an effort to train intensely, but there was no effort today, I was just ready. Something kicked in big time today. I don't know if its the andrenosterone rearing its head, or the Powerfull, or a mixture of the two. All I know is that I like it.

Yeah no doubt about it. I take it easy on the movements that really stress my spine, and give my body lots of time to build up adequate muscle support and strength before I increase the weight on those lifts.

Day 7

Saturday and Sunday are off days for me, so no workouts to log. However, I do have my weight and measurements to post.

Last Sunday I weighed and measured myself before starting cycle:

Weight 269

Neck - 18.2"
Chest - 47"
Gut (at the fattest part) - 47.5"
Upper Arms - 18.8"
Forearms - 14.2"
Thighs - 26"
Calves - 16"

This morning my weight and measurements are as follows:

Weight 271.5

Neck - 18.2"
Chest - 47.5"
Gut - 47.2"
Upper Arms - 18.8"
Forearms - 14.3"
Thighs - 26.4"
Calves - 16"

So in summary I have a very slight reduction in my belly measurement, and slight increases in the chest, forearms, and thighs with a 1.5 lb. weight gain.

I was checking my workout journal while logging my new measurements, and found these measurements from Feb. 11, 2008

Weight 258.5

(no neck and forearm measurements available)

Chest - 48"
Gut - 48.5"
Upper arms - 18"
Thighs - 24.3"
Calves - 16" (my calves are just about impossible to grow)

This week I am going to change things up just a bit. On chest day I am not going to work chest, because of last weeks left pec pain. I would rather miss one workout than get injured and miss a dozen.

I am also going to do cardio after my workouts, as opposed to trying to do it on my off days. I am also going to reduce my carbs a bit.

As far as sides go, the only side that I can definately see is increased aggression. I had a great night of sleep last night without taking Powerfull before bed, so I hope that I do not have to rely on Powerfull as a sleep aid from here on out.

In March we had a family crisis that kept me away from the weights and off my diet for almost two weeks, but overall I am very happy with my progress thus far.

I need to lose some fat though, because I could easily put on another 15 -20 lbs of muscle before I get back to my prior form, and my body is definately getting there fast. I don't want to get to 280, 290 with my spine problems. The less weight my spine bears, the less pain I experience.

I was contemplating running Epidrol next, but based on my weight gain thus far I am definately leaning towards Furazadrol. I read some of your experiences with it, and that stuff is looking really good about right now.

If I could drop down to a lean 220-230, then I would be primed for an Epi cycle.

the first time i ran furazadrol i had killer results. ive ran it 3 times now and each time with diminishing results. but like i said the first time was real good, ran it with td formestane and lost around 10 pounds of mostly bf. ran diesel test hardcore on pct and continued to lean out. much as i love fura its time to change it up, this time will be mmv2/11oxo/formestane. might be nice to add furazadrol to your 11oxo and continue to run it for at least a month at 4-6 caps.

yes, and it is very good. but its the only ph that has raised my bp really high. i had good results but my blood pressure went through the roof.

I wouldn't mind running maybe another week of 11-oxo straight, and then adding a furazadrol or potentially a propadrol for 4 weeks. I just worry about properly augmenting my pct.

if you can deal with the bp then prop might be a good one, take it an hour before working out for a great workout boost, you can really feel it. the furazadrol is much more subtle. go with hdx2/pcs/lean extreme and dthc for pct, that should do nicely if you aren't totally shutdown. im running a log on primal male and haven't got much yet so i can't recommend it so far.

Monday April 14, 2008 Day 8

Today I upped my dose from 300 mg. to 350 mg. I will try this and see how it goes. If all goes well I may up to 400 mg. So far no real sides to speak of, other than I am a bit more irritable that I am off cycle. So far my libido hasn't been affected one way or the other.

I am definately noticing the adrenosterone right now, it feels like I am on something. My muscles are staying full and hard, and I am seeing veins that I haven't seen in a long time.

I did mess up my diet today though, via some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream with my wife and kids.

I skipped chest today, because of last weeks unsettling pec pain. But I did work triceps and forearms. I did the same work as last week, and kept the poundages the same. I am not going to log this workout because last week my tri's were not as fresh once moving on after my chest work whereas today I went straight to tri's. So it would be difficult to determine if I am in fact stronger in tri's this week than last.

So far I am really liking this cycle.

Tuesday April 15, 2008 Day 9

Lethargy, and back pumps. I am also rediculously thirsty, and have been since yesterday.

The lethargy may be caused from the sleep deficit that I am operating under, but the back pumps have to be due to the adrenosterone. The back pumps kicked in on my 3rd set of squats and they , coupled with the lethargy, made for a tough workout.

My workout went as follows:

Squats

1x20 135
1x20 185
1x20 205
1x16 225
1x10 225

Smith Leg Press

1x15 205
1x13 225
1x13 255
1x10 255

I couldn't motivate myself to do much more than a few calf extensions.

Tomorrow is an off day, and hopefully I will be nice and rested up for Thursday's workout

Wednesday April 16 2008 Day 10

I feel great today, got a good nights sleep last night, and couldn't be better. No sides to report. However, I am noticing a slight uptick in my libido since I have increased my daily dose to 350 mg. More good news is that I am looking a bit thinner in the torso, so the results are coming in.

Today is an off day, so no workout to log.

If all goes well I may increase my dose to 400 mg. next week, and add an extra week on cycle to allow for a tapering down as to hopefully avoid any potential cort rebound.

Thursday April 17, 2008 Day 11

Today's workout was back/bi's, and it was a killer! I felt very strong today, and had to restrain myself on deadlifts as to not hurt myself.

The only side to speak of are the back pumps that seem to come along when I am doing squats or deads. Other than that everything seems to be fine.

I find at 350 mg I have an increased appetite, and increased thirst.

My workout went as follows:

Deadlift
1x7 205
1x5 255
1x5 255
1x5 255 (last weeks workout I went 205, 205, 255, 255)

Pullups
1x8
1x7
1x8
1x8
1x8

One Arm Barbell Rows
3x9 50

Seated Rows
1x10 105
1x7 130
1x7 130

Barbell Curls
1x12 65
1x7 95
1x7 95

Concentration Curls (no rest between sets)
1x7 30
1x6 30
1x4 30

Friday April 18 2008 Day 12

My wife told me today that my stomach is getting flatter, so I will chalk that up to a result. Everything is still pretty much the same, no sides other than back pumps. Thus far the cycle is going quite well.

My lower back is hurting me pretty bad today, thankfully it seems to be muscle pain and not disc pain. I think the back pumps + the deadlifts did it.

With that in mind I augmented my workout today. Today's workout wasn't nearly as good as my usual shoulder workout, but it did the trick.

My workout was as follows:

Shoulders, Triceps, Traps

Shoulders

Military Press:
1x15 115
1x12 135
1x8 155
1x6 155
1x6 165 10 second rest 1x5 175

Front and Side Dumbell Raises:

2 sets of 10 reps each

Triceps

Close Grip Bench Press
1x18 115
1x12 135
1x8 155
1x6 165
1x7 175 3 seconds rest 1x8 175

Tricep Pressdown
1x20 70
1x18 70
1x12 90
1x12 90

Traps

Shrugs:
3x15 175

Next two days are rest days, and Sunday I will be taking weight and tape measurements to check for progress.

Monday April 21 2008 Day 15

Unfortunately I was unable to take measurements on Sunday, so I will wait until next Sunday to do so.

I am keeping my adrenosterone at 350 mg for the week. The only difference is that instead of dosing it 100, 150, 100 throughout the day, this week I am dosing it 150, 150, 50.

Still no sides to speak of other than the occasional back pump.

As far as my workout routine I generally like to hit either triceps or shoulders twice a week. Once with chest on day 1 of my workout, and again on day 3 of my workout. I have been hitting triceps twice a week for about a month now, so I will be training shoulders twice a week.

My workout today was fantastic, I felt very strong.

The workout went as follows:

Chest

Bench Press:

1x135 12
1x185 8
1x205 6
1x225 4

Incline Bench (smith machine):

1x225 4 rest pause 10 seconds between reps
1x225 4 rest pause 15 seconds between reps
1x255 2 rest pause 45 seconds between reps

Decline Bench (smith machine):

1x185 9
1x185 8
1x185 8

Shoulders

Military Press

1x115 12
1x135 8
1x135 8
1x135 8

Front & Side Dumbell Raises

1x20 7
1x20 7

Tuesday April 22 2008 Day 16

Today would be leg day, but due to some lower back pain I am going to skip legs this week. If I am able I will work back tomorrow, as opposed to working back on Thursday.
