CINCINNATI -- The College Hill mother accused of beheading her 3-month-old daughter last week is scheduled to appear in court Thursday morning.
Deasia Watkins, 20, will be arraigned at 9 a.m. in Hamilton County court on a single count of aggravated murder.
A grand jury returned an indictment against the mother Wednesday afternoon.
Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters' office said the indictment is not being treated as a capital case, meaning Watkins cannot receive the death penalty.
A judge set Watkins' bail Friday at $500,000. She was released a day earlier from Deaconess Hospital and transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center.
