  5. Workout 5

1 scoops Purple InTrain (PIT) consumed during workout

    20 minutes stretching & warmups
    40 minutes taijiquan / baguazhang
40 minutes meditation & iron palm training
    45 minutes weight training
    10 minute cooldown

    Weights
    4x5 Deadlifts
    5x10 Chinups
    5x10 Inverted rows
    3x15 Lateral Raises

    Notes
Last set of Deads I tweeked my lower back. Guess I jumped into the heavier weights too fast. I recognized the muscle strain early enough to stop, and move onto some chinups. Thus avoiding any serious injury.

So far this is one of my favorite products. I usually have an array of creatines, protein and stuff in my arsenal. It's nice to back off, use one solid product and see the type of gains it produces. I feel as if I'm getting bigger, but the scale says I'm only up 2lbs from when I started.

  6. Glad you didn't hurt yourself on the Deads. I'm dealing with an injury right now and it's no fun. I've had it for over three months now.

I hurt my back on the hack...it took me over 9 months to get back to training legs. Your back is no joke.

True, I tweaked something in back two months ago and it hasn't felt right since....

  10. Looking good Jon~!

  11. Workout 6

2 scoops Purple InTrain (PIT) consumed during workout

    20 minutes stretching & warmups
    40 minutes taijiquan / baguazhang
40 minutes meditation & iron palm training
    45 minutes weight training
    10 minute cooldown

    Weights
    3x12 Squats
    10x5 close grip bench press
    100 dips
    1st set: 25

    Notes
2 Fewer dips than last time. I blame this on general energy levels when lifting. Thinking about adding a small amount of caffeine to my preworkout regiment. Other than that the workout was very good. Push is my favorite day, although I need to make more strikes on my back; there's nothing like a tight tricep feeling.

One thing I found strange was my hands were tingling (BA tingle) about 1.5 - 2 hours post workout. It was a very subtle tingle. I blame this on my IP training bringing blood to my hands, then combined with the Purple InTrain it was a very nice feeling.

Some wu family for your enjoyment

Squats. I had a searing, hot pain as I was coming up. It's been messed up ever since. Chiro thinks it's a bulging disc, but can't be certain without an MRI. I've been doing my best to train around it.

  16. looking good bud, wasnt around for awhile, wife gave birth this past week, I was busy not sleeping!

  22. Workout 7

2 scoops Purple InTrain (PIT) consumed during workout

    20 minutes stretching & warmups
    40 minutes taijiquan / baguazhang
40 minutes meditation & iron palm training
    45 minutes weight training
    10 minute cooldown

    5x5 CG Bench Press
    5x5 Weighted Inverted Rows
    3x12 Weighted Dips
    3x12 EZ Bar Curls
    Max pushups & chinups

    Notes
I had a friend come over and lift with me yesterday. This was our workout. It was a basic, fun upperbody workout that left me pretty darn sore today. Usually I workout alone, but it was nice to have somebody spot me for those close grips. We did alot of dropsets, and pretty high intense sets: low rest, switch offs and all kinds of fun stuff.

  23. The August Moon Festival was a blast. Took the train into Chinatown around 10am, and had to leave by noon! It was very humid that day, almost 100 degrees, with crowds of people. I did however manage to get some cool pictures. As for the food, it was flowing plentiful! Had me some duck, tea, rice, eggrolls, even some sake and whiskey LOL. It was basically a 3 block party, lots of merchants and restaurants. Think of combining July 4th with a Flea market

  24. Dupe post

  25. nice pics RR- looks like a good time for sure!

  26. Dropsets are killers. Shock therapy for muscles!

  27. any updates on this log?

  28. Been lifting and training steadily since.

I still have a half bottle of Purple InTrain left. LOL! I've been using AT LEAST 1 scoop per day.

I've been hitting it hard and reached a PR on my deadlifts the other day. The day after squat day, no less.

Going into the gym to do push tonite. Will update later!

  29. Nice work RR - keep hitting it
