I had a good farmers tan before I went down and came back as a freakin' lobster! That was probably the worst sun burn I ever had!

    Day 8, March 22, 2012

Chest workout again today. It was not as thorough as last week's routine but still got a good lifting in. Felt good all the way through. Strength has been good as well as energy. Have been getting some zits on my back more than normal and even had one on my face. Not a nasty one, just a little one that went away fairly quick. Libido is up a little -- waking up with the morning timber more. That's right, I said TIMBER not just wood! LOL! Anyways, on to the routine.

    Flat bench
    135x15
    205x10
    225x5
    245x5
    265x5
    275x3
    205x10
    185x10
    135x20

    DB flies to Press (flat)
    40x10 x10
    45x10 x10
    55x5 x5
    65x5 x5
    70x5 x5

    DB flies to Press (incline)

    35x10x x10
    40x5 x5
    40x5 x5
    45x5 x5
    55x5 x5

And that was it. Didn't really notice much of a pump in this session but I didn't dose it in time. It was only about 10 minutes before I lifted. I got busy at work and lost track of time.

    Day 9; March 23, 2012

Felt pretty strong today and focus was good and strong too. Cool thing was that I was the only one in the gym except for a lady on a treadmill. No waiting, no fuss, just me getting things done!

    DB shrugs
    50x20
    60xx20
    70x10
    75x10
    80x10

    Seated rows
    hammer grip then normal grip
    100x10 x10
    115x10 x10
    115x10 x10
    130x5 x5
    130x5 x5

    Behind neck pull downs
    85x10
    100x10
    115x5
    130x5
    145x5

    DB Rows
    50x10
    60x5
    70x5
    75x5
    80x5

Another short routine for me but it was only working the back so it was a good one.

Didn't lift today. Spent most of the day building a shed roof off the back of my house. Will eventually build a new deck under it but not today or anytime soon. I got it built, plywood on, tarpapered and shingled by myself so not too bad of a day. I'm glad it's done and I can relax a little bit now!

Got good news at work that we will be able to go back to 10 hr days! Love the overtime pay! Helps pay for these projects I keep getting into! Lol! I know right at first, the 10's are gonna suck but hopefully I get used to them again quickly.

The deck (if you want to call it that) on the front of my house is only 4' wide the length of the house but the dumba$$ that built it used plywood for decking! I'll hand it to them that they used treated plywood but it's plywood just the same. Can't wait till that comes up on the top of the list of things to take care of! Problem is that I've built some pretty awesome decks for people and I have high hopes of what I want mine to be like but the price of doing it just seems to get in the way! ---Like most things!

    Day 12; March 26, 2012

Arms today and also some chest for the fun of it. Once I got done and went in to the house where my wife was waiting on me to go home, she looked at me with big eyes. I asked what that look was all about and she said, "You're really pumped in your arms and chest! WOW!" Hehehe! I like it! Didn't do much volume on the lifts but held the weight at the top of each lift with a hard flex for 4-5 seconds each rep. Not on the bench though.

    Bench
    135x15
    185x10
    225x5
    245x5
    265x1
300xFAIL was feeling nice and strong and wanted to go for a max---didn't work :-(
    275x1
    225x9

    DB Tricep press
    45x10
    50x10
    55x10

    Db preacher curl
    30x10
    40x10
    50x10

    Straight bar pushdowns
    84x15
    84x15
    84x10

    Hammer curls
    35x15 each arm
    40x15
    45x15

Short routine but really blew me up good and got a great pump. Energy was good but not great. First day back to 10 hours at work so this wasn't a big surprise to me.

Been walking around today with a residual pump from last night. I like it but the guys at work might get a little intimidated by it! I have to do a little boobie-dance show for em every once and a while! The ground's gotta shake a little when the guns are fired! Hahahahaha!

Well I will say that I am glad to be back on 10 hr days but the time that it lets me get to the gym sucks!!! Aggression was definitely up today- all day. It got worse when I got to the gym. Very crowded and difficult to get anything done. Got my leg press, weighted lunges and seated leg curls in before I had enough and had to get out. Came home and took my daughter on a 2 mile walk in her stroller. It was good father/daughter time! She got to see the cows, the horses and some wild turkeys.

Anyways, on to the lifting. Got another PR on the leg press and on the lunges!

    Leg press to calf press
    4 plates x15. x20
    6x10. x15
    8x10. x15
    10x5. x10
    12x5!! x10!!

    DB lunges
    30lb each handx10 each leg
    40x10
    45x10
    55x 10!!

    Seated leg curls
    100x20
    115x10
    130x10
    145x10
    160x5

Was very happy to get the new PRs! Even though it was an abbreviated session, once again the pump was great! Dosed D-pol 30 min prior to lifting on an empty stomach. Seems to work a lot better this way than with meal 90 min prior.

The pump is really showing up good now even with lower reps. Of course, I have been squeezing the muscle at the peak of contraction and holding it for 2-3 seconds. Chest is very pumped from this and looks as though I am really flexing just relaxing.
