"I received a call about the raid, and immediately went to the office. I asked to speak to the head agent(s), who were Jeff Novitzky and Hilary Rickher. Against the advice of others, I choose to speak to them without an attorney. I handed them our DSHEA statement, sat down and allowed them to question me for about 2 hours regarding the formulation, marketing, and manufacturing of our products. They did not detain or arrest anyone."

Anyone who knows anything about law knows this is complete and utter BS. After a company is raided (just think the financial industry) they do not allow the defendant to sit down with the attorney of who is trying to build his case to have a "sit down discussion." And the attorney would certainly not lay out his cards on the table and let him know what they are trying to prove against him. Witness will be subpoenaed, testimony of witness will be presented to a grand jury, and the prosecuting attorney will win his case to move to the next level (ie federal or state trial). The owner of PP will be tried and prosecuted.

That is the flow. Not this I sat down with the guy who raided me and we shared a cup of coffee over why I did it bull****.

LOL and all of the negs i received over this post. I guess common sense will always win huh?

Just Google "******** update on primordial performance raid" and you'll find it.

Basically saying it may have been the IRS because of tax liens that were placed on PP.

Interesting read. Thanks for posting this up. Lesson is always pay your taxes.

Next up. PP was shut down because they didn't offer health insurance to it's reps.

I’ve known Eric for years, back in Sept 2012 I got out of the Army to go to work at PP (impeccable timing I know). Eric was trying to lean the company out and make it profitable, and I’m a big operations/ supply chain/ accounting kind of guy so I was going to head a lot of that up. Anyway, there I was on Oct. 30 2012 making my morning coffee at PP when 15 FDA agents with guns drawn started banging on the door (I know what you’re thinking, who decided to let the FDA carry guns) well thankfully none of them accidentally shot themselves.

As Eric said in his letter, PP had decent sales but was too heavy on overhead, we were working on making the company lean and profitable, and it was trending in the right direction when we got nailed. The FDA agents were pretty confident we were actually putting steroids in the product (how else could it have been so effective, right?), but of course found no evidence to that end. They basically hit a dry hole, the worst they had on PP was stuff they found on the forums, and I think in the year that has passed they have just moved on to prosecute easier, higher profile cases.

The whole thing was as bizarre to us as it is to everyone else, the FDA agents came through, imaged all the hard drives, ransacked the place for paperwork, and then said, hey no one is under arrest, we aren't putting you out of business, but we "strongly suggest" you don't sell the andro-series any more. And then they left with $400k in inventory. And that’s basically the last we heard of them. Eric contacted them a few times but it was clear that we were in for a legal battle to get any product back, and we just didn’t have the cash.

We were inventory heavy when they hit us, we had just had fresh batches of Andro Series delivered. But most importantly, we lost 90% of our revenue stream and we had to make a large back rent payment to the landlord in 7 days, so we made the smart move, liquidated everything we could and moved out in 6 days.

The rest... well me and Eric teamed up to make Botanical Craft, and you can find plenty about that on our about us page: http://botanicalcraft.com/about/.

But why does any of this matter? Well during those incredibly chaotic 6 days following the raid, we lost the damn search and seizure warrant that the FDA gave us and about a week ago I found it in a laptop case I haven't used in... well since the raid.

That botanical website is laughable. From PP to Palm fruit antioxidants. Idk about that. Best of luck though I'm sure you will make money.

This is a shame. I remember Primordial Performance in its early days. I remember the support from this company. I think i was speaking to the owner at the time.
