Shelf life of Tamoxifen Citrate

I have an unopened bottle of Tamoxifen Citrate. I've had it for awhile though. I was wondering if it's still good. It's been in a closet for a couple years now. Thanks.

if it was air tight,and away from light/extreme temps it should be safe.....maybe a slight loss of potency......jmo
