Thanks Guys!

it was a total of about 60 to 65 pounds.

I think this has been my biggest accomplishment in life...even more so than finishing college.

Thanks!

This transformation was 100% natural. The only supplements I was taking were protein and some ZMA before bed.

Nice bro...what was your diet like?
throughout the process my nutrition plan matured but I started out with (no flaming please) the ABS Diet by David Zinczenko. I actually still really enjoy some of the recipes out of the book. and I think it's something the average guy could use as a tool to lean up.

the more I got into it though the more I learned and continued to tweak my diet and training.

thanks for all the support! I was lucky enough to get some good friends at the gym that have done tons to help me along the way.

Nice work. Remember to stay away from the *****es who dissed before. Great job. Just another reminder that hard work is the most effective supp around...even better than powdered tiger penis.

thank you sir! I keep these pictures as a reminder of how far I've come. it keeps me motivated...I promised myself that I'll never let myself get that way again!

the most interesting part is that the mirrror lies! your eyes and mind play the biggest tricks on you; your mental image of yourself stays relatively the same regardless of how you look. I was really athletic when I was younger and I was skinny in high school; even when I was at my biggest I saw my thinner self when I looked in the mirror (or in pictures). having side by side photos really helps paint the picture later.

...I do also use these photos to help motivate others. kinda like the, "I did it; so can you!".

they kept these pictures up at my gym (I know it was for sales), every now and then I would get someone that would walk up to me and ask if I were the one in the pictures...sometimes someone would tell me that those pictures helped change their lives because they realized they could do the same thing. knowing that my work has helped change other peoples lives for the better gives quite the high!

I do what I can to help spread the knowledge that I've gained, and sometimes it takes things like this to show people what they can do for themselves...often enough they think they're a lost cause and that such goals are not within reach.

on sundays I help some of my friends/coworkers prepare healthy meals for the week. it ensures that their busy schedule don't get in the way of nutrition. sometimes people just need some help on how to make some really tasty healthy food too.

Yeah I started out with that book too almost a year ago and I've dropped around 50 lbs since then. It's a great basic start for someone like me who was pretty much clueless. Although I used supps for most of my time so far. Great job man and all natural is pretty impressive.

Very impressive transofmation. We started off at a similar weight, but I have to admit your transformation is way better than mine. I am currently sitting at the 195 mark and still have some gut remaining. It will be gone next year though and any time I start getting down I think about the line many people throw out "Weight loss is not a sprint it is a marathon".

Keep up the good work and continue being an inspiration to others!

Very awesome transformation dude.

I reaaaaaalllllyyyyy wish I had taken pictures back when I let myself get fat... I stayed away from a camera and procrastinated everytime I thought about taking one as a 'before' pic... Now I regret it completely, as I've made some huge changes (from a 40 to a 34 waist, and added inches on arms/legs, etc) but have nothing to show how big of a deal it was for me. I'll just have to let today be my before, so I can have something to show when I hit 225 someday.

thanks man! I took the first picture after I had lost nearly 20 pounds...

it's kinda cool, they posted my pics at the gym I go to...every now and then someone will pull me aside and tell me that I helped them change their life...they saw that I could do it and decided they could do it too. It's quite the feeling realizing that your own personal accomplishments have helped others.

Now I'm in the process of getting my NASM certificate so that I can better help others fallow my path!

did you notice that as you got bigger that you didn't realize it was happening? When I was fat and I looked in the mirror I still saw my old (slimmer) self in the mirror. it's not until I looked back at old pictures that I realized how big I had gotten.

I have some problem spots that I am having a hell of a time getting rid of. I still have the lower gut and some fat on the chest that takes away from my definition. How long did it take for that to tighten up for you?

I am basically doing weights 4 times a week, Cardio with 24 - 30 at least 2 times a week and one day I do sprints with a jog mixed in.

What does your routine look like?

YES! That was exactly how it happened. The day I realized what I had truly let happen to me was a huge shock, and devastated me. I'm not prone to depression, but I had a twinge of "give up" before I even started.

Your transformation is quite extreme, and definitely an inspiration.

I was sort of the reverse, I slowly tacked on the pounds, and not that i ever saw the slimmer me, but i didn't mind it so much until I got to where 38 waist was getting snug worn around the hips below the gut. I got on the scale and was 245 and said "**** that"....

The real "oh sh*t" moment was when my waist grew beyond my second set of clothes, and the prospect of buying 40" waist was not gonna work (started off as a 34"). But the description of how alarm bells don't go off until your "oh sh*t" realization matches how it seemed for me exactly. It was like I didn't really notice, and I rationalized every new pant size without really realizing until it was far beyond acceptable.

Easy, your transformation must have been equally impressive considering you are now "up to" 180+.

The hardest part for me was I never noticed I was getting fat until someone took pics of me...then when I start losing it is when I realize how fat I really am...the first few weeks of cutting the weight was the worst for me...
