I see that PR. Good work, especially that deep into a workout.

Thanks, I didn't do as well as I was hoping but I placed 12th of 37 overall, and had the fifth best deadlift.

No, no. My benches at the meet were a shorter pause than what my brother called for. For my unsanctioned meet, they called press as soon as the bar touched, but I didn't anticipate for fear of looking like a jackass.

Good bc my bench is weak, and I still have some technical flaws. I'm just going to get on the board and have some fun, then build from there.

Single, USAPL is only single ply and raw.
@herderdude: Ha, thanks man. The suit makes the wheels look big.

Yes, USAPL, and yes, very long commands. It was nationals as well, so very strict, I saw many people bomb out.

Long commands don't affect me as I have so much strength off the chest, and I train up to 5second pauses in training.
@rob: let me know if you want any feedback or critiques on lifts.

Anyone who has a journal here or just wants feedback, I'm glad to post or help, just let me know.

Absolutely! I just started a four week training cycle for a strongman comp, and I have my first full power meet two weeks after that comp. I plan on taking openers and possibly second attempts in the week after the strongman event and just going in and having some fun. I'm beginning to dabble in gear and may do a geared meet whenever I have enough experience in the stuff.

    Here's my log:

Want to do a raw meet unless a buddy wants to do single ply with me, and then I'll cycle that back into it my training.

Looks like I'm still weak as hell from the meet, had to take 2 breaks to finish the rep set. Erectors right at the base feel like **** during and after. Oh well.

480x2x3 block pulls weren't going to happen, hopefully I'll be normal by next week.

So pumpeddddd. Caff free FXT is a nice addition to Condense, flavor is watermelon punch and got the tunnel vision focus.

Skipped the prescribed x4x25 band press down to save my elbows.

Cool to see you're on the Cube also, as your log is always detailed. I'm a couple weeks in on my second cycle of it.

I swear, the accessory lift on the Cube is always harder. I kept that in as I switched up my training, because it works.

    I'd agree.

    Dry AM 200.4
    Fasted cardio this morning.

    HIIT

    135x5
    225x3
    +belt

As much rest as it took b/t my partner and I each squatting, switching the weight, and immediately under the bar.

    Reverse Band SQ

    DB Swing

All sets were done pretty fast with little rest, just switching the weight back and forth for each other and helping another buddy. Wasn't that bad today, everything after the reverse band squats was light.
