im cutting right now..i want to be close to contest ready so i can fully learn exactly how to diet/train for a show without embarrassing me on stage.lol..after this cut i will bulk back up and sign up for a show and diet down while making adjustments to what i do wrong this time..Im not looking for a step by step layout just a vague outline. I want to know how i should train while cutting NATURALLY, cardio included..im stressing natural because i dont wanna see any of that bro science bullshat "high reps"..it works for the pros cuz theyre a walking pharmacy

Train the same way you would to bulk. YOu have to trick your muscles int' KEEPING their size. When you limit cals your body is going to want to lose muscle first. Keeping/building muscle is not a human biological need on the chain of survival.

That in mind, look into Eric Broser's Power, Rep Range, Shock training and his Fiber Damage/Fiber Saturation training. People rave about it. I've been using it for 6-7 years and love it. It's the original "Muscle Confusion" program that has been "ripped off" by many "gurus". You can't beat it.

I will also say to try PRRS..I respect your comment about ''bro science''
One thing about Eric Broser creator of this training system, if you have questions, He will answer it.

Eric actually started a Q & A thread here. He's more than willing to help. ONe of the greatest persons you'll ever meet:

I don't have 150 posts yet so I can't llink you, but I think it's in the Supplement section under Supplement companies under the PNI forum.

YOu can also search his articles here and on google.

swimming is a good way to trim those abs for at least an hour a week. Or enroll in a dancing class because it is something that will make you come out of your comfort zone and make you work that fat off. Or you could play a game that involves you running around in small spaces. If you get my drift, i am recommending something out of the normal crunches thingy.

As for trimming those muscles, i would recommend you take up the Phil Heath program where to avoid injuries, you do a lot of machine training e.g crossover pulls, tricep extension, etc, instead of free weights. If you prefer going the free weights route, cut the weight you normally do and do more sets, e.g if you use 40kgs to benchpress, and you normally go for 5 sets and 10 reps, change that to 20kgs for the weight and maintain the 10reps but increase the sets to 10. This will enable you to avoid injuries just before the competition.
