So i've been non stop thinking about the fat% and I measured my waist (at belly button) and it's 42" which is 10" more then when I was a teen to mid twenties. I tried on pants that I stopped wearing because they were tight and they still are. So now i'm wigging out on how much muscle i've lost.

If you're getting enough protein, you shouldn't be losing any muscle. The fact that you're doing 75 minutes of cardio five times a week while only lifting weights one day a week is not helping. Your body is probably in starvation mode and trying to hold on to whatever it has. Cut back the cardio man. What's your diet like?

Day 1 on OEP: 199.2 Pnds. 20.7% Body Fat. 56.6% Body Water. 150.0 Pounds Muscle.
Last Day on OEP:198.2 Pnds. 19.6% Body Fat. 57.5% Body Water. 151.6 Pounds Muscle.
I gained a couple pounds of muscle, I'm not sure why you would lose any. Like daniel said, if you were running alot and only lifting 1 day a week, your body may have been burning muscle as fuel. While taking this I lifted 5-6 days a week, and only did cardio once or twice a week. This is probably the reason why I didn't lose any weight. But my body fat did go down 1%, which is almost 2 pounds of fat. So I exchanged 2 pounds of fat for 2 pounds of muscle while taking this. Overall, I'd say that it is pretty good, it did help a little bit, but I think I put in most of the work. I'm going to start taking Animal Cuts now, by Universal, along with their Animal Pak, which is their multivitamin. I'll keep you guys updated on that in here, along with talk to you about your progress with OEP.

Here's my final log of results from start to finish, overall i'm quite pleased, managed to drop body fat and weight, whilst increasing muscle mass % (all done by the scales, so calculations to be done from my side) so all in all, the numbers moved in the right direction and there is no doubt in my mind that OEP provided both the energy and focus and appiteitte supression for me in order to deliver the result. For me, this product works and I would use again in the future (about to try something a little more hard core for the next 8 weeks and then will see if I run another bottle of OEP after that)

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to drop weight, body fat and gain energy.

I would be drinking more protein but I don't like the combat. Unfortunately, I still have probably 4lbs left. Diet varies. Breakfast is usually leftovers or glass of combat, lunch ether or again. Today was one chicken apple sausage ) and one spoon of mash ptoes (yesterday 4oz cod, b4 that 2oz chicken & veggies 3 hrs later will probably be 1 soft chicken taco & tea from carls jr, spinach salad or even sushi. 4hrs later would be either carls chicken salad or jbox chicken fajita and water or tea. 3 or 5 hrs later is glass of bsn protein or combat or allmax.

Update:
I just realized or forgot rather that my body fat analyzer needs to be manually updated. So i'm not in as bad a state as I think or feel. I have to manually change the inputed settings and I think it was on 196lbs. So below is today's corrected. Sorry, I do not know how to do a formula to correct all the previous data. The biggest change you will see is the BMI has decreased.

Day one March:
Thur |196.5lbs| AM=20.8% BMI=28.7 |RM=25.5%| BMI=29.3 3P 60C

Week 6 mid April:
Fri |193lbs| AM=20.9% BMI=27.7 |RM=24.4%| BMI=27.7 0P 0C
*AM= Athlete mode (takes in to account more muscle for calculation)
*RM= Regular Mode

6 week results = Scale weight down approximately 4lbs, BF% down 1%, BMI down 1.5%

Hey, sounds like good news. Looks like your results were a little better than mine, thats great. Will you be running another cycle of this? If so I'd love to hear your progress with it. I started Animal Cuts on friday, so far I like it. A half hour after I take it, I get a burst of energy and a warm burning sensation in my stomach. So far no crazy results, I'll keep you guys updated, in case it works much better for me than OEP did, (I'm hoping it does.) I take it without the diuretic complex (the two blue pills.) I don't want to lose that much water weight, and there are a few ingredients in the other complexes that are also diuretics. I'll keep you guys updated on my results, let me know how you do with OEP.

Yes, i'm on my second bottle as of about a weak or more. I believe I should be doing the 75min but with school and work. Well actually, the past few days I have taken my book and studied on the tread mill which works out great since it is easier to study as it it reduces stress and time fly's by. Who wants to watch the view (I know what the big V stands for) or soaps or crap or stare at the clock.

Anyhow ...
Sat 194 19.2 27.8 21.8 27.8 2 60W
Stupid Microsoft beta 1+1+1 None
Mon 193 19.9 27.7 22.7 27.7 2 70C
Tue |193.5|19.2 27.8 |22.0|27.8 2+1 60C
Weight still fluctuates but this time I change it it daily on the fat % analyzer. I'm disappointed I still can't wear size 34 as 36 is loose and there's no such thing as a 35.

Well you're still down 3 pounds from your starting weight, hopefully the first bottle got you over the hump as you predict. As far as cardio, maybe you should try to just do 30 mins of cardio, and up your weight training. You were very worried about losing muscle, and if you did lose any, it was probably due to high amounts of cardio, and low amounts of weight training. I highly suggest reducing your cardio, and upping your weight training. Let me know how everything goes. Good Luck!

Thanks man, will do, i've actually built a complete PH stack, mainly using LG stuff and advice from reps and other research on the board. I realise that it's not necessarily the most favoured approach for someone who still has, relatively speaking, a high BF%, but i've been here before, plateaued and then lose faith. So this time i'm up for something different, it's 6-8 weeks of my life and worth a shot, if I don't see the results, then c'est la vie and i'll look at other more natural approaches. I've been training off and on for over 15 years, although possibly not with as much vigour and attention to nutrition as I do now. Not sure if I will run a "blow by blow" log since it's not sponsored and i'm short on time to dedicate to capturing every lift and excercise.

I haven't started yet, i've got my two-yearly company health assessment on Friday and i'm currently taking nothing apart from Cycle Assist (which I am running for a min of two weeks prior to PH start), CLA and EFAs + Protein, and dialling in the diet in preparation. My stats at my last assessment where 31% BF and 220lbs, and that was before I reached my peak around 234lbs - I guess they are going to be pleased, no matter what my weight and BF says on the day. i.e. +/- 30lbs and 10% BF down on last assessment.

Forthcoming stack will be

Cycle support & Other
Anabolic Innovations - Life Support
Met -RX - CLA
Met -RX - EFA
Body Fortress Whey Protein (Low GI/Carb + BCAA)

Transdermal
LG Sciences -LipoBurn

Pre Workout Supps
LG Sciences - Anadraulic Pump
LG Sciences - Anadraulic State

Cycle
LG Sciences - Trifecta Stack - Methyl 1-D, Methyl & Masterdrol V2
Competitive Edge Labs - 11-Sterone
LG Sciences - Ghenerate 4oz

Post Cycle Support
LG Sciences - Trifecta Stack - Formadrol Extreme
LG Sciences - T-911 Sublingual Tabs

Need to sort out nutrition and supps diary, just to keep track of what to take when, since there is going to be a lot of it... if the placebo effect works, i should be sorted, since I can't see how this isn't going to result in a major transformation!!!!

Goracer, I agree with Drum, if you feel you must do as much Cardio for whatever reason, consider doing it on alternating days to weights -either way I think you might need some rebalancing of activity. Everyone is different but I remember being where you are with the trouser debacle, when I started this journey I was wearing 40 - 42", dropped to 36" and then couldn't really get past it... UNTIL I started doing 150 crunches, and 150 medicine ball twists EVERY morning. Can I see my abs? hell no, but can I feel them under that last inch of fat, YES! and I currently wear between 32" and 34" trousers/jeans which depends on fabric/style... but i'm much happier. Maybe not as happy as i would be if I could see the muscle, but happier than when I was where you are.

remember the other key things
1. You need muscle to lose fat, concentrate on big muscle groups, back, legs, chest etc... biceps may look pleasing but they are so small in real terms & when compared with the gains you can make on building muscle on the legs, there is no contest - particularly when you know that bigger muscles means more fat loss!
2. Cardio does not always equate to effective fat loss, training "Cardio" at low intensity, (60 - 65% of max heart rate) proportionately burns more fat calolries than "cardio" at high intensity (80 - 85% of max heart rate). In actual fat the amount of calories burnt is very similar, except after 30 mins of cardio at low intensity you might still be able to put in a good weights session for 45 mins, which might be more of a challenge if the cardio is done at high intensity...

Below is an example of the Karvonen formula for a 23 year old person with a resting heart rate of 65 beats per minute (*to get your resting heart rate, take your pulse for one full minute.):

220 - 23 (age) = 197
197 - 65 (resting heart rate) = 132
132 * 65% (low end of heart rate) OR 85% (high end) = 85.8 OR 112.2
85.8 + 65 (resting heart rate) = 150 112.2 + 65 (rhr) = 177
The target heart rate zone for this person would be 150 to 177

For this person to work in his 'fat burning' zone, he would need to stay around 150 beats per minute or lower. To work within his 'cardio' zone, he would need to work at 150 bpm or higher.

Anyway, you probably know all of this already, and as I said everyone is different, and the best is to find out what works for you, but if something isn't working, then change up and try something else and see if that works... losing weight and fat isn't a "race" it's a "journey" - it's taken me 18mths to get to this point now... 44lbs down and >10% BF drop.

Good luck man, i'll be keeping subbed and really wish you every success!

Hey man. I'd have to say this stuff did work well for me, clearly lost some body fat without losing muscle. I've been reading a little more about it lately, and a lot of people say that stacking it with Recreate (also by USP labs) works much better. I have heard good things about both products, and am considering doing this stack this summer. Just thought I'd suggest this to you, as you may get much better results doing this. I wish I had known about this before, as I think it would have helped me more. The Recreate seems to work better as an energy booster and appetite suppresant. It also is stimulant free, so it sounds like a good product to stack with OEP (which is a fairly strong stimulant.) Just a suggestion, let me know how it goes if you do order OEP.

any problems with sleep?
I had a few nights that were a little tough to fall asleep. I also had nights with some restless sleep, (rolling around a lot, waking up a few times.) But overall it wasn't too bad. I would highly suggest taking your second dose by 3 or 4 p.m. in order to reduce the risk of sleep problems. Most days that I took my second dose by 4, I had no trouble sleeping. It also has to do with your tolerance to stimulants, I'd say I have about a medium tolerance.

Hey sorry about that, I must have misunderstood when people were saying that they liked how it didnt make them wired. I thought that it was free of stimulants, but thank you for the correction. How do you feel about stacking OEP with Recreate?

I love it... So many mechanisms at work there.

There are a few different options...I personally like running 1 OEP, 2 Recreate, 2 times per day. I know some that prefer dosing 1-2 OEP in the am, 2 Recreate in the pm.

All about how the product(s) works for you.

Thank you. I may try one of those stacks over the summer. As you can see from my log I did have some success while using OEP. I like to think that I put in the work to get those results, but I definately believe that your product helped me. It supplied me with good energy and appetite suppression. I also do believe that it helped to burn fat. While my results were positive they werent particularly significant. Do you think that stacking these two products would give me more significant results? Or maybe just running the OEP for longer?

Sounds awesome, I wish my success was as great as yours. I have to admit my diet and training were not fully in order while i was taking OEP, and I still got decent results. I'm taking Animal Cuts right now with no success at all. I've been on it for 10 days now, and nothing has happened. I deeply regret buying Animal Cuts, and wish now that I had gotten another bottle of OEP instead... Nothing I can do now except help you guys to not make the same mistake. I may not have believed it so much at the time, but OEP really does seem to work. I think I will start it up again once schools over.

Yea, I did research on all the ingredients they use in cuts. About 90% of them seemed to have proven weight loss benefits. It seemed to be a well formulated product, unfortunately it hasn't done anything for me. OEP did do fairly well even when I was not training and dieting to my full potential. I've tried 3-4 cutting products and OEP is the only one that has shown me ANY positive results. If I had to recommend a cutting product, OEP would be it.

yeah, ive only tried a handful of them and OEP is the only one to provide results and to provide results without bad sides. I used Hydroxycut hardcore once about 4 years ago, i know i know, and i broke out in a rash that covered my chest and back and threw up for days. i hadent touched a fat burner since until this year and OEP delieverd.

Wow, thats crazy man. I'm sorry to hear that. OEP seems to be a product that does deliver, and I will consider using it again sometime. I stopped cuts yesterday, and today I felt so much better. Cuts actually DRAINED me of energy AND kept me up at nights... go figure. It was awful, and I didn't get a single good lift while on it. Stopped yesterday, and had a great lift today. The stuff was awful, i dont know why. I'm just happy to be off of it. I'm going to try taking CLA for a more natural, stimulant/free approach. Also don't want to be putting tons of unknown chemicals in my body anymore. Also was thinking about adding Phaseolamin 2250 a couple times a day to cut some carb calories. Anyone have any experience with either of these two supplements?

Quick question about OEP..

On the bottle it says not to combine with any other caffeine products. If I take the first dose at 7am, then again at 4pm, then take my pre-WO supp at 6pm, would this be ok?

yeah, thats almost exactly what ive been doing. it all depends on your stim tolerance. if your bodies ok doing that, then its ok.

I think i'm on 8 weeks today (not sure but if not then close). I did not feel like weight lifting on sat. I need sleep and I have very slow recovery, so allthough I prefer weight lifting I can read on the tread mill and it doesn't require as much effort. As for over doing cordio, not so. Most days I am at a fast walk just slightly below a jog and some days I throw in 2 min fast run with a total of 10-15 at the most to make it HIT. I use the 60 mn weight lifting rule and apply it to cardio. Allthough, I know I can acheive better results from 75min but i'm afraid of sacrificing muscle. I am not overdoing cardio by any means.

Tue 200lbs BF=26.50% BMI=29.50 OEP's=2+2 Cardio=none
March 2nd, I beleive. My logs are messed up so this is from the 1st page of this thread.

Wed 192lbs(-8lbs) BF=22.60%(-4.1%) BMI=27.6(-2.1%) OEP's=2+1 Cardio=unk amt
05/04/2010 - 8 week results

I did not reach my 1st goal of 20% but it is consistantly dropping and it controls hunger.

impressive drop mate, 8lbs and 4% isn't to be sniffed at, keep with it, I still haven't managed sub 20% BF yet, but hoping for it in the next few weeks! Good luck

what are you going to do now if anything? I know that you're supposed to take 4 weeks off after 8 weeks on OEP

I won't consider that yet just becuase it's 8 weeks. I've taken days off, usually sundays. I will continue untill the 2nd bottle is empty. I really have to bump up to 75min and do more HIT, as well as add more weght days but for me to be able to lift I need 8 hours of quality sleep. My new plan is 1/2 body W & F, M,T,Th being cardio. W will be smaller muscles like bi's, shoulders, lower back, stumach & fri will be chest and back. Yes, I know i'm leaving out legs but I don't have chicken stick legs and again it goes back to recovery as I won't be able to do any cardio for days after a leg work out. So I have the weekend to recover from the large muscle groups.

Now to get disciplined and get err done.

Wow. Great results man. Very inspiring progress, and I wish you luck on the rest of your use of OEP. It seems to work very well for you, which is causing me to consider running it again. Keep me posted on your progress and Congrats on what you've done so far!!

Hey all,
Thanks for all of your support in my first log. I was happy to have everyones experiences and feedback here in the log. Go racer, and others in this log, have inspired me to try another cycle of OEP. I think I'm also going to stack Recreate with OEP, as I've heard that this works very well. I will be posting a new log on this, and hope that all of you will visit. Best of luck to everyone, and I'm going to keep this log open for anyone else that wishes to log their progress/share any feedback.
