Ran 531 for awhile now, stopped for a month.. reset maxes by about 1 or 2 cycles to play it safe... question is should I continue to ride out those numbers for a long time, or adjust maxes after I deload ? And by ran for awhile I mean a year off and on due to military training and such... (these are th PR set weight and reps, week 1 5+, week 2 3+, and week 3 1+)

Cycle A - week 1 thro 3
Bench - 160x10 / 170x10 / 180x9
DL - 295x12 / 310x12 / week 3 skipped and went and got 455 x1, new 1rm PR
OHP. - 110x12 / 115x11 / 125x10
Squat. - 205x11 / 225x12 / 235x12

Cycle B - week 1 thro 3
bench - 170x14 / 180x10 / 190x8
DL - 305x14 / 320x4 / 345x2 week 2 and 3 got required reps +1, 465x1 new 1rm pr
ohp. - 115x12 / 120x10 / 130x7
Squat - 225x12 / 240x10 / 250x9

So, easily got required reps on PR sets... DL I normally don't got for 1rm like that when running 531 but was feeling froggy, previous 1rm was 425 before last 2 cycles... thanks!

I'd leave it how it is and see how things for for a few cycles. No sense in constantly changing it. Let the program work itself out.

It was just a general statement and wasn't meaning that you did it constantly. A lot of people tweak their training maxes a lot when really they should ride it out. That's all. Good luck with the training! 531 is great.

Glad you support CL, man!
