Hi,
I got my testosterone checked, because I've always thought my testosterone is on the lower side, and want to know where I am before I put an concerted effort on raising it.
It was a Saliva test and the result was:
(I have just turned age 30)
Testosterone 130 pg/ml 46-285
Age T Range
20-29 83-250
30-39 64-201
40-49 60-196
50-59 60-184
60-69 46-174
This is a Saliva test, so I'm guessing this is Calculated Free testosterone.
At 30, I am between the first and second Age ranges, splitting the difference I create my own artificial range for Age 25-35 of:
Range for Age 25-35: 70 -230 pg/ml
So average level in the range would be 150 pg/ml and I am 130 pg/ml.
I'm guessing this equates to a testosterone level of 500ng/dl (maybe slightly less?)
I'm neither happy nor unhappy about this result, it is where I thought I was, and it gives me some hope of making it to the average/above-average range rather than below average.
Where do you think it is in the percentile range for my age, about 25-30%?
I would love to get these levels up. Any ideas on permanent ways I can get my levels up to more like 650-700 ng/dl or equivalent?
I have a pretty good diet, and no major stress, and generally keep fit. Only thing that would effect me is my job, where the work is mundane, I feel trapped and like a slave
Thanks for any help!
