Don't think it's offseason because the heavyweights prepare for the O by June. 202s (212 now) usually stay relatively lean all year round don't out on too much body fat so I believe they start a lil later. Cutlet had a speedy recovery after that bicep injury. I guess money gets you the best doctors and specialists in the business lol

Yeah I think it would be pretty amazing if Jay can regain the title from losing it twice

  8. IM IN!! if it can be done i think he'd be the one to do it !!!

This years Mr. O is going to be an exciting 1. Both Jay and Vic are regaining their size and preparing for the O at the same time. We have Branch Warren who made some great improvements on his physique. He still has the big, hard, grainy look like Dorian Yates but he got tighter. Phil Heath probably didnt do too much to his physique. He probably just made small improvements to what the Judges say is a Mr. O body. Even when you win a show you still go up to the judges and ask for opinions on their body

  10. Don't get me wrong, Phil looks amazing, but I prefer the bigger. wider type bodybuilders. Really hope Jay takes the crown again.

  11. I was think'n jay was skiping the mr.o and doing the shru...but l haven't seen the comp list lately. Any one heard any thing on jason huh???? I really think hes one to keep an eye on.

  12. Didn't Jason donthe Arnold Classic this year? He's deff up and coming. But if I had to say who is the future of the IFBB Mr.O from some of the young guys I would have to put my bet on Evan Centopani

  13. not sure about jason donthe, if ya look back at last years TAMPA pro you'll see the jason im talking about, he did well last year but ive heard nothing this year, i looked around the web and found nothing new. Evans not a bad choice bro,hes looks like he could stand the teat of time...ya know. This is a long distance sport not a sprint...the guys we see year after year are studs for sure !!

  25. I live in Texas.... Hit the name! And I train about once every two weeks at metroflex in Arlington. For the guys that don't know, that's the gym Ronnie came from and the one branch trains at. I've seen him in person lately and he is looking beastly!!!! I'll try to pop a couple pictures tomorrow when I go if he is training, just to show y'all. But I don't like to be that guy, he is super intense while training and ppl get the fudge out of his way.
He will also be guest posing in Europa Dallas in 10 days. The show I'm actually competing in. So I'll definitely get some pictures of him then!

Branch is awesome...can't wait to see the pics. Good luck in the show, you look ripped in the other thread

  27. For the past 3 years Branch sure has made some impressive improvements. Other than size he is the only Olympian with that grainy look. The look that Dorian Yates once had. It's one thing to be big and ripped but it's another thing to have that very hard grainy look. I think it is also great that Branch finally found a training partner in Johnnie Jackson with the same training philosophy and reliability. I know MetroFlex is a neighborhood gym and I too go to a similar style gym here in Brooklyn NY where you walk in and know every1, able to train alone and still ask for a spot. But it does help to always have a training partner with you who is ready to work, on time, and pushes you. A good reliable training partner is hard to find in my opinion

  28. Ya I agree it is pretty hard to find a good training partner and with Branch training and looking the way he is he's going to do great! I would still like to see Jay win another Mr. O as much as I love Phil Heath I think jay is going to retire soon idk cause to me he just looks a little tired now haha so I think it would be dope for him to take it one more time before Phil starts his streak =P

  29. UPDATE! August 27, 2012 -- Victor Martinez just announced on Muscular Development's FaceBook page that he will not be competing at this year's 2012 Mr. Olympia.

Personally I think he made the right choice after being in jail for 7 months. He should spend the entire year gaining all his mass back, do next years Arnold Classic and than prepare for the 2013 Olympia. He tried his best to get back on track for this years Olympia but time wasn't of the essence for him. I wonder if Jay Cutler will be announcing anything next.

Jay already announced he wasn't doing the olympia! Looks like it will be between Branch and Phil!
