NG PULLUPS superset VBAR PUSHDOWNS

OH CABLE TRICEP EXTENSION superset WG LAT PULLDOWNS

I didn't post this, but I deadlifted on Saturday and couldn't move 475 off the floor. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. This is probably a function of not being regular with it (remember, I hit 495 2 weeks ago).

I have had this too big guy. Think of it this way. You did not lose the lean mass that had you doing that #550-#600, so all the tissue is still right there. One just has bad days (like when we are weak from the flu) or just needs a tune in or a so called receptor spark. You still have a 454 under your hood kiddo...!

Heh, I don't know if I'm "strong enough" yet for the weight, but like Paul says I have it in me. I just need to be at the right space-time point is all (sorry, been reading a little bit too much astronomy lately). A brief update - there's some forward motion again on my shoulder. Seeing a specialist who actually works with university, pro, and olympic athletes (as opposed to the PT lady who only saw old men and average joe gym heroes who neck press weight exclusively in smith machines). Appointment is in 2 weeks.

Hey man. Sorry to read of the nagging injury. What exactly is going on, and is this similar to what's been going on for some time now?

I am getting a second opinion on my shoulder tomorrow. I am positive it needs to be repaired. Highly unstable. Can't kept the shoulder down and retracted even when doing light DB curl work. I want to lift everything with my upper trap again. Has to be the RC.Heal up big guy. You definitely have it in you. Much bigger numbers are in your future.

Hey, jinxie. Yeah, it's just a continuation of what's been going on. It's funny how I'm starting to look at many of the non-invasive procedures that you had talked to me about in various other places for my shoulder. Thankfully no signs of tears, so they say it's a soft tissue issue (adhesions, scar tissue, etc).

I read up on your latest updates on your shoulder. I hope all that goes well, man.

I just found out I have this cyst, lipoma, or something in my lower back that has been bothering me for some time now. I guess it took a little while for it to grow large enough for me to be able to see/feel it with my hand, but there's definitely something there. Gonna try to see a doc on Tues (a follow up for a consultation relating to a recent URI) and ask him about it.

Simple 6

INCLINE BENCH
95-10 <-- varying speeds and explosiveness
135-5,5
185-3
205-6x3 <-- 90-120 seconds rest between sets
205-4 <-- all reps paused

SHAFRAN PRESSES (press/extension hybrid using light farmers carries' implements with mini band attached to it)
95+mini band-4x10 <-- murderous pump

HIGH INCLINE FLARED DB ROWS (basically DB MEADOWS ROWS)
115-12,12,10

OH SINGLE ARM TRI EXTENSION superset DB CURLS
blue band-18,14,12
50-8,8,8 drop 25x10

FACEPULLS
70-12,10,8

I was pleasingly surprised at how easy the weight was towards my last 3 sets on incline. My first 4 sets I didn't use a handoff, and the reps were rather slow. But for the last 3 I got a liftoff and they were significantly faster. How about them apples?

Glad to hear there is no serious, frank injury to cuff and labrum, Toro. I hope you can get some relief from the treatments you are pursuing. FWIW, I am returning to medical acupuncture next week, along with trigger point injections every few weeks. In my experience, this is the only thing that helps the painful spams that come from compensating for my injury.

Coincidentally, I have a cyst in my left rear delt. Or at least had one at the time of my last MRI. But doc said nothing to sweat. It's a function of injury, in my case. Hope yours ends up being benign as well!Hang in there man. You'll get this resolved.
