Huge thanks to Controlled Labs & APS for their pick to give these a run. I’m a huge fan of each of these companies & very much looking forward to see what each of these new supps bring to the table as I continue on the heels of a successful XFA recomp/run.

Weight (as of 3-10) 171

Diet: basically the same as I’ve been following the last 2-3 months (higher pro/mod-mod high carb/mod fat), just adding some more cals in postWO and pre bed time frame. I’ve never thought of myself as an ecto/hardgainer considering I was a very obese kid/teen...and considering I spend 9 hrs a day at a desk job, but putting on some LBM has proven to be a challenge and I’m eating at least near the 3k+ (cals) mark...

Training: will be spending at least a couple weeks in a heavier/lower rep range (using rest/pause for a few sets & possibly ending with a FST-7 style to end each workout), split as:

M- Back/Tri
T- Legs
W- kenpo/cardio/core
Th- Chest/Bi
F- Quads/Sh/traps
Sat- cardio/core
Sun-off

I was given the green light from JD & RR to run these simultaneously (‘sweeeet’)....I rec’d the Purple psyKO today and will begin to use tomorrow...the Testalensis100 should be rec’d by end of this week. Will make a gynormous notation when that is added into the mix.

Notes: First off, had a great mind/muscle connection going on (current PreWO is Animal Rage) and really pushed through the entire workout. A few times after the lunges/squats supersets, legs were jelly and nearly fell down.

Purple PsyKo- I dosed 2 scoops, intra. I believe if today is any indication of how psyko will help perform, then g-g-iddy up! Noticed longer time to reach buildup of lactic acid and was able to hold positions thru movements for longer than I’d been able to.

Mixability- I think I used 32oz water (however big the APS shaker is), all dissolved, no clumps or residue left on the bottom.

Taste- ‘purple fruit punch’, although have grown tired of fruit punch as a flavor generally speaking, I wasn’t thrilled about the idea of this for psyko, but have to say, it’s way better than I expected & I very much enjoyed it. It has more of a tangy fruity flavor...esp refreshing thru-out the workout & since it has the hydrolyzed whey, it has more ‘body’ than just bcaa/eaa’s....

Effects- so far so good!...as noted above, looking forward to any accumulative effects.

Worth noting: I workout first thing in the AM, fasted and usually shoot for 25-30g of Bcaa for intra...Approved by RR, I’ll be adding in some extra bcaa/eaa’s from here on out, mostly BC+EAA, that I have on hand.

Was so 'psykd' to blast out some Kenpo+/core work today...even after having been booted from my bed at 4am due to my 2 year old climbing bed and being a noisey sleeper...went upstair to sleep another hour & setting my cell phone alarm...getting up at what I thought was 5...was actually 6 b/c for some reason my cell phone screwed me and had dropped back an hour to pre- DST :think:
went ahead and popped the disc in, mixed up 1 scoop PurPsy & a few scoops bc+eaa & managed to get in a kickace workout for a good 35-40 mins....included some light shoulder work to get em pumped, chin hangs & hanging leg lifts...breezed right through it...reading up on CM & norvaline...might try out using white flood tomorrow preWO...
...which reminds me...more thanks CL for the included samps with the PurplePsyko!! Love it! At some point will try the purplepsyko/purple wraath combo...

How are the pumps you are getting with PsyKO?
I think will be getting better as I'm shifting into adding in some FST-7's in each workout to pump it up....and need to toss in a diff preWO, as Animal Rage has no N.O. properties...but even that taken into consideration, the pump has been noticable, feeling full during the workouts...

Subpar workout today...full house, minus Uncle Jesse...for those 'Full House' fans out there ;)

Worked Calves/Quads, which went very well...then moved onto shoulders, actually presses went well...threw in some lat raises, sucked...shrugs, used the HS shrug machine was ok, wound up doing some deadlift into shrug, which was good...finished with some machine rear delt flyes, good. Going to modify a friday workout, keep calves/quads/DL/shrugs/shoulder presses, R delt flyes...then move side delts/upper traps to my Kenpo/Sat workout...think that'll work much better....

PreWO today used white flood, then 2 scoops psyKO intra...good stuff...was really pushing through some sticking points on leg presses...and shoulder presses...

How long or how many workouts have you been doing this with so far? Have you found the effects accumulate over time?
Week and a half so far. I have found the effects of PsyKO to be cumulative.

Pump/vascularity increased for me dramatically over that period. Endurance was immediately obvious, but has since slowly increased. Recovery has increased quite well over that time period (less DOMS etc)

I have been running 2 scoops the entire time.

Did some kenpo/side delts yesterday at home...my mom has been down visiting since last sat...so I’ve enjoyed quite a bit of the tasty treats all week as a result...most notably monster cookies, oooooh buhdee...homemade monster cookies are simply the bomb! and a close second is a Banana-nut-cranberry-coconut oil muffin, with freshly ground whole wheat flour.

Standing calf is a personal favorite
I've read that if one doesn't lock their knees while doing them, it gives a similar training effect to that of the seated calf raise...have you found this to be true? I have double jointed knee joints so locking them out all the way doesn't tend to fair well with my lower back...

Notes: Had great moments and had ‘meh’ moments...HS row was being used & wanted to use skullcrushers for the 7’s on Tri’s but benches were full...oh well. preWO had scoop of Rage, ½ scoop of cryoshock, 1 packet of Green Mag, 2 scoops PsyKO Intra...again great pump...still feeling ‘large’ n pumped right now....is his how a Plumper hot dog feels after being microwaved? Hmmm, I can only imagine yes. I’m going to crack open a tub of Mesomorph starting for tomorrows workout...the pumps are only gonna get crazier!!! Especially coming up now with Testalensis IN THE MIX!! Muwhahah...

will hop on the scale in the morning for a 'beginning' weight....

I've been more 'aware' of keeping my knees near lock on standing calf raises, can tell a diff in the feel of them....

I'm still 'perfecting' the 7's in my workouts...tell me this...when you do yours...are you just doing rapid fire reps? how many reps, 7?...10? more? Depends on the exercise/body part, but I seem to have somewhat of a subconscious mental block about going 'too fast'...too many years of having 'slow negative speed' drilled into my head...

Fri 4-8-11 Legs/traps, somewhat

Was a 'hodge-podge' day after some killer Leg sets..started with calves... FST-7 on leg Ext moved to some supersetting of front quats, lunges and back squats, which I haven't done in a long time due to pain in shoulders/shoulder joints when doing them but have been focusing on back and rhomboids the last 6 months.
should have stayed in the half rack to work DL's and military press...but ventured out and wound up fighting the crowd....but got in some HS DL's (trap machine), cable shrugs, LF shoulder press, Upright rows....

1 scoop Mesomorph preWO (yeeea-buhdee!), 1 testalensis, 2 scoops PsyKO intra...man, was sopping wet by the time the workout was done.

Morning weight: 173.5

7s, full powering them up, controlled negative, then full power up again.

I think the subconscious block about going too fast happens to everyone that works on good form. Honestly getting good form down initially is the way to go. When adding in certain training modalities such as the 7s, I try to keep good form, but pumping the reps for speed and power is a nice change in the routine for my muscles. Just make sure you arent going out of form enough to be damaging in any way (especially to joints, tendons, ligaments etc).

EZ bar curl, Rev curls, Hoist seated cable curls....several sets...

Notes: Meso PreWO, used a serving of BC+EAA as well, along with a cap Testalensis...then 2 scoops PsyKO intra...pumped up like a balloon...dripping sweat...kept things going at a pretty fast clip until my mp3 player battery ran out near the end of the preacher curls...that suck, but dealt with it....had added Alpha male aggression....no noticeable upticks in libido just yet...

I'm going to experiment with doing the 7 sets performed as 21's...you know the 7 reps bottom of the rep, 7 reps top of the rep, 7 reps full range of motion...but start out doing them as '15's', so just 5/5/5....see what that does...

That sounds like a good idea to burn things out at the end
