Hello,
As more of a starter, how do I properly work chest?
I am currently doing:
Bench Press: Max is 8 reps of 135
Decline DB Press: Max is about 8 reps of 50
Not doing any incline?

Age: 35
Current weight is 172 from 176, and dropping to about 165.
Current body fat % about 21-23%
Height: 5'9"

Thanks

I'd highly recommend sticking with flat BB bench, incline BB bench, and flys and dropping decline all together. Incline is thoroughly neglected by most beginners and then later on you'll end up with an uphill battle of trying to get your upper chest up to par. Between those three movements you'll develop a pretty balanced looking chest. I also like to end my chest workouts with some DB pullovers. Don't forget to do dips as well, but you can throw this in on an arms day.

Agreed with flat bench. Also, pre exhausting the triceps is a great way to get more focus on your chest work. Could help you build strength faster.

Okay. Doing it backwards. Been focusing on chest first because didn't want to fatigue triceps to much where didn't get a good chest workout. Now, I realize, that doesn't really make sense.
Would like to do the DB pullover's, but it is too risky with my shoulder (5 dislocations, not since 2000 after arthroscopic stabilization).
