I know those things are nasty ... but 30g of fat in that tiny can? That's a goldmine for the CKD.

Those are delicious, but I would say compare prices on other foods.

5 ounces yields 2.5 servings at 120 grams per a serving.

2 carbs
5 protein
11 fat

One dollar for 300 calories worth of food, ehhh.

I get them for $0.59 a can or a box of 20 cans for $8.99, so I don't think it's too bad.

60 cents sounds better, assuming its the same size. Personally I wouldn't replace a meat product with another one if it supplies less calories.

Yeah, I know, but the sheer simplicity of fully-cooked, canned meat is too hard to pass up.

Very true. I had bought 2 pounds of hot sausage on sale. It was a gift to myself. Every two sausages came out to somewhere around 550 calories.
