Congratulations bro. I am where you were when you started, at least mentally. I am starting this life change at 300 lbs. I think taking the before-after pics would be beneficial to me. This is a great story and thank you for sharing. I hope I can share a similar story a year from now.

Hey man great work, im at 190 and look very similar to you in your picture when you were 190 originally.

Can you tell me what you did to start leaning up more? if its not a problem. I read your logs but all I could see was stuff you're doing now and was just
curious as to what you were doing then. Im bookmarking this thread for motivation!
Im starting leviathan, dcp, some whey, and some xtend amino acids, never taken pills in my life or shakes.

any tips or maybe your diet would be great! did you have any cheat days?

Good job man you look great, I am completely heterosexual and married but Id have sex with you!lololololololololo haha

EDIT: Id like to add thats its very funny in the first pic you are sad or angry, but the rest of the pictures you have a smiley face.

the weight came off at a steady rate until I hit mid 170's. I kept my diet perfect for about 3 months (no cheating), then I started breaking my cardio into two sessions everyday...fasted in the morning and then post weight training. at the time I was doing a 6 day split...m/th = back + bi's, tu/f = chest + tri's, wed/Sat = legs. plus core training m/w/f.

splitting the cardio really helped me get beyond my plateau! at the time I was training solely for weight loss though.

my diet at the time was very boring!
breakfast - oatmeal and egg whites.
snack - milk, yogurt, pb, protein, strawberry smoothy
lunch - grilled chicken or fish with veggies
snack - leftover smoothy from above
dinner - grilled chicken or fish with steamed veggies
pre bed snack was a casein protein shake

lol, a lot of people have noticed that I look happier in the later pictures.

I'm a computer engineer by trade...I spend all my day sitting at a desk and pushing keys on a keyboard. my thoughts on physical activity are that man was not designed to consolidate all his physical activity into one small portion of your day. I believe that spreading the physical activity out has many benefits!

I felt the best when I was getting my morning cardio (or at lunch time) and then hitting the gym after work...was impossible to continue that while trying to maintain a larger physique though.

No thank you rob! Man i saw your thread a few months ago, and dedicated to have similar success, well unfortunately legal trouble cost me my license and now i cant get to the gym... i officially am at my heaviest weight ever of 230... which isn't horrible but it is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE, makes me wish i woulda watched my diet over the last 3 months because i still probably coulda cut fat without exercise a tad. Anyways its time to get dedicated again your log is whats gonna help me do it! SO THANK YOU!

Oh and glad to hear your are feeling better! Hang in there and keep fighting the good fight brother!

hahah, thanks alot man. Ill be posting up my 1month results with what I have been doing. Yea I think even tho our body types are similar, we were in different situations. I have a lot of mass on me, because technically I have been bulking my entire life. So yea, Im doing cdk diet sort of, with a mix of HIIT, low intesity, and long distance cardio everyday I dont do all of them everyday, I just switch up which one I do daily. Sometimes I do cardio pre or post workout ir really just depends how I feel.

Still waiting on updated pics rob!
damn-it, you're right! I'll be forced to throw some up soon...I'm running a sponsored log of liquidrone when I return to the states (in China for the month of April).

I'm a little afraid that it's not gonna be pretty...eating a clean diet is really hard here!!!!! everything is super fatty and there's almost no such thing as complex carbs :(
