Which tests to take, exactly?

Forgive my n00bishness, but I've searched the forums and I can't find a definitive answer, just various posts scattered around that have people's different tests results listed (I've seen Test, Free test, LH, & FSH)

I am suffering several symptoms that lead me to believe I may have low T. When I walk into my doc's office, I'll say "I would like the following things tested: _______________"

What do I put in the blank?

Many thanks.

This is the right question for Jansz :)

But if your insurance doesn't cover, or your doc won't order all, here's a short list that I started with... it will give you a good idea:

Total Testosterone
Free Testosterone
Estradiol (ultrasensitive)
FSH
LH
SHBG
Prolactin
Cortisol
Glucose
DHEA-S
TSH
Free T3
Free T4

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.

One more question though, and please bare with me if it sounds strange. I am afraid to go to my usual doc because he is my whole family's physician and he is friends with my family. What exactly do I do to find another doc (i.e. how to choose a doc)? And when I am setting up an appointment, what do I say that I'm coming in for? Sorry if that's a stupid question, it's just this is all new to me.

Skip FreeTestosterone,
add Albumin.

After you get test results use chart or calculator to figure out your FreeT.

Any suggestions as to what bloodtest is good to see if clomid is working. I am taking it for fertility. Been on TRT for a while and looking to have another kid. My biopsy showed i had no active/live sperm. Dr. took me off test-e and put me on clomid 50mg/day.

My test levels stayed about the same as when on test-e. So I am seeing Dr. this friday and I know he will do a bloodtest but i wanted to know if there are tests specific for fertility. I would assume LH/FSH are key to validate boys working
