    My training partner brought in a SSB attachment, so I'll be using that to replicate deadlift till at least June 1st. I liked it, weighs about 15lbs I'm guessing.

  18. That's an incredibly good ****ing idea, man. One thing I've heard about pin squats is that Chad Smith recommends singles with about 30s rest to totally eliminate stretch reflex, but ****, you're still breaking eccentric and concentric.

    Supposed to be 2 board bench, but no boards and slingshot ultimately accomplishes the same goal. 225 with the slingshot was DE, fast as hell. 275 felt light and is a PR, could have done 5 with the slingshot.

    Ran/judged/loaded university powerlifting meet yesterday, was dead and my back is shot. So skipped my planned oly squats.

    I see his point, but like you said, it's a clear break between the two phases, plus I'm following the cube program as if I'm deadlifting.

    Just 1 second pauses to simulate a fast press command, last few reps I typically do 2-3 second pauses.

    I've never had a problem with pauses as I'm much stronger off the chest than at lockout.
