Tamoxifen stunt growth hormone release?

I found this interesting and was wondering what you guys thought. Any ideas? An NIH study said that they gave tamoxifen to guys in puberty(didn't specify dose) to see the effects on different hormones and found it inhibited igf1 and gh. This was only from 4 days. No way of knowing how much. They didn't seem to follow up and say 'in X amount of days the suppression was back to X of basal levels' like you would see in most things. Only assumption that could be made, I WOULD THINK- would be they don't recover until the 5-6 weeks it takes for the half life of the Tamoxifen to wear off? Input anyone?
