  5. when there is something worth seeing still not too exciting. my mmv2 adventure turned into a nice lean bulk which was handy, but it means now that PCT is over I'm back to cutting to get the abs to show. getting closer though. i'm back down to 192, and looks like fat loss only

    i like these high volume super/triple set workouts, and they seem very effective. i'm totally wiped out in that body area after, and am still getting significant DOMS even 3 weeks into this routine. I haven't had DOMS other than maybe the first couple workouts after a week off in the last year.

  12. missed yesterday, and for some kooky reason decided to do shoulders today instead of back. I think i'll do back tomorrow if I dont feel too sore from shoulders, and then bis probably thurs. I need to get back to biking with my daughter some more, no time today

    I'll bet you get some fierce pumps in your delts from this routine don't you Easy? I love when I'm on-cycle and using super-sets and drop-sets and stuff. Those pumps are insane! But while I'm in PCT I just do heavy straight sets for a change. I can't wait to get back on a cycle. That sounds bad, doesn't it? Oh well!! lol I'm finding great pleasure in running and logging stuff!! THE THUNDERGOD

  14. yeah great pumps like this but my recovery time is sucking, the DOMS from saturdays workout is just starting to disappear today. They were bad enough sunday that I didn't want to do an evening back workout.

    Sadly, there's not much you can do for DOMS, except use it as a guide to how hard you're training and to guage how much cellular damage was done to the muscles you worked. I had an extremely intense Leg session last Friday, and I'm still feeling the soreness even now on Tuesday morning. Amazing!! I know I tore down those muscles, but good!! There's always Aspercreme or Bengay,and other pain rubs and liniments, but they don't really help too much. I guess we can only grin......and bear it! lol THE THUNDERGOD

    I get DOMS like its my job so Im right there with you guys. NOW foods makes an arnica gel that seems to work pretty well. I used it during baseball season on my legs if I'd catch a double header....seemd to help.

  18. sort of abbreviated back workout tonite, I more or less hit a wall where I was left with no energy to continue. it may just mean I already got a serious enough workout in by that point

    wide grip pulldowns superset with db rows 90x20 as warmup, 150x14-50x12, 150x12-50x15, 150x12-50x12, 150x6-50x8

    high rows 120x6 (not failure, but realized i'd never hit 12, 90x12, 90x12, 90x7

    and I gave up. it was sort of a combination of energy gone and forearm pumps that killed me. I had a couple tablespoons of vegetable glycerine preworkout with beta alanine + other goodies, so maybe that just got the forearms overpumped. oh well. i'll know tomorrow evening based on my DOMS

    ez curls superset with zottman curls superset with concentration curls 63x15-25x12-30x15, 63x14-20x12-30x13, 63x9-15x15-30x13

    and I felt like I had a good short bicep workout at that point. actually I tried the ez bar again and only got 6 up and said forget it had a nice pump going on for no pump agents in me other than normal daily dosings (earlier in the day) of neovar

  21. shoulders today, didn't exactly work out spectacularly. weights were down a little vs last week, but chest was sorer than last week as well. also seemed again to be forearm limited moreso than necessarily shoulder limited. anyhow

    db presses superset with vertical rows 40x10-63x10, 35x14-53x15, 35x12-53x13, 35x8-53x12

    coleman lateral raises superset with reverse flys 25x5 and knew I wasn't going to make it 15x12-15x15, 15x15-15x13, 15x13-15x14, 15x11-15x12

  23. its rough, heavy beta alanine dosing and lots of caffeine. actually the worst part is the pumps, that makes it really hard. most of the time i'm ending a workout because of forearm pump

    I don't really have a good way to perform bb deadlifts now (and I was never all that confident in my form). but I could do db ones

  27. the old age excuse doesn't work on me.

    db deads would be a start. just work w/lighter weight to get your form right.

    for me once i could do heavy deads and squats...my physique changed dramatically for the better.

  28. chest today, changing routine to high weight lower volume. still 5 sets, but target is 6-8 reps

    incline db press superset with incline db fly 50x8-25x8, 60x6-25x8, 70x4-40x6 (new pr on incline press), 65x0 55x6-30x7, 55x5-30x6

    decline machine press 90x8, 90x8, 90x8, 90x6, 90x5

    felt good to go back to working with heavier weights. I bet by the week after next i'll be doing 70 for 6, maybe able to hit 75x6 by the end of july.

  29. back today. found my hemodraulix too, wished I would have taken it yesterday for chest, almost (by end of this workout) wished i HADNT taken it today ferocious forearm pumps, plus lat + trap pumps

    wide grip pulldown superset with db shrugs 160x8-65x8, 180x8-65x7, 190x8-65x6, 190x7-55x10, 190x6-55x8

    high row 160x6, 160x5, 140x8, 140x6, 140x3

    and done, forearm + bicep pumps too heavy to really want to continue

  30. I've been seeing your strength continue to increase over the last couple of months! Especially on the Pulldowns. 190 X 8 is very strong! That's more than your bodyweight right now, isn't it? Keep up the good stuff Easy!! THE THUNDERGOD
