Slavery bill H.R. 5741 is now in debate

H.R. 5741 is now being debated - 2 years of forced labor from everyone between 18 and 42

H.R. 5741 is currently being argued in the house of representatives. If passed, H.R. 5741 will give the president the power to require 2 years of compulsory service from every US resident between ages 18 and 42. That's not a misprint: everyone between ages eighteen and forty-two will be required to serve in any capacity at the president's whim.

This bill will destroy US commerce as citizens are reassigned to service. The bill's sponsor is Charles Rangel, a democrat from New York. The bill does not yet have a co-sponsor. It was introduced on July 15th and is now before the armed services committee.

Prison Planet reports, "Under this new legislation nearly all, able bodied Americans will be sentenced to two years of forced labor. The infrastructure is already in place for those unwilling to participate in mandatory service and now the army is looking to fill it’s ranks with Interment/Resettlement Specialists."

"The slavery bill is currently in debate in the House Committee on Armed Services chaired by Rep Ike Skelton a democrat from Missouri. Those who oppose mandatory slavery should contact Rep. Skelton. Many bills die in committee and this bill should meet the same fate."

The slavery bill H.R. 5741 is now being debated. It will allow the president to require 2 years of service between every US resident between 18 and 42. The Libertarian Examiner says. "The bill HR5741 is government sanctioned slavery. Read it and weep."

I mean freaking seriously.

This is just a publicity stunt usually pulled during war time to protest the war. It is a bullish way of politics and quite truthfully an underhanded way to sway public opinion. Rangel is out the door anyway. This is not going to pass even debate.

Sure, go for it. Why not? I mean, they try to pass more retarded stuff like this all the time anyway?

Oh, that's right. The Senate signed a bill saying that I can't use the word "retarded". Their attempts to curb my sarcasm is retarding my vocabulary. What a bunch of retards.

Anybody else ready for a revolution, or am I just in a bad mood today? :(

I'm with you but be careful because the NAACP now considers you a racist, just like the Tea-party goers.

* start rant * The ghosts of Teddy R, Frank R as well on Ronald Reagan are shaking there head in disgust.......I guess some Jackwagon like Rangel would devise a bill like, and the sad thing is he will most likely only get a slap on the wrist from the ethics comm.... the guy is a crooked as they come and its' not surprising since he's had a nearly 80% vote in all his runs in like the last 20 years that he would feel a little like he's invicible.....goes to show you how ignorant and oblivious the people in his district are, but I'm pretty sure like a majority of the ignorant voters who where captivated by Obama's Charisma as well as the promise of "Got me sum Obama money !!! " where the same demographics that voted for Rangel.....time and time again.

I applaud Rangel's service in Korea but that's it. * end rant *

They ever pass a bill like that, and I will make myself as right as I can right before God, say all my final prayers, and be out the door on a way way trip to start correcting this nation the RIGHT way.

I hear you T-AD, I am just waiting for the action that will act as the trumpet to begin it. This would be it, at least for me. They are not as powerful as they like to think, or present themselves as.

EDIT: I really wish they would pass a bill like that actually...Gives "just cause" :D

I'm not a racist. It's widely known that I hate everyone equally! Yes, srs. I'm grumpy, but somehow really good with hugs. Go figure... ;)

What most don't know about me is that I have little education in anything dealing with anything on this forum! Everything I've learned, I've learned from trial-n-error and my peers. What I AM educated in is history, specifically history education, and more specifically American history. Never got a teaching job, doing something a bit different with my edumacation, but my heart is still in teaching. (Thusly what I do here, get it? :D ) Anywho... if they could, the founding fathers have rolled over in their graves so many times they've burrowed across the world. What we have become is NOT what they set out to create. For those who have studied history, there's not much else we can do but sit back and cry. Or revolt. Your choice.

I could go on and on and on and on about political views and whatnot, but I absolutely hate politics because of the people that will get drawn into this conversation and the stand they'll take. Liberal, conservative, moderate, whatever. I'm all, and none at all. I am American, and entitled to it.

I was in college to be a history teacher :D So much so many could learn from looking over their shoulders, but oh how the proclaimed wise seem to act so foolishly...Sadly with teaching and education currently going the way of the Rain Man....I decided to invest my education into, well, its in mah sig.

I agree on pretty much every level of that. I hate politics, and anyone involved in them except a select few who try to do good only to realize its too late.

Oh, and I am not one for crying, ran out of those wet things long ago when a she-devil drained em all, so I guess that only leaves one option :chairshot: :D

On an Ironic note, I am Currently listening to "The Art of War" alongside my NASM audio track at work. They go hand in hand I think.

I am by no means a radical. But I see revolution is upon us. I dont think it would be too difficult either. No matter what your political views we as a nation are being screwed. Taxes, over controlling federal government, Hell, our president is trying to say states cant enforce federal laws. In order to curb a revolution the government needs to have a force to stop it. I dont see many of todays soldiers willing to kill another American

The fact that our elected officials are even debating this makes my blood boil. Isn't this the ideology that our founding fathers got away from and tried to prevent? People who serve in any capacity should do it because they want to. -I will never in my life just shut up and do as i'm told. How about we reset the laws in the country based on the original constitution, like the rep points.--Never happen.

I hope you're right. I've seen and heard reports of soldiers killing children and reporters.

This is why a generous portion of each paycheck goes towards buying ammo and such.

A nice hunting rifle,a decent pistol, and maybe a an AK since they are cheap as hell are nice to have around.

If you can, learn how to make thermite, and other such substances and read up on military tactics. Soldiers have fought many enemies, but no one has ever prevailed against the American people(technically, ignoring political wars like Nam and the Current). And neither will federal troops if it comes to that.

I would believe it. A friend of mines dad who is big in the NRA and into politics was talking about how they been testing the idea of bringing in Chinese troops or others that would shoot U.S. citizens since our soldiers would likely tell their CO to screw off.

All that is going to do is make lots of Chinese get picked off. Easy targets if you ask me. I never realized how armed some citizens are until I moved to Arizona. It's crazy!

I really think to much attention is paid to northern states and the west coast.

I would love to see a foreign armed soldier be placed anywhere in my state, or God help them, even more south than I. Southern people love their country and the term "The south would rise again" is an understatement.

When you really look at it, removing the racial connotation of the civil war, the south was essentially fighting back against growing overreaching government... sound familiar?

I plan on moving south sometime. I am told I will fit in better, country people are my folk. During my trips down to southern states I must say it makes one feel better about being an American again. Actually if America split it could be a very good thing indeed. Smaller governments, smaller groups of people, harder to hide corruption or ignore the peoples voice.

Wonder how soon something will happen? I need to get me a citizenship in Canada though, so I can bail if things go "south" in the wrong sense hahah

The slavery connotation was only used to drum up public support. Many of the southern states had already outlawed slavery, yet did not want to be a part of an ever growing federal government, and believed strongly in states rights. Local concerns, local administration.

I agree. Thats what I was alluding too. The stigma of the Rebel flag is annoying as the collective does not know the actual representation.

I giggle a little driving down I75 from Tampa to Brandon as there is a HUGE rebel flag flying off someones property, has to be on a 60 foot pole and soemthing like 15x20 feet.
