Was just curious if taking certain fat burners, could therotically lead to also increasing the rate of protien synthesis, when eats in a caloric surplus instead of traditional deficit. I just went through 3 quarters of a cut for a show and realised that my schedule makes actually attending impossible this year so I'll have to wait till next to compete at nationals. However I just restocked on all my fatburning supplements just before realizing this and was wondering if when switching to a bulk, these could still be incorporated or if they should be held onto for a future cutting cycle.

A higher MBR doesnt necessarily mean improved protein turnover. The current state of their metabolism also plays part of the equation. A natty hard gainer with a fast metabolism, would probably not benefit from a higher MBR. A higher MBR for an obese individual would help them reduce body fat but there ability to put on muscle depends on various factors.
