HCG induced Desensitization? Why?

I'm wondering why the point that HCG causes desensitization, the higher the dose the higher the rate of estrogen and progesterone, which both are women hormones.

I think because of these raise too quick of these hormones it overcome testosterone and manliness.

Why do you think?

But I found some say it does not causes desensitization...
