Rowing machine hit back effectively for you

I was curious if the rowing machine would be an effective supplement to back training.. Obviously the overall load is nothing compared to deads, db rows, bb rows, etc.. But the repetitive motion could induce some massive sarcoplasmic growth if you really forced the actual rowing motion and contracted the rhomboids forcefully.. What do you think

Rowing is actually very hip dominant. That's why strength coaches use hang cleans and deadlifts to improve force output in competitive rowers.

Are we talking about indoor c2 the rower or simply low-cable seated rows?
