I have been having a shoulder issue when benching heavy. I use westside training methods. I have decided I am going to take three weeks off of heavy benching, but leave speed bench since lower weight doesn’t seem to bother my shoulder. My main question is could the pain in my shoulder be caused by underdeveloped rear delts? My idea was to take these three weeks off and really focus on bringing up my rear delts because my shoulder issue is nothing new. It keeps reoccurring.
