do you indeed have Hypogonadism or any other medical condition? how much Test Cyp are you taking? You ARE working out routinely and getting bare minimum 1g protein per lb. of bodyweight, right?
I am secondary because my LH is very low and FSH is in normal range and Total T 223. I am taking 200mg /2 weeks.I am working out every alternate day but not gaining muscle. I am not measuring how much protein I am taking ,but aking chicken, fish ,nuts, pea nut butter every day. I cannot build volume in buttocks and upper thighs, thats my main concern. I dont have any other medical condition except for sleeping .
Most likely not enough testosterone and shots are very far apart.
What is your SHBG level?
If it is in the range SHBG(15-25)
try 150-180mg/week on average.
I prefer E2D schedule.
I do 25.5cc shots of DepoT 200mg/mL
Also HCG is need.
On days between T shots I do 500iu HCG
I am primary.
Do testing, check TT, SHBG, E2-ultrasensitive, DHT, cortisol, DHEA, prolacin, FreeT3, FreeT4, rT3
Best if you could do urine 24hr for most of the above
=================================
All this assuming that you have given up advantage of being secondary and having working testis.
Because you could possibly (with luck) skip T shots all together and do only HCG
1000-1250iu/E3D
So there is more than one way approach.
Just do not call another endo, waste of time.My endo tests only Total T , Free T, PSA and blood panel. He says not necessary for E2 ,DHT and SHBG
I am still looking for doctor who prescribes HCG.
Just do not call another endo, waste of time.
Try, osteopats.
you really do need to try to keep track of your protein intake, even normal healthy, young males with no issues won't put on weight no matter how much they juice if they don't get enough protein. Invest in a protein powder, any kind other than soy should be fine really. typically they have between 20-25g of protein per scoop. Put 2 scoops in some milk twice a day on top of what you're eating now. If you're not getting enough protein to put on weight this should help a ton.
Post your zipUnfortunately , I could not find osteopaths in my area.
darkblue1, i thought it was worth me posting since we both have varicocele and both suffer due to them.
I haven't been on any medication (Trying to go natural - it's tough though), but i have noticed the EXACT same symptoms as you describe. It's alarming how similar all varicocele sufferers have identical symptoms.
I am roughly 9.5 stone in weight and a few of my female friends have pointed out how my once 'good' butt has reduced in size and looks less full. I have also noticed reduced muscle in this area of my body too.
To give a more in depth breakdown and potential theory. Varicocele causes strange adrenal output due to the constant inflammation response that never really goes away. The adrenal hormones (i believe) can effect this area of the body negatively (Reduce muscle mass, etc) alongside the low E2, progesterone changes, etc.
My thyroid also got knocked waaayyyy out when varicocele came about. One week before varicocele my TSH was 0.7, 6 weeks after varicocele, TSH was 2.3.
Thyroid is the main hormone that could effect your butt and female fat distrubution due to the estridol metabolism changes that occur.
What are good numbers for thyroid. I have noticed similar changes in body but mostly since I have change from test to clomid for fertility reasons.
