  1. Sorry to hear this champ. Some down time for sure with the legs. Do you feel that leg extensions are still a viable alternative in the interim?

funny you say that - i mimicked that motion when i was feeling things out this morning, no pain there (no weights of course but motion is fine).
i think i'll just shut wheels down for a week, this was my 2nd leg day in a 4-day span as i wanted to get a lil more frequency in, so i'm good with some rest for now.

  3. lil mid-day update here:
after feeling very ruff still this morning rising, i've made huge progress as the day goes on..worked some back/arms, got a good pump, no issues. since the workout, more mobility is coming back, i can stride normally now.
i won't be sprinting anytime soon, but improvement has been lightning fast, out of the blue..
    dig it.

  4. Strains and pains that effect your mobility are sometimes the most frustrating. It would effect my ability to work if my mobility was hampered. The fast healing is good to hear my friend.

    indeed my man.
things we take for granted, such simple things..

feeling almost 100% here this morning as healing speeds along..in fact, i played with the 125 DBs today, beating up my chesticles..was engorged, almost looked manly.

I am glad u are healing at a fast pace. I know what u mean when u said that we take things for granted such as our health.
  7. three weeks in on 1-Alpha

all right, so 3 weeks in yesterday..
groin all healed up, feeling good this morning, weighing 206 upon rising, couple lbs up..strength up on all lifts across the board (no PRs, not trying for those; rather, the weights i use in specific rep ranges have all been moved up). i think i've gotten a pretty good feel for this 1-Alpha, now we're going to take it to another level..
    the stack now becomes:
2 caps 1-Alpha + 1 cap M-Sten Rx upon rising; same dosing @10hrs later w/ a meal. this will encompass the next 4 weeks, altho i may add some DAA in at some point toward the end. i'm also trying to work some 550XD in there, but this stuff is like a rare bird right now, tuff to get ahold of..exemestane and PCT Black remain remain on hand if needed - have not used yet.
caloric intake ranges from 3000-4000 daily, depending on where i'm at in my ebb/flow (i might drop to 2800 on a low-cal non-workout day).
oh - and the dreaded night sweats have been absent now for 3 days.

  8. everything rolling along very well..
physique changes anew since i've started the M-Sten, without doing anything different than what i been doing or changing the plan. very quick..
libido is jacked thru the roof (thought it was starting to lag from 1-Alpha but last 2 days it's making strong comeback, i'll credit M-Sten since this always happens to me early on in cycle, when i just start something new), strength and pumps are great (1-Alpha been good), body and joints feeling lubed and flexible (Achilles is awesome), energy nice and explosive in the weightroom (Ignite2, love it)..

    i am feeling quite righteous.

    training has been:
    MON - arms/abs
    TUE - quads/hams/calves
    WED shoulders

today will be back and some abs..gonna flare them lats like king cobra.
it's gonna be a beautiful day.

  9. snags today, feeling nice & thick.

  10. bonus coverage>>> food porn.

    onion bagel/whole egg/slice 2% cheese/5oz 96% lean beef

  11. ..another 500cal meal

  12. Snags, following your logs from thread to thread is like a game of 'where in the world is Carmon San Diego'

With that said, whenever I'm feeling blah about my diet. I can reference you and your meals to see what eating clean can do! Not to mention you throw some nice "off the beaten path" meals that look great but are still awesome off-season "clean" meals

  15. 4 weeks in..

all right so we're 4 weeks in total: first 3 weeks on 1-Alpha alone, the last week on 1-Alpha + M-Sten.
mostly good things to report..workouts have been great, strength at high levels..libido at a nice level.
muscle pump all day long. mood has been decent, lethargy has been non-existent..........until now that is.
this last day or two i seem to be lagging a tad. and today, i had some lower back pumps creeping on. nothing major, but i was sure aware of it let's put it that way. so, we'll keep an eye on that.
as for growth - been pretty outstanding i think. but that presents a problem too..i awoke today at 208, and it's like i crossed a threshhold and feel too big, too inflexible. i need to shift the diet again (and am doing that today), should be fine. i'd rather stay at this weight and recomp than get any bigger i think.

making a shift in the training, will look like this:
    1 - quads/calves
    2 - chest/tris (abs opt)
    3 - back/hams
    4 - shoulders/bi (abs opt)
thinking 4 on/3 off, with off days scheduled when i need them rather then a set day.

so today, did quads/calves (was supposed to be off day, will make that tomorrow instead)
did some pulley crossover work as well, been awhile since i've done that.

  16. currrent, flexed & unflexed.

  17. some protein pancakes today.
    (recipe from earlier)

    another bagel sandwich. this one:

    1 onion bagel
    5oz 93% lean ground turkey
    1 whole egg
    1 slice 2% cheese
    3 slices black forest ham

    thing was absolutely delightful.

  21. thanks fellas!

@bean5er - you just must not have had the ground turkey made properly.
while i'm a beef man no doubt, love me some ground turkey too.

so no lethargy this morning..in fact, was hellbent on getting some gym action on.
decided on a simple arm session (since it was an off-day), looked like this.

standing BB drag curls + tri-focused dips
preacher EZ bar curls + close-grip bench
standing reverse BB curls + seated forearm curls
    (no supersets, just casual transitions)

pump was just ridiculous. i feel hyooge.
when my arms start getting blocky, i know there's some good growth going on under there..
will be interesting to see how things look after all this, when i peel it back down.

quads recovered fairly well from yesterday.

  29. WEEK #5 SUMMARY

five weeks in now on 1-Alpha (last two weeks stacked with M-Sten)
getting a bit more of lethargy these last couple days, is worst today. workouts have still been good, but it's been an effort to get going these last 2 sessions..once i get going, i'm good.
still have a ridiculous muscle pump all day long - as well as back pump here and there, still nothing debilitating.
mood has been good, pretty even keel i'd say. (haven't snapped lately lol)
weight is holding ~ 208. it was cool yesterday tho, when i had some shoes & clothes on (jeans & sweatshirt), jumped on the scale and it said 220. i know 12lbs worth of attire and food in my belly right? still cool tho.
diet wasn't quite as on point as i had planned this past week, so i am stepping things up a bit for this next week..
my plan is to take cals down before pct, then i will bump cals up again..well, that's that plan anyway.

    pic from this past week.

  30. so it was the cleanest-eating christmas for me since, well....actually i think it was the cleanest, period.
i said it before and i'll say it again - i am on a mission.

interesting weight session this day, as i did hams/bis/tris. this is not a combination i use often at all, and tho i am (loosely) following my training regimen, the plan itself allows for variation as needed. which is cool - cuz i like to continuously shake things up anyway.
    felt great today!

i have added exemestane and stano to the mix for these last two weeks of cycle.
