    Day 312

    1522 - Skipping:
    a. 4 x 3 min skipping/30 sec break
    b. 4 x 90 sec skipping/30 sec break
    c. 4 x 30 sec skipping/30 sec break

    1551 - Stretch 20 min.

    1636 - Back/Chest (1 min recovery between alternate sets):
    Alternate Set -
    1. BB Deadlifts 6 x 6
    2. Push-Ups (feet on bench, hands on floor) 6 x 10

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~0545-1334, so ~7.75 hours sleep. Didn't fall asleep between 0200 and 0300 like I wanted, but, once asleep, I was OUT. Dreams were vivid and uncomfortable. Sleep was DEEP...

Motivation: Once I got into the skipping I was in. Come resistance session I did a bit less, so that I can do better tomorrow, and didn't do post-weights cardio.

Mental Alertness/Focus: ~10 minutes after dosing RPM I am awake and alert and bright and ready to go.

    Energy: There.

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: Some...

Joints: Left wrist aching during resistance training (I had to change my hands during Push-Ups, from doing them on my palms (as normal) to doing them on my fists (palms facing inwards), since my left wrist cannot bend like it was and causes PAIN when it does)...

    Endurance: Excellent.

Strength: Fine. Left wrist is starting to hinder a few lifts.

    Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Legs.

Recovery: Some DOMS in triceps. Otherwise, fine...Feeling hips after today's session...

Body Composition and Look: Calves and forearms are looking ripped. Everything else is kind of blah. Still holding water in midsection and upper legs...

    Appetite: Fine.

Immune Function: Actually feel loads better today.

Other Notes: At Kathy's suggestion, I have been applying Liposolv 2-3 hours after showering (applying my daily moisturizer post-shower); and there has been no more itching...I am still NOT experiencing any skin blanching or white spots or anything else expected from the product yet...And due to spray nozzle issues continuing, I am still using my hands to apply the product; which means that I am probably using FAR more than 14 sprays per application...

Thanks, bud. ALL of my product reviews are as comprehensive...Not sure why you are talking about sponsored logs by MST; I have done no such with their products.

    Day 313

This week's Day OFF (looks like Monday is going to be it, looking at the pattern over the last few weeks)...

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~0530-1528, so nearly 10 hours sleep. Sleep was deep and full of dreams. Woke sore (legs from the skipping yesterday) and exhausted. Really too late to train (especially if I want to get back into a decent schedule), so made it my Day Off for this week...

    Motivation: There.

Mental Alertness/Focus: After dosing RPM (I take 2 caps first thing EVERY day) I was fine...Work this evening...

Energy: Body sore as, but once had RPM, started picking up.

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: Not sure yet...

    Joints: Fine.

    Endurance: N/A.

    Strength: N/A.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Arms feeling harder than they have been.

Recovery: Some DOMS in legs on waking, especially in iliopsoas and calves, but diminishing the longer I am awake...

Body Composition and Look: Water weight is finally going!

    Appetite: Fine.

    Immune Function: Good.

    Day 314

    1912 - HIIT Gazelle:
    a. 5 min easy
    b. 20 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
    c. 5 min easy

    1934 - Stretch 26 min.

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~1200-1749 (waking at 1549), so ~5.75 hours sleep. Sleep here and there. Definitely gone once I allowed myself to close my eyes (was trying to stay up all day until ~2130 so that could get into rhythm re routine; but that comes tonight now)...

Motivation: I've never really needed outside influence to help with motivation, but having others believe in you can make a difference during the times when it gets tough.

    Mental Alertness/Focus: On the ball...

Energy: Bouncing around like a playful kitten this morning. Acting, as quoted, "like you have ADD", LOL.

    Stress: VERY HIGH.

    Libido: Hmmmm...

    Joints: No issues today.

    Endurance: Fine.

    Strength: N/A.

    Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Hardness is returning.

Recovery: DOMS in calves from skipping on Sunday...

Body Composition and Look: Back to 120.2lb, with no more water retention. The areas that are looking leaner are arms, upper abs, and lower legs, NOT where I have been applying Liposolv (???)

    Appetite: Good.

    Immune Function: Back to normal.

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~1200-1643 (waking at 1311), so nearly 4.75 hours sleep. Sleep so very full of strange and amazing dreams...

Motivation: Although much later than I prefer to train, I went ahead anyway, because there's NO room for "no".

    Mental Alertness/Focus: There.

    Energy: Pretty good.

    Stress: VERY HIGH.

    Libido: There.

Joints: Left wrist has actually been pretty good today, despite some early morning wrestling.

    Endurance: Fine.

    Strength: Improving.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Shoulders and arms hard and full.

    Recovery: Good.

Body Composition and Look: Working on bringing out my hamstrings, since they're the only part of my Legs that are not really up to speed.

    Day 316

    1800 - Gazelle 20 min.

    1825 - Stretch 20 min.

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~0600-1700 (waking at 1400, 1500 and 1600), so ~11 hours sleep (what's up with the more sleeping lately???) Crazy dreams. I woke up quite a lot, and each time drifting back to sleep to a different dream). Woke up a few times not able to breath as well, which was not cool (I have been told that I may be starting to have sleep apnoea)...

    Motivation: There.

    Mental Alertness/Focus: There.

    Energy: Fine.

Stress: VERY VERY HIGH. I'm so stressed that my right wisdom tooth has come up...

    Libido: There.

Joints: Left wrist only some minor aching.

    Endurance: Fine.

    Strength: N/A.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Upper body feels harder.

Recovery: Hamstrings have DOMS from yesterday's resistance session; feels good.

Body Composition and Look: Looking a whole lot tighter from waist up today and from knees down. Upper midsection looking leaner.

    Appetite: Fine.

Immune Function: My right wisdom tooth came up a couple of days ago and has gradually been getting worse, with my neck now tender beneath it, with a small lump, and eating being a b*tch. Waking feeling like sh*t.

Other Notes: Last day today of the tube of Liposolv that I have. Both yesterday and today, small white crystals were mixed in with the liquid on application. Itching and all skin irritation has stopped...Another tube has been sent out, so I shall be able to continue until that is finished, and therefore get a better idea of how the product worked for me.

It happens only when I get really stressed. Possibly the same for you. But sh*t happens, so we've just got to suck it up and roll with it.

    1019 - Spin Bike:
    20 min @ 42.24 km/hr pace

Sleep - Time and Quality: None; I was not able to sleep last night.

    Motivation: Strong.

Mental Alertness/Focus: I have been highly alert and focused today.

Energy: Awesome; felt like I was on cloud 9 re energy. Started waning at ~1600, passing out for ~2.5 hours not long after.

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: High.

Joints: Left wrist aching. Right superiolateral knee sharp pain.

    Endurance: Excellent.

Strength: Today's session was not about strength, but more an improvisation on high-reps...However, surprised at strength in Lower Body, especially since not been doing anything for it; Leg Press was easily doing 429lb.

    Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Lower Body.

Recovery: Suffering still from Hamstrings on Wednesday and then after today's sessions.

Body Composition and Look: Upper midsection and legs looking the leanest. I am starting to get black marks that look like bruises but are not bruises appearing on my lower legs (seems to happen when I start getting leaner). My mind seems focused on the belly that I hate and want to see gone ASAP, displeased with anything else.

    Appetite: High carbohydrates today.

Immune Function: Swollen glands on right side of neck.

Other Notes: Liposolv (sent Monday) has still not arrived. Therefore I will be giving a review on the product tomorrow.

Review of Better Body Sports' Liposolv

So ends a tube of Liposolv, the latest innovation from Better Body Sports. It was an interesting run to say the least...

    What is it?

    * Blocks 11-HSD-1, the cortisol activating fat enzyme
    * Four Synergistic boosters of cAMP
    * Gets more to target sites

For more information see post #5 Liposolv "next generation spot fat reducer"- licensed from Patrick Arnold.

Smell: N/A. Liposolv smelt like alcohol; nothing else.

Feel: 10/10. A quick cool touch, like that you get when you get water sprayed on you. Liposolv is not greasy or sticky after application.

Spreadability: N/A. Liposolv is not a lotion, but a spray. Even if I try and spread it immediately after application to anywhere but the place where the spray hit my skin, it does NOT spread there.

Drying: 10/10. Liposolv was dry in mere seconds after spraying it on my skin.

Body Composition: 5/10. Pre-Liposolv I was 54.64kg (i.e. 120.2lb) at 11.8% bodyfat (BF). Post-Liposolv I am 54.09kg (i.e. 119lb) at 11.8% BF. Although I LOST 0.55kg (i.e. 1.21lb) my body composition did NOT change. This means that I lost BOTH BF AND lean body mass (LBM): 0.07kg (i.e. 0.154lb) of BF and 0.48kg (i.e. 1.056lb) of LBM...Skinfolds was an interesting mix of no change, decrease AND increase over the 8 skinfolds taken...Girths did not change much at all, with all but Shoulders and Thigh girths remaining UNchanged: Shoulders lost 2cm and Thighs gained 2cm...Despite the minor decrease in BF my forearms, upper midsection, and calves, all areas where I did NOT apply Liposolv gradually became more defined over the course of my use of Liposolv...Please note that all POST-measurements were taken three days after I had STOPPED use of Liposolv...

Other Effects: 5/10. From Day 2 to Day 13 I had a lot of water retention, with the scale climbing consistently until Day 13, before suddenly dropping back to my starting body mass...From Day 5 the areas where I applied Liposolv started becoming itchy; the itching went away when I started applying Liposolv ~2 hours post-shower/moisturizer, from Day 13...I did NOT experience the expected skin blanching or white spots or garlic odor.

Overall: 6.5/10. Liposolv produced a mixed bag of results for me, with some no change, decreases, and increases in both skinfolds and girths, and an overall NO change in body composition with a decrease in body mass. If I were going based on what I was on the day that I finished the tube of Liposolv, my body statistics did NOT change. Three days after use I lost 0.55kg (i.e. 1.21lb) of body mass; this coupled with the water retention experienced during my use of Liposolv causes me to believe that Liposolv causes water retention and that the results of the product cannot be assessed until a few days after STOPPING use of it.

Would I use it again? I would use another tube, and see what happened over 30 days, as opposed to only 16 days, seeing as results were not really definitive re loss or gains...And because the ingredient profile suggests something other than the results I got.

Would I recommend? Generally I would NOT recommend a topical fat loss product. I would recommend making sure that the key component to fat loss - DIET - was targeted at fat loss, and that training was structured appropriately, before I would even consider recommending a fat loss supplement/product (and unless you're relatively lean to begin with and just want to lose that last 1-2% BF, then I wouldn't recommend at all). But, in saying that, if diet and exercise are right, then just that little something extra can be recommended.

This review is also available in my sponsored log (post #22) in the Supplement Reviews/Logs subsection of the Supplements Forum: Time to Strip the Female Terminator with Liposolv (Sponsored).

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~0400-0953, so nearly 5 hours sleep. Took pre-bed supplements at 2220, since was hoping to fall asleep before 0000, as had only had 2 hours of sleep in over 24 hours prior. Didn't start getting remotely eyes-wanting-to-close until ~0330. Dreaming vividly...

    Motivation: Fine.

Mental Alertness/Focus: The time has passed just like that since I got up.

Energy: Not much, especially with the pain my legs are in.

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: High.

    Joints: Ok.

    Endurance: N/A.

    Strength: N/A.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Better on resistance training days.

    Recovery: Hamstrings SORE.

Body Composition and Look: 119lb @ 11.8% BF. Losing some water weight. Down that body composition has NOT changed over the last 3 weeks, especially since diet and training has been ok.

    Appetite: HUNGRY.

Immune Function: Glands still up a little...Sneezing a lot (happens any weather)...Eyes bloodshot...

    Day 320

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~0200-2030 (waking 5-6 times), so ~18.5 hours sleep. On top of the 1800-2030 that I passed out last night, makes for ~21 hours in total. Saturday's training must have really taken something out of me, especially on no sleep for some time! Sleep deep. Dreaming vividly, returning after each wakening....

Motivation: Contacted Layne Norton last night; I will be working with him in preparation for my competitions next year. If you want to be the best you go to the best!

Mental Alertness/Focus: Took some time since waking to really get with it; just wanted to go back to sleep (but I will NOT sleep for over 24 hours!)

Energy: Not much, especially with the pain my legs are in.

    Stress: HIGH.

    Libido: N/A.

Joints: Only minor niggles in left wrist.

    Endurance: N/A.

    Strength: N/A.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Better on resistance training days.

Recovery: Like yesterday my body is aching and feels like one big bruise; Saturday's session took a lot more out of me than I realized. It hurts to stand, walk, do anything, really, except sit.

Body Composition and Look: Seeing top two abs really awesome! Now to get the rest like that!

Appetite: Been asleep almost all day.

Immune Function: Gland right side of neck finally gone down.

Other Notes: The second tube of Liposolv still has not arrived, so my review yesterday stands as my Final Review of the product.

    Day 321

    0644 - HIIT Run:
    a. 4 min jogging
    b. 8 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
    c. 4 min jogging
    d. 8 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
    e. 6 min jogging

    0712 - Stretch 24 min.

    0800 - Shoulders (1 min recovery between sets/supersets):
    1. Seated BB Shoulder Press 10 x 10
    2. Seated DB Shoulder Press 4 x 12
    Superset -
    3. DB Lateral Raise 4 x 15
    4. Incline DB Rear Raise 4 x 15

    2110 - Gazelle 20 min.

Sleep - Time and Quality: None. I have not slept since getting up yesterday(feel like I need it though!); has been >24 hours now...

Motivation: Highly motivated. When everyone else is going out and letting other things get in the way I am going to be pushing myself to be training.

    Mental Alertness/Focus: There until ~1930.

Energy: Actually, despite training, I have NOT had a lot of energy today...So wanted to be sleeping from ~1930, but forcing myself to stay up for pm cardio...

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: Some am.

Joints: Left wrist dull pain...Left shoulder has been giving me some issues, in the muscle and bicep tendon, since HIIT Run...

    Endurance: Excellent.

Strength: Improving on Seated BB Shoulder Press. Going heavier each set there meant that I struggled with the rest of the session, though.

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Can't wait until it is back to where my conditioning and definition comes out!

Recovery: My body still feels like a huge bruise and my glutes and hamstrings are suffering. Not as bad when I was running (seems that faster movement makes the pain go away).

Body Composition and Look: Looking leaner.

    Appetite: Good girl.

Immune Function: I could be getting a few sniffles and issues from going outside (i.e. for my runs or for chores) and then coming back inside, as I rarely wear more than one short layer.

Other Notes: Since Monday was a day off because of circumstance this week's Monday to Friday will be Tuesday to Saturday, and on Sunday I will just do a cardio session (NOT HIT).

    Day 322

    0518 - Spin Bike:
    40 min @ 41.1 km/hr

    0559 - Stretch 20 min.

    0624 - Abs/Hamstrings (1 min recovery between sets/supersets):
    Superset -
    1. Hanging Knee Raise 5 x 10
    2. Rope Crunch 5 x 10
    3. BB Stiff-Legged Deadlift 5 x 20
    4. BB Romanian Deadlift (on box) 5 x 10
    5. Leg Curl 5 x 10

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~2220-0259, so ~4.3 hours sleep. Had planned on waking and getting up at 0515, but woke at 0259 and was wide awake. Sleep dark. No dreams...

    Motivation: >100%!

    Mental Alertness/Focus: There.

Energy: I was actually shattered come the end of training (glad no pm cardio today)...

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

    Libido: There.

Joints: Left wrist has been aching like a b*tch all day...

    Endurance: Excellent.

Strength: The best way to bring out my hamstrings using weights is through high reps (weight whatever I can handle for set reps). Was struggling for Leg Curls after all the BB Deadlifts.

    Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Legs.

Recovery: Hamstrings still hurt (and today's session is just going to compound on that). Worse than ever after the BB Romanian Deadlifts..Left hip having little niggly issues as well.

Body Composition and Look: Lost more water weight; dropped down to 117lb.

    Appetite: Fine.

Immune Function: Bloodshot eyes and some sniffles.

Other Notes: Used a sample packet of Gaspari MyoFusion in Double Chocolate this morning. After being highly disappointed in all the flavours of the different protein powders that I have tried since I have been in the US, this was a breath of fresh air and something that I LIKED. It tasted like milo, but with a thicker, creamier texture (awesome, considering I only mixed it with water), and is to date the second best brand of protein that I have used re taste.

[Mini] Review of Gaspari Nutrition's MyoFusion (Double Chocolate Flavour)

    MyoFusion in Double Chocolate...

    What is it?

    http://store.anabolicminds.com/photo...ION_large.JPEG

    * Cross-Flow Cold Process / Microfiltered Whey Protein Concentrate and Isolate, Egg Albumen, and Milk Protein Isolate
    * Powerful Proteolytic GaspariZyme? Complex For Extreme Bioavailability and Maximum Amino Acid Levels In The Bloodstream
    * Sugar-free
    * Long-term taste satisfaction

For more information see Gaspari Nutrition - MyoFusion.

Formula: 9/10. I like that MyoFusion includes more protein sources than just whey (concentrate or isolate). The fat ingredients are quality as well, making up a little of my good fat intake for the day. And it contains very little sugar, which is perfect for me, as even the smallest amount of sugar (whatever it is from) is enough to have me bouncing off the walls and then severely crashing once the sugar high has worn off. Added vitamins and minerals top it off.

    Smell: 10/10. Hmmmmm...Chocolate. I LOVE chocolate...

Taste: 10/10. MyoFusion in Double Chocolate tastes like milo (which is one of the few drinks that I will have outside of water and herbal tea). The chocolate taste was perfect: Not too watery and not sweet (I don't like sweet chocolate). To date MyoFusion is the second best brand of protein that I have used re taste, with the Double Chocolate Flavour being almost perfection.

Mixability: 10/10. My protein shakes consist of 300-500ml of water with the protein powder of choice mixed with. MyoFusion mixes quickly and easily, leaving no powder clumps and hardly any bubbles on top (and any that there were quickly went).

Texture: 9/10. MyoFusion in Double Chocolate has a thick, creamy texture (awesome, considering I only mixed it with water), almost like drinking a smoothie, or something mixed with milk. Filling, as well.

Overall: 9.6/10. I have just found the primary protein powder that I am going to be using whilst in the US.

Would I use it again? Yes.

    Would I recommend? Yes.

    Day 323 - Day 18 of Lean Xtreme 2.0

    0703 - HIIT Run:
    a. 8 min jogging
    b. 16 x 20 sec effort/10 sec easy
    c. 6 min jogging

    0735 - Stretch 20 min.

    0817 - Arms (1 min recovery between supersets/alternate sets):
    Alternate Set -
    1. Dips 5 x 10
    2. Close-Grip Pull-Ups 5 x 10
    Superset A -
    3. Flat Close-Grip BB Bench Press 4 x 4, 3, 3, 3
    4. DB Zottoman Curls 4 x 10
    Superset B -
    5. DB French Press 4 x 6
    6. EZ-Bar Biceps Curls 4 x 10
    Superset C -
    7. V-Bar Tricep Push-Down 4 x 8
    8. Alternate DB Hammer Curls 4 x 20

    1650 - Gazelle 20 min.

Sleep - Time and Quality: ~1730-2237 and ~0123-0520, so ~9 hours total. Passed out early last night (before dinner) and slept for ~5 hours. When woke was awake for a while and then back to sleep, my body waking on schedule. Sleep deep as. No dreams...

Motivation: Renewing it day by day!

    Mental Alertness/Focus: Here and there.

Energy: My body has had NOTHING there today. Because I suffered so much to even get moving in HIIT I took a scoop of Purple InTrain pre-gym in the hope that it would help with energy (since RPM wasn't cutting it today), but all I got was a definite realization that I do NOT like ANYthing with either waxy maize or Beta-Alanine in...

    Stress: VERY VERY HIGH.

Libido: The way I've been feeling I have had none.

Joints: Left wrist has been getting worse, especially during my resistance session, getting icy and then hot, as if my nerves were being affected somehow...

    Endurance: There...Without the speed...

Strength: I struggled so badly through everything. Weights were lower than usual, or I couldn't get as many reps out as I normally could for a specific weight. Lots of growling and cussing going on as I got more and more frustrated. Kept on pushing through, though, as I was NOT going to leave until I had FINISHED what I had set out to do!

Muscle Hardness/Fullness: Arms by the end of the session.

Recovery: Hamstrings still feel 'stretched' out (which is a good and bad thing). Shoulders are a little sore if I put them back too far.

    Body Composition and Look: Ok.

Appetite: After 3 days on lower calories/carbohydrates I am ready and ripe to let myself loose (damn, if I 'dieted' I would be the world's biggest b*tch to live with and like the living dead walking around).

    Immune Function: Fine.
