I love the sport of bodybuilding but I don't like how they do things in the IFBB. I think certain ppl in the history of the IFBB got screwed over and should have won. It's kind of corrupt and political in my opinionOriginally Posted by Eunyce

Well, yeah true, kevin, and flex, wheeler should of deserved Mr. O titles in thier prime carrer.! Theres a lot that got screwed, in the IFBB and the 202"s like flex lewis sould have beaten kevin english at the 202 olympia. as far as judging goes, i agree with you on that Animal.. But other than that.. The Accomplishments, Fans, Bodybuilding its all lovely" truley A Desire"!

thats grate news on vic! i wasn't sure he'd do the mr.o.......well, branch just got knocked down a spot.
06-26-2012, 08:54 AM
Idk I wouldn't go that far to say Branch got knocked down a spot. Branch really made some improvements and Branch, unlike the other competitors has a very distinct look. Vick was in jail for 7 months on drug related charges (juice). He had 7 months of no training and no proper diet. He left jail @ 220lbs. But it was said on Muscular Development that Victor was going to attempt what the old school bodybuilders such as Arnold, Franco, Lou Ferrigno did when getting ready for a show. It was said that the old school bodybuilders would take time off during the offseason instead of taking the time to bulk up. Than when it was time to get ready fornthe show they would put on muscle mass. This is the only way Victor can get back on the game if he tries this attempt. It was also said that since he's been out of jail he gained 30lbs of mass so he's back up to 250lbs... Jay Cutler is probably going with this old school attempt too. Let's see what happens. Anything can happen when you have the right sponsors, good, training facilities, and the best gear in the sportOriginally Posted by 16dawg23

Aww man awsome! Victor gained 30 that fast..! Wow . Uhuh!! Thats way too cool...! Victor martinez will get a good placing i hope, victoria is another 1 of my favorites.. ! Thanks Animal for that information! Im fixing to head over musculardevelopment right now to find out more.!!!
06-26-2012, 11:36 AM
Yeah it's deff going to be an interesting year in Bodybuilding. Both Cutler and Martinez are going to attempt the impossible. On top of that Jay wiuld be the 1st bidybuilder ever to win, lose and regain it twice. It has never been done in IFBB history. think between Cutler and Martinez, Jay has the upper hand. Jay was not in Jail and he probably still continued taking his juice just to preserve the muscle he had. He also still had access to quality foods. Plus even though his bicep was healing he continued to train legs. I've seen videos of him in a sling for his arm while doing leg extensions, leg curls, hack squats, and leg presses.. Oh yeah!! Animal... Jay Cutler is Fantastic, and still kinda young and he looks great!! Retirering! Yeah rite! Still got 10 more years ahead of him.! you know for victor to gain so fast like he did, that might knock kai green out the way in the top 3????.. You nerver know what victor"s up to now!!
06-26-2012, 10:29 PM
Kai is a mass monster. He needs to tighten his waist and make it slimmer cuz he's short and he looks stumpy.. I always liked Victor Martinez's physique but his conditioning is never spot on at the OlympiaOriginally Posted by Eunyce

like i said befor im a huge jay fan,if it can be done jay coud do it, but he dosen't have 10 yrs. the life of most pro cards is 12 yrs. i seen pics of jay at 255lbs..he looked grate, IMO.he should work with a lower mass level. This won't be vics year but i bet he places well and bet hes in the game for awhile. vic is a grate BB andi wish him the best.
06-27-2012, 09:43 AM
Yeah I agree. It's not about how many lbs you are because if that was the case what ever happened to Markus Rhul lol. It's what you personally bring to the show. Size, shape and definition. Jays downfall at last years Mr.O was his waist wasn't tight, his chest was soft, he had wrinkles going down his lower back and obviously his torn bicep. Let's see what happens now. This is gonna be a rebirth for Jay Cutler and his physique. 2.0!!!Originally Posted by 16dawg23

Yes! Sir Animal! I wont this to either be Dexter"s year of the of the Mr. O or either victor martinez. But, yeah kai greene most definetly got size, Mass and Shrededd cuts. Hes kinda short, but let"s just think back to Franco Columbo"s years........ They worked "Hard" in the gym and can lift very "Heavy" but, mr. Joe weider and the judges... Well see put it as joe weider being a judge to certain a physique as playing favorites but as one of greatest people on earth.!! i feel kai is going to bring it this time around!!!!
06-28-2012, 06:50 AM
ya know vic might surprize us (i hope he dose) he came out of jail at 220, he looked smaller in the pics (from MD). just putt'n it out there.the year he got 2nd at the O. dose any one think he should have been 1st.......close one there guys! it would be kool to have a showdown this year. don't really see that happen...but would be nice.
06-28-2012, 07:23 AM
Yes! It sure would be nice to see victor martinez up there in the top3!!! Last year at the sheru classic in mumbai india he finished4! Pretty darn good! And MHP"s maximum human performance supplements are a pretty good supplement brand. . . . !!!! & Company as well. There"s lots of Powerlifters on MHP yeah... Theres good background science on that! But other than that!!!!! lets hope" the best".!
06-28-2012, 09:49 AM
Victor Martinez endorses MHP. He def does not take any of the products lolOriginally Posted by Eunyce

And I respect that... to the fullest! ! Its not all about "STEROIDS" !!! Every IFBB takes their Supplements! I do believe
06-28-2012, 11:37 AM
Professional IFBB. Victor Martinez .......!! 4th place finish...!
06-28-2012, 11:41 AM

Update: Jay Cutler recently weighed in @ 285lbs

holy s*** , is this his off season weight? lol, if not he is getting ronnie big, should be a great O this yearOriginally Posted by VS91588

Don't think it's offseason because the heavyweights prepare for the O by June. 202s (212 now) usually stay relatively lean all year round don't out on too much body fat so I believe they start a lil later. Cutlet had a speedy recovery after that bicep injury. I guess money gets you the best doctors and specialists in the business lolOriginally Posted by jondel

This years Mr. O is going to be an exciting 1. Both Jay and Vic are regaining their size and preparing for the O at the same time. We have Branch Warren who made some great improvements on his physique. He still has the big, hard, grainy look like Dorian Yates but he got tighter. Phil Heath probably didnt do too much to his physique. He probably just made small improvements to what the Judges say is a Mr. O body. Even when you win a show you still go up to the judges and ask for opinions on their bodyOriginally Posted by 16dawg23

Don't get me wrong, Phil looks amazing, but I prefer the bigger. wider type bodybuilders. Really hope Jay takes the crown again.

I was think'n jay was skiping the mr.o and doing the shru...but l haven't seen the comp list lately. Any one heard any thing on jason huh???? I really think hes one to keep an eye on.
07-18-2012, 04:21 PM
Didn't Jason donthe Arnold Classic this year? He's deff up and coming. But if I had to say who is the future of the IFBB Mr.O from some of the young guys I would have to put my bet on Evan Centopani
07-19-2012, 07:15 AM
not sure about jason donthe, if ya look back at last years TAMPA pro you'll see the jason im talking about, he did well last year but ive heard nothing this year, i looked around the web and found nothing new. Evans not a bad choice bro,hes looks like he could stand the teat of time...ya know. This is a long distance sport not a sprint...the guys we see year after year are studs for sure !!

Jay Cutler and Victor Martinez were in my neighborhood Sunday at this supplement store in Brooklyn called "Natural Vitamins" ....From what I saw all I can say is Victor Martinez was tw one who was in jail and he gained back more I his size than Jay Cutler. Muscular Development posted pics of the event. Take a look for yourself...
07-25-2012, 06:52 AM
i wouldn't mind seeing jay sport a lighter weight,he looked good a 255lbs,vic is look'n great....HUGE!!!!
08-04-2012, 04:57 PM
Are there only 2 categories dividing the weights now since they moved it up? 212 and unlimited?
08-04-2012, 05:19 PM
Yeah it's the 212s and super heavy weight guys. There's also amature contests and fitness Olympiad but yeah for Mr. Olympia its just 212s and the big mother*****rs lolOriginally Posted by hogwild1392
