Yes im a democrat and yes I did vote for obama, but now I think I shouldnt have. Is this guy really qualified to be our president? I do admit I fell into the hype of obama for a while mostly because im democrat, but know im second guessing our president. It seems like everyone voted for him because hes younger than other candidates and all the celebs were behind him and the media hype. Everyone forgot (including myself) that this guy doesnt have a whole lot of experience at high level politics. Dont get me wrong I like obama as a human being he seems like a very nice and smart man but does that mean he should be president? I even have a black friend that didnt vote for him because he didnt think he had enough experience. I dont know but I think obama is going to be either one of the best presidents or one of the worst.

Obama is a dude with common sense, and he isnt an out of touch good ol boy from a billion dollar family. hes been in office for 1.5 months! holy ****.

give it a rest, make your judgements 3 years from now. no president can make drastic changes. i am fiscally conservative, but i voted for Obama because i was tired of old ass white men, out of touch rich *******s, telling me smoking weed is a problem and gay sex is "immoral".

we can't afford to continue to raise entitlements, raise spending, raise the size of government. whatever % of GDP goes directly towards government (currently 20%ish) spending CANT go towards growth of the GDP in terms of investment. As the government grows larger and larger, it continues to slow the growth of our economy and yet at the same time attempts to offer more and more benefits to the populace. Its unmaintainable.

that movie is great, and that is the full movie... whats one of the most interesting pieces which I hadn't thought of is that it explains that clinton only really had 1 surplus year, not the 5 that gets claimed. Mind you this movie is BY the comptroller general of the US - the head accountant of the GAO during part of the clinton administration and the bush admin. The reason they claim 5 years is because they added in the surplus collected from social security - that is supposed to be going into the social security fund to raise its balance, but is being spent instead. Only 1 year was an actual surplus without that counted (which is still good mind you)

ok so I just heard today that obama wants to cut the benifits for all veterans including combat veterans im sorry but thats just wrong. hes gonna lose alot of supporters by doing this. all these young people my age coming back from iraq all f____d up losing there benifits oh and there families lose it to by the way is not right. my mother is a nurse at the VA hospitable here in buffalo ny and she said some kid 23 came in today with his mother with such bad head trauma from iraq he couldnt remember how to do pretty much anything on his own and obama wants to cut his benifits srew that. cut the benifits of these bums that sit around all day smoke crack and have 8 freaking kids and collect welfare!!!!!!!!!!
