:::About Me:::

Whats up AM... Im new around here but enjoying the site thus far and all that it has to offer. Tons of knowledgable peeps with quality posts on here. Thought i'd start a log to give back in part from the knowledge that I picked up on here plus a generous prize I won from the USPlabs forums. My name is Monte, I weigh 183lbs +/- 2lbs depending on diet/training days at just under 6' by about 1/8th of an inch. Studying Chemical Engineering at KU and a key manager at Vitamin Shoppe in KC. Im currently training fasted following IF protocols but soon to be following USPlabs FTP regimen. I typically consume around 2300kcals a day average unless its a leg day where I usually consume closer to 2500/2600kcals. My goal is to build lean muscle mass while losing body fat. So far I've gone from 155lbs in January 2012 to where i'm at now. I've significantly reduced my body fat and i've added a sh$% ton of muscle compared to what I used to have lol. I've implemented USP product this whole year. One of my favorites has been PRIME. I grew pretty quickly the first couple months this year utilizing PRIME and it's been a lasting size and strength that hasn't diminished over time. About a month ago I won a contest on USPlabs' forums for a year supply of 2 products of my choice thanks to Jacob and Casey. I chose my favorite PRIME and AP as my GDA.

:::My Stack:::
The goal for this stack is to get a full 8 Week cycle on DAA. I've ran USPlabs Test Powder twice now and can't explain how much I'm diggin this product... that ALPHA feeling that I experience from this is incredible... So why not figure out a way to run it for 8 weeks right? So here's my stack....

So I got all the tools I need... now on to my training. All summer long i've workout doing a 5 day split style 3 days on 1 day off, 2 days on 1 day off focusing on a major area each day... sprinkling LISS cardio on legs days and in between. This week however, I've decided to change up my routine. I picked up on Kris Gethin's DTP off bb.com and am running that for 8 weeks to see what kinda of results I will get. This is a pretty tough routine for me right now just because all summer long my body was used to lifting reps of 8-12. Now i'm doing supersets with reps as high as 50! It's kicking my a$$... especially leg days. This routine is a bit unconventional but i'm willing to take a chance on it and see how I fair out on it.

Notes: Started off with several minutes of deep stretching. Really working on loosing up the muscle fibers in my legs. Focusing on any and every knot in the hammys and quads. This took about 15mins to really feel nice and loose. My hamstrings have been very tight lately I think mainly due to heavy deads on Fridays. The leg press work started out pretty solid. It was fairly easy to knock out 50 reps and 40 reps. When I got to 30 reps at 270 I really started to feel the burn late in the set. Lets just say on the way back up I had a serious gut check. I nearly gave up and left for abs about 2 different times. It was a battle to get all those reps out. How much of a battle you ask? Its now Thursday and i'm still walking like I got something stuck up my a$$.. Im sore as hell... and thats with me down Modern BCAAs all day like i just got pulled out of a desert. Absolutely brutal. But I like it!

Note: Last day using Jack3d Micro and it was a beauty... Had an Insane pump! Felt nice and strong and had plenty of energy to power through the workout. By the time I was getting to traps, everything was really blasted. Chest. blasted.. Lats. blasted... Traps. blasted... it was a good feeling. Im still pretty sore today... still really sore in my legs but it's getting better. Loving this DTP so far.

Supplemented with Yok3d, Modern, AP and Prime today as Im taking a 4 week stim break. I've been using stim based pre-workouts pretty heavily this summer 5 days out of the week. I really started to feel the taxing effect it had on my CNS and adrenals this last month. Started feeling fatigued after 9 hours of sleep. So this break from stims is obviously much needed. After the first 6 days, i'm starting to feel pretty good again. Hopefully it will be a quick rebound.

Notes: Lol i made the "mistake" of dosing 4 yok3d on a leg day again... OMG! Freaking quad pumps like it was nobodies business... and whats even more crazy.. veins in my arms were popin when i wasn't evening using my arms! The first few sets were a little easier than last week... but overall this workout is still kicking my butt... The sheer amount of reps is insane! Awesome workout never the less... soaked with sweat... sweat right through my black USPlabs shirt in the gym.

I've been mixing my bulk DAA with bcaa's at night right before I go to sleep... seems to be an easy vector for me to get that down... fruit punch flavor is delish. Also works well for masking the flavor of bulk ALCAR... noticed some nice nootripic effects from that... great for studying. Yok3d has been getting me through workouts quite nicely.. I'm holding strong to staying stim free... its been a week so far and i'm feeling better and better each day.. can't wait to see what Jack3d Micro feels like once i'm a stim virgin again here in 3 weeks

Supplementation: today was on point. 4 Yok3d 60mins prior to smash along with 2g bulk ALCAR. 1 AP and 2 PRIME pre-workout in fasted state... Sipped on 4 scoops Bulk Modern Grapple in my 2.2L jug intra and post. Had 4 PRIME, and 1 AP with lunch today and 4 PRIME and 1 AP, 100mg P-5-P, 200mg DIM with Dinner. Dosed ~3g DAA bulk powder with 1 Scoop White Blue Raspberry Modern BCAA in 10oz water tonight along with 2 PowerFULL... bout to get the best deep anabolic sleep... LEGOOOOZzzzzz

Dosed 4 Yok3d 2.5 hours prior and 2.5g ALCAR, 1 AP, 2 PRIME, 1 Scoop WBR ModernBCAAs 30min prior to working out. Sipped on 4 scoops WBR Modern BCAA's intra. All I can say was that I had the BEST... I mean the ABSOLUTE BEST! arm pump i've had in a LONG time. Im talking better than Micro pump... it was unreal how hard Yok3d had me pumped. It was beautiful.

Had a solid workout today. I feel like more eyes are on me at the gym... oh wait.. it's probably the TEST Powder t-shirt that I was rockin at the gym. Everybody wants some of that USP swag! But aside from that I had a nice shoulder pump today even though I didn't dose my Yok3d correctly today. Dosed Yok3d about 45min prior and 2.5g ALCAR, 1 AP, 2 PRIME and 1 Scoop of WBR ModernBCAA's 30mins prior and sipped on 4 scoops WBR Modern BCAA's during training in a 2.2L H20.

Had 12 PRIME (4 with each meal), 2 100mg DIM, 2 50mg P-5-P, Fishoil today. Dosing ~3g DAA and 2 PowerFULL tonight prior to sleep w/ 1/2 Scoop Fruit Punch Amino X (for the flavor... not so much the amino's)... its a sample tub I got here at the crib... it was free and taste like cool-aid so what the heck.. why not? It makes it easy to get these bulk powders down the hatch.

Making up for yesterday's miss due to heavy workload this weekend.

Had a sick training session today... its been a few days since i've made it to the gym with a busy class and work schedule. Had some tests this week so my priorities were focused towards that. Needless to say I survived the week and back crackin at the gym today.

Nice and solid feeling throughout the chest and traps. Love that feeling with Yok3d in the mix. Feels too good coming back to the gym from a short break. Can't believe its been 3 weeks off stims... one more week and I get to start up Jack3d Micro again... aaaaand TEST POWDER!

I'll be honest... i've been a little disappointed with the bulk DAA... Yes i do feel my strength coming together a little bit, but i'm not getting that ALPHA feeling that I do experience with Test Powder. I am getting better recovery, but again.. the feeling that I get off Test Powder is unparalleled. I look forward to running MicroTest in a week from Sunday.

Aight fellas its time for another update! I've been slacking here a bit... Last week was my final week of Bulk DAA. Final thoughts comparing it to Test Powder.... BIG DIFFERENCE... In my honest opinion, stacking Bulk DAA with, P-5-P and DIM doesn't even come close to the feeling of Test Powder.... USP has really created something special in Test Powder. Not once did I get that Alpha feeling like I do with Test Powder... not once. Now I did experience a few things. My strength did increase... this is a good indicator of test boost... I was a tad bit moody... my body fat is still on the decline. So all these are signs that the DAA is working. The ALCAR did seem to help with the focus factor while I was stacking that with Yok3d. So that was nice while on my 3&1/2 week stim/caffeine free diet.

Changes:
Stomach is getting leaner and leaner each day... im losing that muffin top! Still maintaining my size and improving my strength. Down from 183lbs to 177lbs.

Training Changes:
Ok lets be honest... Im sick of DTP. I've never lost my drive/ my motivation to workout because of a lifting routine before. Last week I finally figured out why I was losing that urge to go to the gym... I was sick of lifting the same thing over and over and over again. I may have mild ADHD lol so keeping me limited to 4 movements for an hour was a bit of a task for me. Hence why I became bored with lifting. So I made the decision to go back to Ripped Strong by Dex. Plus... what kind of routine ignores Squats and Deadlifts??? Seriously?! Those should be staples in everybody's routine.

Supplementation...
Thursday I started Micro... I needed that motivation Micro delivers... I needed that energy.. that feeling. Last night I took my first dose of Test Powder.. Lets get the Alpha train f'n going! So BOOM! Im back on MicroTest.... sticking with my run with Prime at 10caps training days/6 off days and AP on heavy carb meals and Pre-workout.

Very nice! Solid workout man. Next time through keep the weights the same. Try to hit more reps on the sets @185 and 135. Ideally you want to hit closer to 16 reps on your first of 135 and closer to 12 on your first set at 185. For instance, last time I did that workout, I hit 120 reps total. Good mornings feel terrible after that many squats huh? Really good work though man.

I hear ya bro... I actually goofed on my first set and realized that I didn't have the right weight on there... Also did an extra set of 185 on accident. (Obviously I was still not completely awake this morning lol). Ill shoot for more reps all around next week. After dead lifts Monday and squats today, my legs are shot. Those good mornings were hammering my hams and glutes after all those squats. It was a solid session. I will say I don't fear it but if anything ill probably be fearing the soreness lol. Thanks for the workout! I dig it.

Thursday... Rest... Legs after Monday and Tuesday were toast... DOMS really kicked in last night and this morning. Good thing I had a nice workout today to get the blood flowing and recovery activated.

Still fasting. Will have a protein shake here in about an hour or so. Definitely feeling good on this extended DAA run. I need to implement more cardio. In light of that, doing very minimal cardio and i'm still getting some leaning out in my mid region. I really attribute that to the AP paired with the LCLT in Test Powder. My diet is still staying on point. Trying to add more CHO's to the diet while staying lean... LOVE AP!

Ok this log is getting put on HOLD. Got picked up for the Patent Anabolic test by USPlabs. I'm stopping Test Powder, Prime, and AP as of last night. Will resume back on this post-Patented Anabolic. Thanks for checking this out. I will link my log when it gets up and running on here soon.
